RE: HOW SICK IS THIS

HOLD ON... talk about prejudiced! my guy is Dutch and is the sweetest kindest man I have ever met! his love and understanding of all animals is a joy to see.

Its obvious you have not heard about the cruelty that goes on in this country for instance...so many Greyhound puppies destroyed before they have a chance to live, unwanted, Old and Neglected horses sent to the knackery some heavy in foal, gentle and dedicated farm dogs worked into the ground, hunting dogs tied up for weeks on end forgotten about, the weak cries of tiny lambs as their throats are cut by the farmer! and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

In my lifetime I have come across some terrible acts of cruelty and when I could I have done something about it, because of it I once had my life threatened.

Obs have you any idea what really goes on and if you do you just close your eyes to it... instead you sit there and pick on one particular person what an absolute joke.

RE: Annoying - nothing on TV Monday nights

Funny enough I also love Monday nights trouble is my programs sorta converge so now I record the Voice as my G.daughter loves it, we will zip through the endless ads and the too many boring songs.

Love Paul Murry live on skye news, one of the panel is Mark Latham, what a hoot he was tonight' he stated that the Libs should bring back Peter Costello as leader with his smart laid back attitude' keep Abbott on but as his Deputy... and use him as the attack dog and Libs would do it so very easy.

Just realised one of the things that Tony Abbott does when he is trying so hard to get his point across is look like he is a chook pecking into the air that nodding of his head is not a nice look.

RE: Your best ever date

For Goodness sake STOP THIS childish behavior NOW...doh
Looking I dont really know you but you seem a great guy apart from your silly and sometimes sarcastic posts finished off with only joking hmmmm.

I do know AA.he has become a good friend over the years I have been on here and often chat on the phone AND NO Romance has ever come into it as I am not into toyboys nor he into cougars(hate that word)my guy also knows I chat to him with no worries at all.

I have found AA to be a delightful and caring guy who will go out of his way to give support and care to his friends I for one found his advice and commonsense invaluable when I was at my most lonely
and vulnerable time in my life, and that friendship has endeared.

This is why I love connecting singles and its set up' it really does do what its name suggests' it brings all people from all walks of life together whether it be romance or friendship and its that friendship that has brought many members together online or off.

RE: Unexplained events?

Queensland has got a very nasty virus at the moment, the Hendra Virus has reard its ugly head again, that is spread by the fruit bat.
Horses seem the most vulnerable and they in turn pass it onto man.

Vic Rail a Trainer made famous by the horse he trained Vo Rouge' was one who died of that virus plus others, this might not mean anything but heard that his stables were filthy and rarely cleaned out even before this virus showed up... so it could have given the virus a chance to spread and evolve as quite a few of his horses died or were put down because of it as well.

The Virus is passed on by bodily fluids and maybe dirty drinking water so cleanliness is vital apparently.

RE: Unexplained events?

Thinking about other beings ...we can only think of them as far as our minds will let us.
Different planets might have some sort of life that is way out of our thoughts and imagination' it does not even have to be a lifeform as such to us....so much we dont know or even want to go there. confused dunno sigh

RE: apple

Positive thinking.... Always' what else is there.hug

RE: apple

Warning everyone...having a moan about my pain ...just ignore.

I have got to have an op on my back Curly' got a bulging disc pressing on a nerve, taking 12 hour Oxycontin for the pain and when it wears off after about 8 hours its bloody awful,I now know how addicts feel.

What I am doing is only taking one 15 mg tab every 24 hours instead of every 12 hours, gees it was bad enough coming off effexor antidepressants never want to go through that again as the withdrawal symptoms are worse than any pain you can imagine,so at the moment fighting the body on two fronts'so get a bit confused at times.

Should have the op in about 8 weeks, fingers crossed it will work.
Must remain strong as there is nothing worse than a misery around the place as it affects everyone around me.

RE: heaven

They say that when close to death the mind sends messages to the conciseness that there is a heaven as nature helps with the passing.

I know in my heart that there is nothing after death,if there was Reincarnation I would be worried what I would come back as.JMO

RE: Tony Abbott, is he mad?????

I must make a comment on these Budgie Smugglers (my pet hate) uh oh it is a well known fact that cold water make the male apparatus shrink to minute proportions.
So this is one of the reasons that when males wear these little Budgies always look so .....well to be frank tiny' so why the hell do guys continue to wear them as they do NOT do you any favours in that department.

It seems they are the in thing for the older generation and Liberals Politicians, Apart from Abbott even our own Vic Premier ventures out in them. doh

There maybe snow on the roof but the fire still burns. blushing grinso there. wave

RE: Is there anything more painful than unrequited love?

I really hope you forget this lady as it seems your mind is sort of using her for an excuse not to get on the road to better future.

Hear this.... you are NOT UGLY' you have a really nice face, all you have to do is lose that weight to match your looks, Plus you will live a hell of lot longer.

RE: OTT

Nobody has the right to be happy anymore in fact tell me where there is in the media' a happy story. dunno

look at peoples faces'with most of them their mouths are turned down into a permanent scowl' if they turn up there is something very weird about them! it means they are not conforming to the average outlook on life. frustrated sigh

RE: Unexplained events?

Think everyone has gone to bed.grin

Hamish Macbeth

This little gem is one of the most delightful shows on TV, it makes us feel great which is so rare for any type of media to do these days.

Robert Carlyle is fantastic as the Scottish policeman in the little town of Lochdubh (pronounced Lokdoo)he had the lead in the film The Full Monty and many other good films.

If you have never watched it and even if you dont watch TV try it as it is a joy,its on monday nights on channel 7 two.wave

RE: Is there anything more painful than unrequited love?

My dear as far as I have seen NOBODY is fed up with your explanations about yourself in fact it gives us some idea about who you are ...in fact I understand what you are going through as I am waiting for an op on my back myself and I have to take oxycontine (long acting)these drugs are highly addictive so I only take one every 24 hours instead of every 12 hours,am on the urgent list so its only a matter of about 6weeks to wait.

So if you want to open up about yourself never hesitate as we all have our own problems and demons to fight OK.hug teddybear

RE: Is there anything more painful than unrequited love?

Oh dear you poor old thing ..dont ever EVER' give up she is out there but only if you want to find her.
