Have you weighed your nugget ??? remember each gram of 9kt gold is worth over 20 dollers.
Anyway make sure you have a strong chain.

Over the last 45yrs or so collected a bit of gold jewelry..... thats all I can wear because of an allergy.
Its quite suprising what you can build up over the years as gold was not all that expensive then.
Crikey..... I am not talking about a lot of gold.

Not used to owning stuff that keeps going up,and with my scales its fun recalculating the scrap gold price per gram.

The price on ebay for scrap gold has gone through the roof.Since I have been following in the price of gold I do believe that this is the safest investment .... wish I had a spare 50 thou about 12 months ago.

No matter what problems that are going on in the world there is one thing you can bank on and that is Gold.Its so reliable...... the worse things get the more it rises to the top.

There are so many sharks out there trying to buy scrap gold.

If like me over the years you build up broken and unwanted gold Jewelry and it gets forgotten about About 12months ago I purchased some gram scales to weigh it and was very pleased with how much I had accumulated over the years.

Since then every month or so I check the scrap gold price and every day in the paper...it rarely disappoints me.

Online I always use a gold firm in Melbourne to check the prices for scrap gold.


Its W Davis and Son they are the benchmark cant find any better in Aus .

So ladies search around for any old gold Jewelry as they are paying.

over $20 per gram for 9 k gold.
$31 .... ...... .......14 .. .....
$40 .... ..... .......18... .....
And so on its very detailed and easy to find on their site.It is good to search around and see what you can find.

You would think that the that the sheer pain does not slow him down at all,thats the prob with these dogs as the work ethic is so strong in some of them that they just keep going blindly.....thier own worst enemy.But the main thing is that he has been loved all his life.

Hi Faithe I understand completely.... Shane my year old Golden could not barely walk a few years back as he is riddled with arthritis... this guy is very very special he has been my rock,through everything... he is convinced he is human and I am His responsibility.
Anyway I am using this anti inflammatory and painkiller called Metacam it is a liquid and he is pain free,it is one of the safest drugs out there.There is a medication also that can be injected into the joint to cushion the bone again.Your Vet I would think already know's about this but Just In Case,as a lot of this stuff is used for the horse racing world.

The Metacam is pricey for dogs but I purchased the horse strength which is more concentrated and cost effective I only give him .3 of a mil a day.He has been on it for 3yrs.

My vet gave me a sample to try and it worked great.Just a thought.....here is another one to think about and only as a last resort ! you could have the offending leg amputated if the other one is ok. its funny dogs seem to cope very well.I suggest this only if its a life or death situation and his type of breed can live to about 15 or 16 yrs.

I know with Shane I would do it in a heartbeat as he loves life so much, but then again it all comes down to the quality of life and each case is different as your guys other leg might be going as well.

Thank you Serene to tell the truth I am pretty upset about it just got back from the Vet she is quite young and wanted to operate tomorrow for gods sake and he hasent even matured yet.
Checked on the web and I did make the right choice.

So very glad to see your little dogs are on the mend girls, it looks like my Goldie pup is a Monorchid been keeping an eye on him for a while hoping it would descend but no such luck.I can feel it but its too late now he is 7 months and the gap would have closed.

Will leave it till he is 12 months then get him done ...if I dont he runs an increased risk of getting cancer.Its a shame as none of my male dogs over the Years have needed it,its good that he is a pet only as could never ever send him back.(who could).

I just hate sending a hale and hearty dog to the vet for this invasive op,but has to be done..no other choice.

Oh my dear Kizzy aggresive and out of context ,I would love to bring a few of the past members back who would accuse you of the very same thing and so much worse.

One thing I am sure of is some members might say about me here she goes again..... but they know it has never been done with malice, I love this forum and we really have some terrific members on here now,I do not like it when I see any semblance of bullying or pushing on here, bad memories of a very different forum I suppose, never come across anything like it with adults, it resembled very mean schoolyard didnt it Kizzy.

Those were the names I picked for my Throughbred Fillies. My Sienna became a top racehorse and went on to win several group 2 and 3 races magical times,a truly wonderful and kind filly.

Will always miss her.

Oh hi Kizzy how are you? I am just replying to Daggy Ones post to me that my advice is Utterly Useless and my posts are Crap! as I am sure you noticed.

I took offence to that as he took it opon himself to insinuate that it was the opinion of everyone on this forum.Yes I do come on strong when I think it is needed... that way I do not let things fester and simmer like some.

I just think it is such a shame that you did not point out the same thing to a friend of yours a little while back! if you had I think it might have helped. JMO anyway
