RE: whatever that's happening today happends for a reason

Any thing bad is up to us to right. God will stand with us when we move forward. Based on our own choices, He won't interfere.

If he does decide to help directly other than body and spirit; will we know for certain it was Him?

The parable of the wheat with tares comes to mind.

We were never promised no hardships, conflicts, or woes. I think we were warned of the exact opposite with the possibilities that we could experience very little strife through faith, works, and obedience.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

I like most of it.
The part on education has already been partially reformed leaning more toward apprenticeship. That's a lot better than just handing money over for "higher education?".

There are many things we do knowingly when it comes to finances and such. Supposedly to save money, make a better life, self improvement, etc. It doesn't deserve a federal over payment. I can't side with the boo-hooers on education. I and other family members have or are currently working their butts off through college and paying out of pocket. Yes, accruing debt to have better opportunities in the long term that we know has to be paid back.

Businesses have a chance to grow and expand. If pay roll and personal income tax is the largest part of revenues, why would you hinder that?

The tax bracket for $1million or more income hasn't come down much in the house bill.

The break down of itemization of what they want, doesn't cover the wording of the bill that will allow other than promised or talked about at later dates. Congress.gov. H.R. for house bills, S. for senate bills.

It will be for nothing if government doesn't get the broad hint that it needs to reign itself in from much of what it's been doing.

RE: Is everyone looking for Mr. or Mrs. perfect?

I'm not so sure I can actually date or much of anything from online. I've been through many profiles over the years. I'm more likely to have a short conversation with a potential scammer than, a possibly real person. It's good to keep trying as no one wants to, or should, close any potential doors. The internet certainly makes me keep a higher state of caution and alertness with all of those "specialty orders" floating around.

I can't bring reality into a virtual life and a virtual life just doesn't work in reality.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

I got excited and left out that the bracket affected would be upper middle class mostly. about $50-74/5K. With the time span that would trickle down to the lower brackets.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

at about 75K and up is when the tax may increase for about 11% of people. I've been reading too. Beware of misinterpretations.

The senate says the hikes are done with wrong math for the tax increase with in about 5 years. They say it has to do with subsidies from the death tax they try calling healthcare. I say B.S. The senate bil shows increases and they can take their tar and feathers with the pride they don't have. Beware of the senate bill. It has more of a demonrat touch and the demonrats can smell it. Their own tactics now being used as tool to against.

The house bill wants to make cuts permanent so that a demonrat congress can't come back to easily raise them again.

There are two bills that they have to some how combine into one.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

One of the biggest variables that hurt any country the most is their own government over spending and making deals with out long term consideration. That's just a reasonable part of the economic portion. That doesn't account for many other things bad and sometimes, good.

Power and control starts to take precedence over who and what they're supposed to represent. True, it is almost impossible to avoid debt altogether. It's more true, that with reasonable measures, debt can be kept manageable with a chance to be out of it once in a while.

Current employment numbers haven't seemed to change much. Still all positive job growth and hurricane season has certainly taken it's toll on employment numbers potential. Some where around 1-2 million back in the work force.

Job markets are going to depend on opportunity and expansion. Even now some markets are complaining about the changes that will effect stocks or other types of investments and investors. Somehow, they've managed to miss the tax cuts that will be given for businesses(still to be fully defined by size,etc.). No way to say for certain how they will off-set each other yet. The cuts just don't seem to be taken into consideration for the type of complaints.

Interestingly enough, the proposed breaks for companies to bring their "assets" back to the states and other breaks for money made outside of the U.S. is pretty reasonable. "Stay here or come back and grow,we'll tax that, but won't tax you for what you make and do in other countries". At least that's how I understand it in a nut shell.

The 38-39+% tax bracket(s) for the rich seems to be staying intact for both bills. Maybe a cut to 33, I lost track for full accuracy after about an hour. Two separate bills but I won't say they are consistent. They could become complimentary of each other with the right revisions.

I'm thinking they're going to try pushing something through quickly and it could blunder with out constant review and revision. It won't be as bad as the obozocare has been but it could still hurt.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

The house has passed a tax plan and the senate has passed a plan or still arguing on one. Some cuts permanent. Some on time line to keep the cap.

All still need refinement but the senate plan shows future tax increases on the middle class. Doesn't seem much is permanent but time lined. Some of the increase is said to be misuse of the cut for mandates on health insurance. Still talks about the excise tax set to take effect next year..etc.

How long do you think they will argue to come with a full bill? got tired of going through the bill at the site. It does cut a lot of "fat" being collected from the government at tax payer expense now. Not all and it does still need work but at least a frame work is in the running.

One particular article I skimmed was the only one to mention that no proposals to government cuts to their own spending has been made to help meet the "budget" caps they are supposed to stay under over the next 10 years.

Yes indeed. People in power have had decades to refine and work on these very things and more, to make and maintain a standard. So wrapped up in power struggles and control, we the people haven't mattered much until recently. Now, more than ever, both parties are in trouble with the voter bases, and now they seem almost like deer in the head lights of a vehicle.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

RE: USA's Tax Reform

What about the other tax brackets? Why no hype on those? Because stupid people love being brainwashed.

We don't know what the full outcome will be for certain until something is done. That means putting a bill together in congress, passing it, then sending it to the U.S. president. Continually holding, raising, or imposing MORE taxes isn't the answer.

Or does the 1.5% growth rate or less, with an almost doubled national deficit, escape any actual reasoning and common sense?

RE: IS (CS) A VASTLY LEFT SITE??

I don't go through or read every single thread. Some are already long that I do read and don't read every single post.

Still many others that I just read.

I don't worry too much about a lot of comments from out side of the U.S. and generally won't comment at all on most things out side of the U.S.

I don't live in those places and just not versed enough to bother. I do like what many might have to say about their respective areas though. I just can't say any yea's or nays on much of it.

It's still a waiting game to see what the actual outcomes will be in the long run for many things. Situations have been going in better directions for the economy in the U.S. since 2017 so far. Foreign policy is still being worked out but we're not in actual war with Assad like "others" wanted. Iraq is winning instead of holding off against isis. Trump has some how managed, at least that how it seems, to get China helping with N.Korea and that could be a good thing. We haven't had many leaders step aside to try letting some one else help with situations. I just hope the educational standards will start to climb back up soon too. We've been doing pretty bad since the late 80's and early 90's.

It seems Trump is being blamed for Afghanistan's opium problem. That's a local matter they should be dealing with. We aren't and weren't there for their drug problems(any factions fought back against, related to any of it is just a bonus). That would require some actual policy changes to be put into writing to help protect the U.S. and more. Still fighting isis as well as the taliban.

I don't really worry about how far left much. I just want things to keep moving in a more forward direction instead of backwards. They'll either hold hate no matter what; or they'll see the differences with greater understanding of then and now.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

It's not my fault people are stupid enough to make a hype over things that have already happened that they conveniently ignore.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

There's certainly a lot less competition when it's harder for smaller companies and people to compete. Look at the mergers and buy outs that took place under obozo. There were many in health care alone along side the many fall outs.

Energy markets were favored. Tax, fine, and regulate the ones they didn't want but government subsidize the others. Where'd the money for those "subsidies" come from while hurting millions of other families on the other side of THAT cronyism? That falls under government subsidized growth. Some of those markets can't survive with out them, and not sure they ever will.

Yet people talk about cronyism and more as it was already happening. It's past time for tax reform and I would love to see the feds with less money to waste on all of these subsidies where they shouldn't even be involved at all.

Macro and micro economics are controversial for a reason. It's because foreign and domestic policies DO affect how they work and turn out. Also too vast of an area to be reliable. The controls measured become questionable.

Even as there have been periods already, of more growth than expected, how many periods under obozo, continually, under performed? How did so many "economists" get it wrong about trade?

RE: Which type of threads and blogs do you prefer

I vote other. Any I don't prefer, I try to avoid. Let the threads roll no matter what they are. No one can make you read or participate in a thread.

Or can they? devil

RE: TERRORISM, A GREAT STRATEGY FOR MANIPULATION AND DISTRACTION

You describe some of the tools used for marxism. Reminds me of the obozo years. It's sad but there is a large part of the population globally, that will succumb to it as politicians, other leaders, and even corrupt legal systems, play the cards.

With those hands, the rise of anarchy and other forms of domestic terrorism rise. Of course, the players, find other things to blame, twist, and even "rationalize" with. Smaller populations with solid guidelines are harder to brainwash. We have a global population with well over 7.5 billion people. That's a number that is quite a bit easier to divide and play, section by section.

Don't look for it to change too much any time soon. If any thing is going to get better for the future, it's most likely to get a lot worse first. Maybe some form of population control is in effect that we're unaware of. People will give their reputations and more up to help push political marxism in spite of notable corruption these days.

World leaders and representatives are at the top of the human food chain. As long as they're continually well paid, people and solid guidelines don't seem to matter much. They're just more ammunition for the fires they want to feed. It helps them keep a different form of control.

RE: How Old Is Too Old To Become A Dad, In Your Opinion!

Something more stable than meeting a younger woman that wants to have their child should be a major consideration.

Over all circumstances could and should help dictate. At that age, being around for the child should be a major concern among other things as the child gets older.

To try considering it as as question is presented; I'd say yes. Mid 60's is far too old. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

Under obozo, they really were getting richer since there was less chance of competition to come up. They could already weather the taxes, regulations and more, where many of the smaller guys couldn't.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

More B.S. as they ignore tax brackets. They're losing loop holes and THAT would be their biggest worry.

Let them write. It's not just one bracket. It's all of them. But they only need to single out one for people to suddenly become stupid enough to buy into it all. Why weren't they writing to obozo as he was tearing down any chance of economic growth while raising taxes, regulations, fines, and mandates, and other costs?

It's almost impossible to take many of these seriously sine they were often saying the opposite at times during obozo.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

My article stated what I said from the beginning. There's a lot to be reformed.

There's nothing that's going to cater to the rich or hurt the working class in any thing they're twisting so far. The rich even stand to be hit a little harder in the markets. You know; Wall street?

Even when Trump returns to his properties roughly 7 years from now( he stated he only wanted one term but we'll see), many of the loop holes he's had will be gone if they follow through with some of those proposals. That's going by some of what's being picked and twisted to this point so far with nothing actually drawn up, voted on, or even remotely ready be signed or vetoed.

Of course, I generally work my deductions through out the year to match my returns fairly closely which means I'm already used to living on my income instead of government over payment for things that shouldn't be payed out on in the first place. With some of the current proposals,if they stay, I'll just get to keep a little more in my pocket each pay period. It would be nice to not have bonuses and other pay outs not being taxed around 39%.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

I've already been over them with you in the past. Even told you how to read the charts in the primary three sectors of the U.S. dot gov site. I've been there many times.

If the U.S. government wasn't so wasteful with those parasites in charge, odds are we wouldn't have had an almost doubled deficit under obozo. We would have had tax cuts, growth, government cut backs, immigration reform according to our laws already in place, and every thing else the terrorist campaigned on. That is okay. For some one to actually start doing something in those continual campaign promises almost every "president" makes, is absurd and unacceptable. Congress still has to come up with the bill for a president to veto or sign.

Military spending is only about 13% or less except maybe during war.

If you're so, concerned about U.S. elections and taxes, where they can spout garbage about a bill that doesn't exist yet when for eight years all their claims have already happened under a worthless piece of crap, you should quote from the dot gov site instead of propagating with the rest.

By the way. how do you talk about a plan that doesn't exist yet when it comes to taxes? Not a single article has stated then vs. now. Nor do they address debt from the continued spending that shouldn't be. Taxes went up, debt went up and more under obozo. Time to start undoing all of that and people are having a fit over it.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

Again. more practiced B.S. I guess all that spending, taxing, over regulating, fining, and mandating doesn't add any thing to debt right? All those government give a ways don't add to debt? So how did we go from about $8- maybe $10 trillion dollars or so, around 2009, to about $19 almost 20 trillion dollars going into 2017?

People are so sick in the head, they can't even see or admit what's right in front of them long before now.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

20-25% of millions vs. thousands. Billions vs. millions. which ever combination you choose; which is more? The investment options available for growth and expansion will help the unemployed, and even the "poorly educated" if they choose. It may even help spur wage increases. I'm in the same bracket of 25% as it stands right now. Any paid, unused, vacation time is taxed at the top end of about 39%. My pay out in taxes will go down by about 11-13% with the top end I can earn a little higher before it goes up again under the new, POTENTIAL, proposal. Yes, all current brackets will drop from what they currently pay in taxes at the moment.

We don't get to deduct interest on a lot of things unless we itemize. Interest is interest. A loop hole closed that no one can use. Real-estate is a large, abundant commodity that has to be sold or used to make any type of profits. So they might have to actually lower prices and rates to move the product through. Why should any one pay a tax for inheritance? They're still going to be paying taxes on properties, businesses, or even liquidations of such. They're still going to be paying taxes on reported income no matter what the source. It's not going to be so specialized that they can be gouged more than once.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

Not every state is going to cut it's own throat by turning down more jobs. Just the democratic controlled ones trying to convince people that it's Trump's fault.

I do believe the President of the U.S. still has broad authority over trade, tariffs, and agreements approval in the U.S....he does have jurisdiction.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

What do they know? They're about to be partially capped.

See that "real-estate" part in the tax plan? It's going to help drive down the prices of real-estate to something more affordable for more people. This method won't create a "bubble" to crash later. The fact that unemployment is down and job markets are going up instead of away, helps strengthen that.

Just a small example. How many of that 1% are heavily invested and vested in the markets as well as their own commodities? They're not getting away unscathed but certainly a little scared that some one has the sense to get them where they might hide and grow the most.

RE: USA's Tax Reform

It's still in refinement and it looks like a lot of Trump's proposals have been removed and redefined by the house and senate. Any bill that generates revenue has to originate from the legislative branch. Until it's fully finished and into affect, we won't know much for certain in the long run. There are still fines and other taxes that need to be addressed.

Businesses will lose a lot of loop holes. Their taxes will be more cut and dried which means less complication with laws or work around. They're losing "write offs". Big deal. Isn't that what people wanted? for them to get less of a return with fewer loop holes? ( even though it's a really small percentage of government revenues).

People won't have as much of a chance to get back more than they pay in, is what I see so far. We might actually have to learn to live more on our incomes instead of receive some type of annual over payment. It also looks like they raised the level of income required to fit into many of those brackets. We can make more with less pay out in taxes. Child deductions are still there in some form so it won't hurt as much for families as they might make it sound. It looks as though they actually propose making it so both parents can claim a return on a child(divided families in mind here? The U.S. has a ton of those). What it means is that more in our pockets, paycheck to paycheck, with a lot less over payment in taxes. Will this help fix the professional welfare recipients, that some how manage up to thousands of dollars in returns, they've not contributed a single penny into? We have potentially, tens of millions of those.

They can't really project growth as much as we'd like so the predicted outcomes are yet to be seen. How many politicians talk about and address "hedge funds" and such? Bernie campaigned on them plus more and the people went wild with out knowing what he was talking about. They wouldn't have moved hardly at all then; so where's any potential complaint now? In comparison, the tax bracket barriers are just lowered, maybe fewer, so that margins won't be much different. The federal government's largest revenues are from personal income and pay role tax. It still looks like they're keeping the higher end bracket pretty close to what it is now for the 1% over all( with less loop holes). I'm not seeing much that would stop growth or even any markets from moving.

I don't see any thing that cuts government spending. THAT is truly the hurdle that needs to be over come. I love how some articles talk about projected losses but rarely address the actual over spending already being done. How can they even mention "losses" with out addressing the wasteful spending?

About $1 trillion dollars or so a year, is most likely a loss in the way it's spent by the government. Severe over spending has been going on for decades already. It needs to be stopped. You can't talk about one aspect of the spectrum with out taking the other end into account.

RE: Trump -Target of Mueller's Investigation

Actually, we don't know mueller's full involvement and extent with hillary. If they're going to ignore the measures the DNC took to undercut Sanders, and this "dossier" still keeps popping up that is still unverified, yet it seems the clinton campaign took extra measures to "secure" it to create investigations, it could mean that mueller is actually conducting an erroneous investigation for which he himself should be indicted for.

Technically, we can't even prove at our levels that the democrats haven't fabricated Russian attacks with their previous abuses of power and and technology that are already known. the obozo years weren't known for being legal for or against the people or certain "party" members. With primarily democrat control, it ALL went unpunished and unanswered for.

So there's nothing to trust at any angle until something positive happens against the agencies and people that abused their positions. We're still waiting and there's nothing about mueller that makes him honorable for any thing. Every thing still points more to the clintons but he's still trying to shift the target in the direction HE wants. We can't trust something ignoring select evidence to push a controled direction to what they want it to be. All or none, there can't be an in between to push what you want and call it "justice", "fairness", or even lawful.

RE: THE URANIUM DEAL WITH RUSSIA SHOULD BE A CRIME

Crimea tried emancipating itself back around 1992 and some how Ukraine ended back up in the paper work.

They also have a larger Russian population. Reading through some of their back history, there are some indications that Ukraine has been suppressing them off an on through the years. Crimea was "gifted" to Ukraine and the people had no say then since it was under old communist Russian rule.

Other reports also indicated that the President of Ukraine was going to either kick Russians out and Russia itself, out of the Crimean sea ports are start charging horrendous fees. Not a good move with country so close that there is already a working relationship with. With a larger Russian population and militarily critical ports, Russia has reason and cause for concern on many levels.

I'm more inclined to think Crimea is more of where it wants to be.

RE: THE URANIUM DEAL WITH RUSSIA SHOULD BE A CRIME

Meanwhile obozo swears to ukraine they are a sovereign nation and ally that we will help as he did nothing for them....rolling on the floor laughing

The facts speak for themselves. Taking the U.S.'s sovereignty away with taxes. fines, regulations, and mandates while claiming some one else as soveriegn. Looks like every one's been getting the shaft but terrorists and other enemies.

RE: Trump -Target of Mueller's Investigation

If the uranium one investigation goes on like it should( depends on Gowdy's dog and pony show this time a round), mueller himself would be indicted which could, potentially end any and all other investigations he's trying to pull. This would mean that he did in fact travel to Russia, etc. Will they fully investigate?

As far as any "testimony" against Trump, like the "dossier", it has to be verifiable and proven. Hear- say generally doesn't hold up well in an actual court of law. Then we have to consider we're dealing with the party of communists calling themselves "democrats". Just like the investigation against Trump where they have nothing, they have to keep pulling things out of their arses to keep the weak minded glued to the sets and continue to act like they do.

There is far more against the party of communist terrorist supporters than any thing against Trump, going untouched.
I'll use Gowdy as an example since he's making some headlines at the moment.

I'm thinking Gowdy is just another side act like his last one where nothing serious is going to happen even though they have the authority to put any one on the stand. Look at how much has been stalled with the clinton emails alone and more.

So many people cheered for Gowdy thinking he did and was doing a great job with Benghazi. So much government cover up and interference that it went no where and full authority was never exercised in the manner it should have been. That's what I expect would come out of any uranium one investigations unless ALL of the obozo/hillary cronies are fully removed.

Beware of Gowdy and most of the party calling itself "republicans". Most of them don't even know what a REPUBLIC is and what they're jobs are actually supposed to be. The party of communists calling themselves democrats can pull indictments out of thin air with illegal taps, unverifiable dossiers, and more. These so-called "republicans" can't even seem to locate "air". There's more than enough on record and even accidentally on record that none of it should be an issue to pursue, but I don't trust Gowdy for much more than another dog and pony show mouth piece.

The U.S. won't go down with out firing a shot. It will go down because it ignored the shots already fired.

RE: THE URANIUM DEAL WITH RUSSIA SHOULD BE A CRIME

Do you ever have any thing actually worth saying?

Most loyal Americans at the present time can't stand most of the democrats, obozo, hillary, or many of the politicians claiming to be republican. Most can't strand the legal circus show playing out as the party of criminals still can't verify a "dossier" funded by the clinton campaign.

Enjoy that uranium one investigation and here's to hoping this time, hillary. obozo, and cronies go down like the titanic. No one else offered a "reset" button or received special funding for their foundation, let alone hundreds of thousands of dollars for speeches performed by their spouse. It's pretty obvious where the real "collusion" is and has been all along. No one else offered more flexibility after the elections.

No one else pulled or held back in Poland either. OOPSS!!..there went Crimea.....

Kind of like the rise of ISIS knowing what would happen pulling out of Iraq and leaving mercenary forces with the embassy instead of U.S. combat troops.
