RE: Fox will not carry the Jan. 6 Committee Hearings. Hmmmmmm!

pelosi and cronies should be the ones on trial. they refused security because they could use any thing that happened politically.

RE: Fox will not carry the Jan. 6 Committee Hearings. Hmmmmmm!

with all the video taken, why aren't they airing all of it instead of cherry picking.

RE: "You can't even go to a store, you can't even go to school, now you can't go to the doctor?"

yes they know something, how to continue to hurt the u.s. and it's citizens.

How does inflation affect the US dollar?
Inflation increases the price of goods and services over time, effectively decreasing the number of goods and services you can buy with a dollar in the future as opposed to a dollar today.

yes, let's strengthen the ruble and who knows? it may rank right up there with other currencies in quick time poising itself to replace the dollar.

The renminbi is the official currency of the People's Republic of China and one of the world's reserve currencies, ranking as the eighth most traded currency in the world as of April 2019. measurements in Yuan, unit of account of the country's economic and financial system.

doesn't seem to far back considering the euro and such.

you don't call some one an enemy then strengthen them, unless you're in collusion with them.

RE: "You can't even go to a store, you can't even go to school, now you can't go to the doctor?"

plain and simple. demonrats are just that; RATS. crime and illegal immigrayion spikes. every thing bad of the u.s. spikes under them.

every chance they get, it's towards political gain. they don't care about the people or the country. how much chaos can they create and how many bad situations fed from it all can they twist to their favor? can they use them to take more rights away from the people? how many laws, amendments, and rights can they twist to make people thing they don't exist?

RE: Another school shooting? Oh My!

most states require 21 to purchase a handgun. a back ground check is required in all.

many states allow 18 years of age for rifles because that is a primary fire arm for hunting in many forms. including but not limited too shotguns. the 5.56 round used by the U.S. military is pretty much the same round as a .223.

ammunition magazine and clip capacities DO NOT deter or stop anything. people just carry more of them.

RE: Another school shooting? Oh My!

armalite rifles and their type ARE NOT assault rifles.

m-16s, ak-47's,- those are true assault rifles and examples of such. they can fire fully automatic. THAT is what an assault rifle is. primarily weapons used by militaries and certain u.s. law enforcement agencies.

RE: Another school shooting? Oh My!

i already know what the laws in texas allow. no assault rifles are available to the general public in any state.

how about that government that beeefs up it's own security how ever it wants when ever it wants yet denies those same securities to certain institutions and functions?

ever think of that? of course not. parrots only speak what they're told.

RE: Another school shooting? Oh My!

there are no assault rifles readily available to the public. you don't even know what ans assault rifle is and should probably not type any thing.

RE: Any hummingbird fans out there?

on another note, i'm not certain why those birds zoom through and around sometimes.

thinking about it, is it possible you might have better luck developing a green thumb? nectar is certainly an attraction for more than just bees. humming birds have a special design to them for brunching on such.

RE: Another school shooting? Oh My!

it's not the gun. ask congress why they're willing to beef up armed security and more for themselves but not our schools?

they help encourage violence and riots. until it gets closer to them. then they blow it out of proportion for political gain. they'll talk about control that isn't needed before they'll talk about protecting and serving in the manners it should.

RE: Any hummingbird fans out there?

i wish i could help you. not sure if it's my area or what. i'm pretty lucky that sometimes they just hover around the deck at times. even when i'm outside in plain view. not sure if it's the same few or not.

i don't feed any animals. it could quickly turn bad with animals we should never feed. bears for example, instead of deer and such.

RE: Say .... Nothing, ... STF Up Thread #2

wave popcorn grin

RE: Trump backed Vance wins in Ohio .

i still think there are at least a couple of people in other states he's made a mistake of endorsing. he did try having people from both sides of aisle before. look how many turned out to be poisonous.

even trump needs to step carefully. the first round was just a taste. the next round could turn into a more permanent attempt.

clinton body count ring a bell to any one for example ?

RE: HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO MAKE A GOOD/GREAT ‘FIRST IMPRESSION’ (esp. in the dating game)?

many will be on their reasonably best "game" the first couple of times at the least.

does that make them a quality person in the long haul?

i'd rather fully presentable and real as a person from the start.

it's hard for me to fake being a conversationalist when my real nature is pretty quiet over all, and semi-focused. semi-active. i work a lot.

so what should i expect another to be? we don't even really know what we want or looking for until it's in front of us in some manor.

unless major alarms go off from the start or not drawn in certain ways, we won't know until given or giving a reasonable chance. have to try to know yay or nay.

RE: US GDP shrunk by --1.4 % , inflation at 8 %

i have to laugh at those o'biden supporters trying to post record highs and such. record high appraisals of crap too.

the truth is, when certain major corporations are gaining while the consumer base and more are losing, it's more like record fraud.

lost some on my 401k. then again, i knew that was going to happen as soon as the election was boosted.

RE: Why is America so scared of Elon Musk buying Twitter?

i've read through the comments.

it's already been mentioned repeatedly i think.

it's hard to convince people what a threat to democracy and free speech is when there's a platform that actually encourages and allows it.

if elon musk owned twitter,he'd open up the platform. little to zero censorship.

how would people be able to call him a threat when his platform allows for open discussion and debate?

that is why twitter has taken action to discourage a hostile take over after refusing the buy out. the bottom line is, people will know what a threat to democracy and free speech is, because twitter will tell them and the sheep will bleat and believe. every thing else will stay censored. mean tweets with factual information mean nothing if they can't be read.

there are many reasons i don't have twitter, facebook, or any other social media platform. the fact that i can research and think for myself are just a couple of them.

RE: How do you handle finances when you are in a M relationship?

i think many have lost quite a bit in marriage turned divorce. i think many of us have already been married at least once. maybe some would like to remarry at some point

joint account for the household and not full joint accounts was a saving factor.

didn't care about giving the houses up.

i can buy a house one last time when i find one i want with in reason. the only way any one will be getting that one is in a will after i'm dead and buried.

2 adult kids. they're gonna have to liquidate every thing then split it.

then there is the other thing i hope many take into consideration. if you are in a relationship, you did have a partner to be considered as well.

time is a factor here. each has to think and decide for their own circumstance. if you're in a long term relationship but forego marriage, will you take your significant other into account as well?

we talk and consider things as if we'll be around forever at times. that's simply not the case in the long run.

RE: feelins do you trust tem?

i primarily trust my instincts. feelings should be carefully examined and kept in check. emotional actions and re-actions can often lead to ill effects and results.

RE: How do you handle finances when you are in a M relationship?

actually, his and her banks and accounts of choice.

one joint for the household costs which both put into and both signatures required. basic utilities split the costs. one each in each name. electric mine, gas bill hers. joint lease for renting. any other "splurges" related to the household discussed and split accordingly.

just remove or transfer one if things change. joint account can be split or walked away from. all other accounts are still personal and intact.

no. not married. most likely never will be again.

even a long term relationship and arrangement should reflect two.

RE: What Should Happen as a Result of the Chris Rock Will Smith Oscars Incident?

i've read pretty much all of them.

can't see the fuss. so much more and worse happens with little to zero coverage. no where near as much prevention or punishments these days. a lot more people from all over. we don't hear or see a fractions of it over all. we don talk about much. hard to when many areas lapse in law and enforcement.

"celebrities", make spectacles of themselves on television, and it seems people lose their minds to a degree over some of the mildest things. their chosen professions push some of those very things for entertainment and a paycheck. awards? ceremonies of different types and celebrations. in this case, a joke and a slap that wasn't scripted.

why fuss? or question? it happened. even some of my news feeds try showing telling videos of jada and will's initial re-actions and many other things of how their married life might be, that helped lead up to it.

deleted of course. more important things to worry about then people in the lime light showing just how human they really are.

do we forget that entertainers are just people too? they can live above most things, including legal fees if need be. even if their careers are damaged, most won't really be hurt if they have to "retire" a little early.

RE: What Should Happen as a Result of the Chris Rock Will Smith Oscars Incident?

i haven't censored anything.

i'm just stating how none of the fuss makes any sense.

physical assault all over the place. most aren't any where near as mild.

RE: What Should Happen as a Result of the Chris Rock Will Smith Oscars Incident?

no ripple effect. they are just people. like every one else.because they hold a title of celebrity status makes them no different. if any thing, more proof they are just people and prone to the same as any one else might be.no different except they made the spotlight.

what about all the things similar and worse every day through out the globe? you know nothing because you hear nothing. they haven't been given any importance.

because television gives it importance, doesn't make it any more or less special. the three primary factors are still the only ones that can decide the final outcome(s).

RE: What Should Happen as a Result of the Chris Rock Will Smith Oscars Incident?

what are we actually learning from it? like many things and people, if it wasn't such high profile, we'd know nothing about it. and therefore, would care less.

it's not a we, personal, or national problem. it's "their" problem. between will, chris, and the awards board, "they" have to sort it out and each partially decide for themselves, the next course. Legal? freindship? guilt? embarrassment and more.

RE: What Should Happen as a Result of the Chris Rock Will Smith Oscars Incident?

i'm not sure charges for the assualt should actually be pressed. there are much harsher assaults that take place hurting much more than pride. law isn't necesssarily the answer to every thing. especially when a lot more major things aren't even enforced much in some areas.

i say that because growing up, on occasion, one might end up in fisticuffs with a friend and shake hands again later. or actually manage to gain a friend through such. i can't explain how that happens but on occasion, it does. nothing about chris and will went any where near that far.

chris still states he's processing things in spite of what many might have heard. instead of us worrying about what should be done, which is irrelevant no matter what our opinions are, maybe we should let them decide

RE: Could it really be "back to normal", now that Covid is no longer a serious threat?

things won't get back to normal.

there are enough strains of covid that the government can play it for decades if we let them. never know when the next time the U.S. will decide it needs mass mail in voting and such to win an, otherwise, unwinnable election.

excessive death studies, and other types, have begun. so far it's looking more like government shutdowns and policies might have created much more harm then the virus ever would have. every thing bad increased while every thing good.

the sad part is that they are still trying to push more harmful policies on children, the least threatened of all. except for the government trying to force vaccinate and mask them. when the numbers don't match the hype, especially on a global scale, it's past time to question every thing.

the vast majority of the time, when government says it's for your own good, they're lieing so they can support their own purposes and goals.

RE: Could you like/not like/hate someone that you don't know?

hate is more reserved for other things in life. not the general public. so far, no one online through the years.

it may not be feelings to like some one. here in cs it might just be that they have a nice profile. some even have photos to go with it.

some you might already be familiar with in the forums and blogs.

some all look the same. the squiggly outlines used to indicate male or female. can't get much more even than that visually.

RE: We need to make more babies or civilization will End.... The biggest threat to mankind?

interestingly enough, i think inflation and other terrible things going on help to ensure that many people want less to zero children in the current day.

now that he's a majority share holder of twitter and probably on the board of directors soon, he can adopt a small army of children for starters.

he can certainly afford them much better than the majority of the population.

RE: Martial law

i know there are some heavy restrictions for security reasons. egypt upholds them too.

there are reasons. good reasons. how much is fully explained to the palistinians or are they taught other things as bad things keep taking place?

RE: Martial law

gaza was returned. can probably forget about the west bank.

there is enough there for peace talks for both. in any leader's refusal to uphold or renegotiate agreements, they will find something to push on to the people.

there is always something not being fully disclosed. the palistinians need to denounce certain other "groups" and keep them out.

RE: Martial law

i apologize ali110.

i tried to avoid it but your thread did become hijacked any way.hijack

would still rather see what others think of martial law.
