They are soldiers being used as pawns. Some put their time in and get out once they decide what's better for them selves. Others stay and hope they are doing a service for their respective countries or regions. There are military personnel that have put so much time in, they stay regardless in the hopes of collecting retirement.
They don't make very much for what they do and were originally intended for. By comparison, it makes most other positions and professions severely, grossly, over paid. They literally, have put their lives on the line for their regions. Terrorism being an immediate threat with politics continually woven through out.
People that have the freedoms they have in any nation or country; can thank their military. Some of them with the aid of other countries and/or nations.
Sadly; there are places under the thumb of their military. A reverse of what many might envision armed forces are for.
Whether people like it or not; if mankind itself weren't so power hungry, hateful,selfish and destructive; There wouldn't be a need for so many countries to have armed forces. They do serve a purpose. Many through the centuries have paid the ultimate price.
I don't rate photos. In this site; it has to be just for the forums because there really aren't many here near me.
What am I saying? I don't use these sites they way they're intended for. I don't like feeling like I'm hiding behind a computer screen for "interviews". Or even for "interviewing".
I must say though; the scammers might be evolving a little. Somewhat harder to tell with some.
There are many different fields that may provide opportunities for people to become business owners or just their own boss in general.
They will have different requirements according to their products and/or services. Operating costs and other over head will vary greatly on these factors and more.
With some of the current taxes and overhead being forced in the U.S.; it's not something I would venture any more.
I do have the schedule I want. I don't have the headaches of crew management, production, quality...etc. I have the health insurances,payed vacation, and holidays. Okay, so my annual pay is a little over 1/2 of what it used to; I have time for family and a life that I didn't have before. My off time is truly off time.
If a person is in a relationship; why bother much with social media much at all?
Actions speak louder than words. It must not be that much of a relationship after all.
In a relationship, the last thing I would want to do to someone, is cast doubt on the sincerity of the chosen status quo. One of the first things I wouldn't do, is waste any more time with some one that is.
It's partial human psychology that is required for a family pet. Even in the wild, an animal would not be ostracized unless it's on it's death bed and/or becoming more of a burden or trouble, than an asset. It would be put in it's proper place in the order of things. It would be made to sit back until it's time and turn. It would also be included for play time and such. A different tactic and patience, is required since the pet was there first, in a human environment.
You do not want to risk a resentful animal in the home. That resentment, if it grows, can eventually turn on the owner. That is why you would make accommodations and still try to include the pet as reasonable. A pet does become more "humanized" and it is a different process when expanding the home. Owning a pet isn't all about command and control alone.
The dog was already there. Animals can tell,smell, and feel things people can't, on different levels. It doesn't mean the woman is bad. There just may be something that they will never get along well. They are generally pack animals with a pecking order. Jealousy is also a strong trait so it may feel threatened.
I would make accommodations for my pet and hope things smooth out. I would pay close attention to how the woman works with the situation. Don't ever try forcing an animal to like you but do be courteous and even include them when reasonably possible. If there's a good chance for suitable bonding, it will happen. It needs to happen naturally.
Once an ultimatum is placed out in the open; that's pretty much a no-brainer. Buh-bye..
I feel there are some things I won't allow to be a major requirement or factors in my life. That can often times leave the odd person like myself out.
What's important is to appreciate family, friends, and the time spent with them. Even if it's not much to a lot.
I can't really say much about belonging. Sometimes, with certain choices; what does it mean to "belong"? Being welcomed or even being able to welcome others seems graciously sufficient. We all still have our own lives, homes, and what ever else reality hands to us, to deal with.
Any religion that thinks murder and destruction is ordained by a higher power, is a cult. It's one thing to uphold and defend against oppression. It's quite another to want to be the oppressor where only what you want people to believe and do, is considered right with grounds for genocide.
Even when the Catholic church was murdering and destroying; it was more about romanism and control.
No matter what people express, it will truly always be the peaceful, mostly non-violent ones, that pay the highest price, for ignorance and mankind's lust for power and control.
Religion is just another means to be twisted and used by human nature, to justify wrong. That, is generally wrong in itself by most religions.
I guess it's the down side of not spending much time in front of a television or social media. Even with music and movies; I don't care who stars, hosts, or plays what. I only worry about if I like it. After that; it's done. Songs I'll listen to and movies I might watch again because I forgot seeing it since it's most likely been so long.Occasionally, I might watch movie two or three times on purpose. That's pretty rare though.
The same circumstances would apply no matter what. Interests,other similarities, etc. It's always going to be the person that matters most.
It always sounds good to say it knowing it's the truth. In an actual situation where it's a possibility? I don't know any one with this type of impairment.
If I did, who's to say they would be interested and/or available? It takes two no matter what the circumstances. We worry about if WE would. What about if THEY would with you?
If there is a set value with standards; that is what should be enforced and built up on. It should not be veered away from.
Education was much better when books were used. Just an example. Reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and much more, are severely starting to lack in the U.S. It's a starting reminder of what happens when every thing becomes negotiable instead of held to the values and standards they were intended to build up.
God before government. If it's not of God, it should be stood against. Yes, we are supposed to obey the laws of our land. They should be stood against if they are against God.
It may not be that so many are fake. It's more the fact of the over all environment and settings for it that are fake.
You can't fully interact through a computer screen so neither person really knows what's on the other side. People communicate and things look or sound good. The reality sets in once things become personal. Over time, things may decay due to many reasons. It generally doesn't seem to take too long.
Add that to the fact that there are many silver tongued players, takers, and cheaters. It's a place where walls and barriers are made stronger over time. As people are hurt more, they fold up with in themselves more. Trust becomes a thing of topical discussions along with many other important factors needed in/for a relationship.
It has never made sense to me that people will close themselves off locally in their own areas , yet open themselves up to even greater potential for troubles online. It is possible to find a significant other but the odds can be more against you in such an environment.
The more a person stays connected in real life, and active, the better the odds of finding something long lasting and true. If it doesn't happen, then it doesn't happen. It should be more of a want than a need. Personally, I don't think the hermit in the woods truly wants to be alone. Sometimes it just might be easier to stay that way for some reason or another.
It can be very hard for a person to NOT become jaded after so much over time. Again, we face many different factors and variables that continually shape our ways of thinking and operating according to choices made. How they turn out, good bad or in between, help determine how much more risk or time a person will apply to where and what. Even when.
I still encourage people to try keeping a good attitude. It is possible. It just might take more time and real life factors added to the equations, to increase the odds of better and more reasonable chances. No one should be in a hurry anyway.
Today. 9-6-14. Over all, I have a large family and many of us keep in contact. Today it was my younger sister, over the phone, at the close of our conversation.
There are many reasons each person might have. Persons like myself, wonder why we bother with online any thing. I can function in real life much better than a virtual one. On the other hand, I don't like to rule out other possibilities if they exist.
It's a little harsh to meet people in such an anonymous way. Neither has any real clue of what's on the side of the other. Many I've known have a fear that the real life situation may not be enough for others. They wonder how two completely different environments can be meshed together smoothly from such a void where daily lives don't generally even cross. What kind of changes will it take? Will it be worth the trouble? So much more.
I don't think the views are just about people on the take. Every friend and family member, even my ex-wife, have suffered failure from every internet venture they've tried so far. The longest for a friend was about 2 kids and 12 years long before it crashed, due to the internet even. Go figure.
I think it's the potential book that's exchanged online. It can have a way of clashing with reality. A couple of those friends have finally given up altogether online. I've never really tried to pursue it. With what I've seen and read over the years, I'm not sure that I ever will. If I do, they will have to live awful darn close because actions and time will always speak louder than words or photos.

Back when I tried online gaming; there were two types I enjoyed. Old style dungeons&dragons with the updated graphics and role play. The other type was based on old time sea battles with frigates, schooners, and even pirate ships plundering and sinking their competition or prey. Both types had good times to run. A fair share of "death" for the player too.
One day the nic, "Draegoneer", hit out of the blue. Dragons and buccaneers. I kept it.
I have yet to hear or see and argument for evolution. They all have missing links.
We haven't seen a single thing evolve in 6,000 years except technology. We've seen extinctions, mutations created by man, genetic anomalies, but not one single actual evolvement of a species or organism.
With extinctions alone, there is nothing to take the place of the species. Anything said to have "evolved" has no living relatives they are said to derive from. There are lots of "missing links" though.
With the giant fossils in mountainous areas to back up the great flood, biblical accounts that actually take place during roman periods with generals that really existed and more; I'm more hard pressed to find evidence of evolution.
It is largely political. Yes, there are religious grounds for many extremists. Politics and power will continue to sway things no matter what. There's a lot of oil in that part of the world. It could have ended long ago but people play politics, human lives, world view and standings, money, and power. Playing those cards instead of doing what needs to be done is what makes the world go round. Or so it seems.
There is much more than religion and oil to all of this. Then there are terrorists in power that shouldn't be, fanning the flames all they can world wide. obama.....
I do have 1 or 2 co-workers that like to embarrass me.
In turn, opportunity always arises where the tables are turned.
Is it something malicious or in "fun" to break up the monotony?
That could be the difference. Either way, I will address things accordingly. Bantering back and forth here and there in play or straight forward with them directly if other.
If it requires a straight forward approach, keep it civil. If it can't be handled that way, there may be options of separate work areas...etc.
To me, that means that we have the options of being able to see each other and actually do things together. That's generally a bonus in most cases.
In other scenarios and contexts, it's generally a bonus to most men in other ways and areas too. Long term any thing would be questionable at the least.
It will always depend on the people directly involved no matter what takes place. Or doesn't. Either way, it won't stop most guys from trying.

I have never considered death the end. Not even a new start but more of a transformation from the current state of being.
