RE: Is gun control the solution to these unspeakable tragedies?

It's not all an actual "mental" issue.

The U.S. is a far drop down from it's moral standards and codes.

You can thank government for that. The more the nation pulled away from God's guidelines, the worse it has become.

The educational system isn't even close to what it used to be.

The government allowed it. They will use every thing they can to continually regulate and control every aspect of our lives. That is exactly where they aren't supposed be and not what they should be doing.

How ever, the people are just as guilty in allowing and helping it along. Our laws also allow us to recall representatives and more but we let the slag stay in place. The educational standards drop and drop which also means; with out proper parental guidance and involvement, our youth become mush. That mush is on a mental and physical level. Not a sickness as much as irresponsible leadership at all levels. Throw doctors of all types, drugs, and technology at it so maybe it will go away. That is what seems to be the normal now. Then blame the tool when it's actually the leaders, their "methods", and lack of them, to blame.

We're still fortunate so far, that a larger portion of the population still holds closer to the guidelines. The question still remains as to when the people are going to settle up with the governing bodies to actually raise the standards that need it. More security where needed. The answer is most likely never.

More laws and restriction of rights isn't what we need. Bring back the original foundations that made us strong in the first place and keep them in place. It would still take a couple of decades before the difference became noticeable again.

RE: Is gun control the solution to these unspeakable tragedies?

Stop making more victims and start adding more security. Even instances on military bases have taken place because people that should be armed, aren't.

Laying down and creating more victims isn't the answer. Basically it's like being held at gunpoint with a choice of your money or your life. The twisted mindset is that we should allow room for more lives to be given.

My daughter had a bomb threat at her school the day prior to the shooting. If it would have went wrong; what would gun control laws do? If people want to kill, it can never be stopped or remotely controlled 100%.

There is nothing they can do on gun control that won't help the criminal or even criminally insane. Some of that insanity may even be coming from the pharmaceuticals used to control every thing instead of teaching, raising, and enforcing better character.

RE: Apologies

The same as any bad situation. Distance yourself when and as you can. Be reasonable but keep things short and move forward. It's never taken me years. Only months because they have no rights over me and life is still going to move whether I do or not.

We can't control others. We can control ourselves. No one has to or should ever forget. It's a learning point and more that sometimes cuts deep. Chomping at the bit instead of moving forward, you've relinquished control over yourself and part of your life.

Sooner or later, many of those people tend to bury themselves at some point. Don't gloat with glee should you be lucky enough to witness such an occurrence. Keep the smile inside and move forward.

RE: The U.S. House of Representatives passes h.r. 38 making mandatory reciprocity for all states.

No threats. Just your preferred "interpretation".

RE: The U.S. House of Representatives passes h.r. 38 making mandatory reciprocity for all states.

Awful late in the reply; however

I think it's important that those low life scumbags in office remember that the 2nd amendment was put in place to help protect us against people like them.

Even if they did count social media posts, it's not a threat to any one,for the truth of the existence of the right to bear arms.

There most likely wouldn't have been a U.S. with out it. It does more than to help ensure our protection against our own government. It also makes it a lot harder for foreign invasion. The bottom line meaning of the amendment is: "PROTECTION".

RE: Justice must be served

There isn't any thing the federal government touches that doesn't turn for the worst. Returning more power back over the states is a good start on Trump's part. More needs to be relinquished. If standards are set as high or higher than they once were, it won't accomplish much.

So much damage right out in the open. Ignored, praised, flaunted as "good". Any good scorned as "bad".

Even with the clinton email investigation( with lots of evidence where they let her and others, slide above the law), dossier, the lack of evidence against Trump with an investigation already about four times longer than clinton, and now, the memo; people still can't connect the dots.

They're counting on the dem memo to counter but it will be full of lies and twists. Much like they push amnesty for illegals but keep their constituents and any other citizens they can reach, under thumb, tax, and regulation.

RE: Justice must be served

Obozo wasn't just a puppet. He truly meant to help bring this nation down. I've watched and read many speeches and more. Still more to see. Even Ronald Reagan, through the 50's and 60's.

It's not been a secret about a long term plan of idealism to take down the
U.S. It's just sad so many citizens are continually kept ignorant enough to support it.

Then again, "education" was one of the tools to be used against us.

RE: Justice must be served

Right now, I have a concern on how, potentially several hundred, obozo officials in our federal legal system, as well as obozo and cronies, are going to be rightfully prosecuted. What about congressional activists that helped support it all?

The wall will be a good start on saving lots of money if we can get the monkeys in congress to quit spending what we don't have.

The bad news is, if things ever work again like they're supposed too; it's going to all be spent on political and legal prosecutions. They still have nothing on Trump but the criminalrats go all the way to the top.

RE: Why is Ebay cutting off Paypal

Since I cancelled all types of pay methods other than direct dealings, over a decade ago; I've not been aware of ebay and paypal's working "relationship".

I suppose I may have to follow this thread a little then check with updated information as I still have an ebay account not used in years. I've kept online transactions extremely minimal with all the hype about "hacking" and such floating around.

RE: Justice must be served

It's not your country. You're not being forced to pay taxes, being fined, mandated, or watching your tax dollars fund, equip, train, and deal with enemies while some marxist terrorist supporter rips it apart with race baiting and more. It lead to riots, murders, and physical destruction of others' as well as public properties. There was nothing obozo did for the nation in any positive manner. Even the bail outs were actually drawn up and done under Bush during his last year.

It wasn't your country where we're supposed to kill our little Americans before they're born but pay for the illegal immigrant as there is a little more room now.

It wasn't your country that almost doubled it's national deficit dropped in economic freedom, by 11 points, as hundreds of thousands of jobs were regulated out across our most productive areas. Only about a 1.5% growth rate. It wasn't even a true growth rate.

It wasn't your country watching the corruption play out as chosen elite government agencies were weaponized against citizens while political elites openly got a free pass.

It wasn't your country dropping once again, heavily, in the educational field.

You're way out of your league like many others I've let let slide. When even the clinton news network has to admit Trump as a promise keeper, you've got even less than you started with to argue any points that you obviously, don't have.

A person that had nothing but business related ordeals here and there, with a 98% success rate over all; puts all out there on the line publicly to run for office. Decades of nothing then suddenly all the slurs and lies because he's in a place elites didn't want him to be, says a lot.

The actual results say even more.

RE: Justice must be served

As I sat wondering during the last 3years of the obozo regime, counting down, pondering why our military wouldn't act; I remembered that obozo replaced over 190 top military officials.

RE: Justice must be served

Trump's campaign signaled he knew more than Ben Carson. Ben Carson or Trump were the only two I would vote for, even if I had to write one of them in.

You can't just campaign with "drain the swamp" unless you're aware of much. Trump knew they would find nothing. He also seemed to know that they would reveal much about themselves and their own corruption. It was hillary screaming Russia first even as obozo had already provoked them by about 3 years gone.

Quite honestly, I think the tax payers would have been better off with a military coup against the obozo regime. They tend to be more quick, final, and would have saved us lots of money compared to what it's going to cost us now.

RE: Justice must be served

One of many things I generally don't adhere with using or listening too; but Ithink you meant this?

RE: Justice must be served

Mccain is a side show. It's politics that's wasting our tax dollars on something that wasn't there to begin with.

It will serve the American people just fine if we can get people like mccain, pelosi, boehner even though he's "retired", warren, lorretta, obozo, hillary, mueller, comey, and so many more, off of the tax payer payroll and into prison where they can enjoy that socialist utopia they tout so highly of. They'll still be living at tax payer expense.

Mccain is a worthless piece of crap. Our own rule of law of was undermined when obozo started weaponizing federal agencies while working with known terrorist groups and enemies, along with their benefactors. It's mccain himself trying to subvert our democracy. He was one of the first to know of the "dossier".

RE: Coffee time

My primary beverage from the moment of waking up, to the moment of time for sleep.

I used to like trying unique and gourmet coffees with the various type creamers. Now I could care less.

I still touch on the idea of trying to come up with an I.V. design that won't get in the way of work and other minor activities. It won't ever happen but it doesn't stop the thought of it popping in now and again.coffee

RE: Don't waste your money on this book "Fire and Fury"

obozo was all negative. Every thing went against the nation and citizens that he could throw out.

I don't care about a "diplomatic" behavior. All of his actions to actually make things better, actually seems more in touch with people. Straight forward and a lot more open. What people view as "grace" or "elegance" from what they expect as a "leader" has turned more into a type of macrabe against the people and the nation over the years. I can't even begin to describe the acceleration that took place with obozo. He and I think his family members aren't taking salaries except what might be required by law; $1.

I never once thought obozo was graceful or elegant. His actions and results proved what he really was and wasn't.

Now we have the exact opposite with Trump.

RE: Don't waste your money on this book "Fire and Fury"

Some might like it. Wasn't amazon trying to censor or control false reviews for book ratings once or twice before?

I guess I'm not interested in some one's personal life or spin on things when they're most likely just trying to "Cash in".

RE: Don't waste your money on this book "Fire and Fury"

Every thing points to fusion GPS and there are personal ties.

Hillary was never exonerated or innocent. They just didn't press any charges. More on the comey memos as well. Hillary's was absolutely true. When the government picks their elite, they're covered. When the people pick their elites, it's the government trying to "unpick" it with every thing that doesn't fit the actual actions and results.

Trump's success makes his last three predecessors look like the true clowns they are. Yet Trump is the clown. I don't care what he tweets. Idon't care what people write. What are the results vs. the same that has been said and done by the others before?

RE: Don't waste your money on this book "Fire and Fury"

It's already being refuted by some of the actual people, it allegedly, includes. Cnn even has a recent report on some of the "samples" where they say they haven't verified any thing about it. One comment sounds like a back track from the "author" already.

Another book I know I won't waste money on. I'll be watching to see if the GOP gets the dossier author indicted or not. That would be worth reading about; on the dot gov site of course.

RE: What is your priority, when it comes to finding a partner?

Hard to put demands like a take out order when looking for a partner. Realistic, honest, good ethics, and loyal would be my starting points.

Every thing else would take time to fully figure out on both parts. What you may view or see as almost perfect for yourself, may not be you for them.

RE: Share What You Are Listening To -- Part 30 - 11

Wishing a Very...

It's okay. I live in an state with snow and cold. In my personal opinion; a fire place and chimney(though there can be other perks), is a huge energy leak.

Loved having one when growing up in Florida.

Wishing a Very...

Wishing a Very...

It's only once a year.

I've long forgotten some of the terms I've heard over the years, for the sincere wish of joy and blessings.

This could turn out better than I was originally anticipating.

RE: Share What You Are Listening To -- Part 30 - 11

Wishing a Very...

I don't know the proper term every region of the globe might use for this time of year.

For my first and potentially last thread that I have ever started from my region; I would like to wish EVERY ONE, A very Merry Christmas!

RE: What advice would you give your 13 year old self.

Consider different life long plans as you're about to be monkey wrenched with a forced relocation, far, far away from you have and know now.

That's what I would tell my 13 year old self...

RE: USA Vetoes UN Security Council Egypt-drafted resolution that Status in Jerusalem not change

Thinking on the actual positive turn around that has taken place in the U.S. so far.

Better economic conditions. Tax and trade compatibility help on many levels. Before the full nafta effect, it was already proven that even with minimal trade; the U.S. was able to operate economically just fine and even gain in revenues if the government would quit spending what we don't have. The door is open even now, for actual expansion with growth.

Security will continue to be better. People yell gun control over every issue, which actually escalated heavily during the last misadministration. An actual administration more keen on our rights and Constitution, is actually helping internally by allowing expansion of things that should have been done all along. It would be extremely hard for any type of foreign invasion or the government to be allowed to become fully tyranical. That was a part of the reasoning our founding fathers had behind their framing.

The current administration's hands were tied with 2334 with the U.N. Allowing past legislation to surface freed that back up. There are bonuses. We have a better understanding of actual allies we might be able to trust. Others we already knew were questionable and still more we just knew better than to try. It wasn't threat. It was more of a partially forced situation that can be viewed and used as a "suss". I truly hope we can finally save a lot.

Our current administration will continue to back their decision on Jerusalem AND Israel.

RE: USA Vetoes UN Security Council Egypt-drafted resolution that Status in Jerusalem not change

Where did the revunues come from for the equipment, other operating costs, and the workers that also had to be paid?

Did the workers get free housing and such? Did any debt go down or up?

People truly do not understand there are costs. If things were ever free; how could the cost for government spending be included for the budgets and explanations of expenditures?
