When I lived in the Black Hills, cougars were going through windows of houses to kill house cats. (right through the glass) But never heard of one attacking a person there.
Sometimes we do return the help. as the old saying, you reap what you sow. Most of my childhood my Grandmother raised me after my folks ran off.
about 2 years ago my Granny (80+) had a severe stroke, Fortunately I worked in a nursing home at the time, made decent $$ so that was no issue. After she was released from the hospital she came to our nursing home for 2 months, she could no longer live alone. So we had a choice, either she could stay in the home or go home with me and have a home nurse check her often.
I moved her in with me, was great being able to return all she had done for me!!!!! Was so hard for her, she had always been so independent. Before the stroke, she still worked 6 hours per day as a teachers assistant.
Loosing her own home was the worst. but at least she was happy that she didn't have to stay in the nursing home! She had always told me that she did not want to pass in a home. Sadly, only 2 months later she had another severe stroke, She survived till all of the family from out of state made it there. after that I just couldn't live in my home so I sold it ans moved back to my hometown. Just so glad she was at home.
What makes you a Rebel ?
I have got to try that one sometime when they are really busy!!
