Maybe I am wrong, but I think there is a huge difference between a wonderful woman and a women that I want a relationship with.

I mean. I do want a relationship to be with a wonderful woman!
but that is a limit of sorts.. there are a lot of wonderful women that I wouldn't necessarily want to be in a relationship with.

But the same qualities for a woman or man to be a wonderful person.

Honest,
very moral,
Loving but also self worth,
Reliable,
Balanced life, Balanced thinking.
Willing to work to survive.
Someone that can give good, sound honest advice from a perspective of what will bring a good healthy outcome.

But to be completely honest, the words used above to describe a wonderful woman.. tricky.. because each person also has a different meaning for each of the words used?
not only is the description debatable but so is every term used,
would have to start a thread for each word to see what people think each word means.

But it does not take perfection to be a wonderful person.
Would almost be easier to describe what makes a person not so wonderful.

but as for a relationship......it would go much deeper.

To be fair.. some places are excellent also!
ate at a small local Mom & Pop diner- about 40 seats.. all hand prepared southern food.

Was fantastic food and perfect service.. gladly gave the 20%

No kidding! long ago at a Country Kitchen,, I ordered a large breakfast waited forever to get the food.. took only one bite, was so cold.
I ask the waitress nicely if she could take it back and nuke it for me..She argued that there was NO WAY it was cold.......

I ask her 3 times but she kept arguing.. I wasn't asking to fix it all over.. just heat it up.

So I walked out and told her she can eat it..

She actually followed me outside and wrote my lic number.
20 minutes later the cops were at my house wanting to arrest me.
And I had only taked one bite!!

We called the manager of CC told him the story and he said forget it so the cop left.

I immediately drove back to CC, got the manager and waitress together and needless to say.. she no longer had a job.

I know it is an extreme, but the last place I ate out was so lousy.
No way they were getting a top ( and I usually do tip at least 10%)

But his place didnt have half of what I wanted from the menu..so I had to choose another meal, then- I drink a lot of coffee..this place.. I ask over and over for coffee and after 45 minutes got no refills....
Finally I got up and went behind the counter and got my own..then the waitress got really nasty with me because her manager got on her...

Tough sh... do your job

why should I pay $1 for one small cup of coffee and no refills.

But....... I do think wait staff should get at LEAST min wage!
most often.. these people work their butts off

But you need to consider that most of the shootings, especially schools, are carried out with rifles!
So called sporting guns.. why?
Because in most places they are not registered.

But as I said before,
I think people that don't use gun safety should be changed with the crimes committed with their guns.

If someone else steals your gun because it was not locked up or in some way kept in a safe place..and then they kill someone.. the gun owner should also be in jail.

But stop and think.. how do most of these kids get the guns?
Usually Hunting rifles that Dad or Grandpa have hanging on a gun rack on the wall, or in the back window of a truck.

The entire thread was a test of the temperament of the women here and the double standards that they live by and place on us men here.

This entire thread.. title,, ALL questions and the opening paragraph are all an exact copy of another thread asking where have all the handsome 45 yr olds gone.

Ladys.. go read that thread and see the difference in how the men reacted. as far as that goes.. read how the women reacted also.

There were no nasty comments and it was laughed at......
yet.. when a guy ask the women the EXACT same thing.. the women all want to attack and bear claws.

The ONLY point here is............ Men fairly constantly get put down here and belittled, and most of the women think it is funny and cute...

but let the women get the same treatment and mass hysteria.

How do you figure skip?
A huge majority of crime and death is caused by guns, are by people illegally with guns..
Not the legal ones.

There were 143 gun-related murders in Washington last year, compared with 135 in 1976, when the handgun ban was enacted.

But this action of blocking the handgun ban is still a joke.
It only allows people to have a loaded gun Inside their house for protection.

It is argued that we no longer need handguns to protect ourself because we now have a strong military and police to protect us...

Honestly.. how many of us ever had a cop standing right there when a crime happens?? Get real... now if we can just get the criminals to do their crimes right in front of the cops!

However.. the constitution does not say that individuals have a righ to have guns.. it says "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

either way- government takes our guns! they have made sure that forming a Militia is illegal. thus.. no guns.
This is why Waco happened.

In any way.. is it really our governments right to tell us that we can not protect ourselves?

should we have to alter our lives to accommodate the criminals?

if we get robbed.. should we not be able to defend ourself?
are there areas you can't safely walk at night because of crime?
how is that right?

It has been shown that the deer whistles that we can get to put on the front of our cars DO NOT work...

they just make the deer stop and stand still to listen, no matter where they are.
So if the deer is standing in the middle of the road... the whistles actually make it worse.

Unfortunately, It does take a lot of time to heal.
This is just my opinion but heres goes.

You have got to get yourself under control!
By not being on stable ground before getting involved with this guy, you only set yourself up for such a hard crash.
While still alone, use this time to heal and fix yourself first!! it is not that you aren't worthy, it is that you weren't really ready.

You must be happy with yourself before you can contribute to a relationship! otherwise you are just putting the entire load on the other person.

"They all seem to let me go.." why? maybe because..
sounds like a pattern that you keep following.
ask yourself,, what do these guys have in common? What were the differences?
how fast are you giving your heart over? how soon do you have intimate relations? and how sound are your decision making abilities?

Someone else can only add to your happiness.. they can not make you a happy person.
If the other person is happy, but most of what they hear from you is sorrow.. they have to fight to stay happy.

You have answered your own question,
You were not happy before you met him, you only had electronic communication with him and met him only once, you had doubts about his age (and I'm sure doubts about other aspects as well, if you take a deeper look) listen to what your mind is telling you.

This would be a great time to write in a journal! just so you will have it to read back thru , so you don't forget..

write in detail about differences and similarities of men from the past.. stay away from those traits in men and look for something different.
also write your feelings and actions with men! think of how you can fix yourself first.

Instead of being so down.. Use this time to be productive and learn from the past.

In closing I must add,
I do in a way agree with mbcasey! it was just worded badly.
When depressed, it often helps to look at others that really have it rough,, injury, cancer, accidents or worse yet they continue to fight to survive, many when there really is little hope.

watch people in worse conditions, maybe even talk to them. learn from them.

either way. you Seriously need to find the ways to be happy with yourself first!

I hit a deer long ago.. whipped out the grill and both headlights.. got out but the deer was gone.. as much damage was done to the car.. he couldn't have ran far

A few years back, as I was about half block from my house, the neighbors were standing out in the street talking, left their gate open. I was only going like 5 milers per hr. Their dog darted right out in front of me but too late. Never seen it.

I felt so low...unfortunately, nothing could be done.
