RE: Do you live in same country and/or city you were born?

Can't believe how many pretty much still in the same place.

those of you... have you at least been to other States?

RE: ask questions

Thats an easy one......
After a couple of $100 dates I aim to get lucky!wink tongue

RE: ask questions

Question here or in real life, two different approaches.

here I do not ask a lot.. I just don't have that kind of faith in internet.

but in person I will ask anything I want to know.. eye to eye- so I can read them.

mostly start with the every day questions...
Do you have kids?
how many and ages of brothers and sisters?
find out some about family background and so on.

RE: what would you do on the first day in the army if an officer came up to your face & started shouting

wave
Been there, was no big deal, but I couldn't keep from smiling, so I got a heck of a lot of push ups.
once refused to do the push ups...Was hilarious..had 3 DI's all up in my face screaming at me... got to the point that one of The drill instructors started laughing.

finally I just did the push ups.

its just a game to gain mind control, so that you do what you are told as soon as you are told, without much thought.

but is a necessary evil in combat.

luckily I was in during peace time.. no combat for me.

RE: what would you do on the first day in the army if an officer came up to your face & started shouting

Thats exactly what happens.. and continues for most of the first 3 months.
Just a mind game.
But if you smile... it sure gets worse!

RE: is it wrong to still talk to your friends online after you start dating someone?

I agree, if just dating.. you are not a couple yet.. either way..

but if it becomes serious I think we should be willing to leave the singles site(s)

RE: Do you live in same country and/or city you were born?

Same country,, different State,,
born in Louisville KY.
now in MO.

this is where my heart is for now.

Family moved here when I was very young.
No way I will ever move back to KY.. too violent!

RE: is it wrong to still talk to your friends online after you start dating someone?

I don't think it is a good idea to *CLAIM* to be in a serious relationship and still have a picture floating around on a dating site. or flirting with others..

for me.. give the relationship 100% or go away.

pretty simple.

But thats just my opinion.
but then again, I do not like undue complications.hug

RE: His profile

beware #4dunno

RE: is it wrong to still talk to your friends online after you start dating someone?

Here I disagree with the majority,

I think if you find the one, it is time to give up a dating site.

RE: I think riyas gr8

This is the only time *ever* that I can honestly say-

Anyone who thinks not is an IDIOT!

Could you / would you take it?

way too much stuff!
There would have been a good 8-10 truck loads.

But I did find out recently why the stuff was put out.

The guy got put in prison for 3 years.... You would have thought that family or friends could have come and got the stuffvery mad

Must have had some great friends.....NOT

Could you / would you take it?

Thats how I see it, if it ain't mine.. don't touch.

Do onto others as you would want them to do to you!!!

RE: God and medicial healing.

Well, In fact some religions actually kill members needlessly .

Take for example.. Jehovah's witness . and no blood.
I have actually seen them let an 17 yr old boy bleed to death because their religion won't allow to give blood.

this is when the doctors should have the right to over ride the religion!

RE: are women nags?

thumbs up

and one huge difference...
Some men can't accept any type of criticism without seeing it as nagging.

depends on how mature he is.

But yes SOME women do nag

RE: US congressman moves to impeach Bush

exactly!!!thumbs up

But I still say do it now if they can.. just for the records and history sake!

RE: Would you really like to meet the ONE?

I will get back with one tomorrow!
Should it be somewhat funny or do you think serious only and to the point?dunno

RE: Serenity1971; serious

Glad you are feeling better!!!

RE: Serenity1971; serious

For those who don't know:
What is meningitis?
Meningitis is a common name for infections that take place in the membranes (called meninges) surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Meningitis can be caused by viruses and by bacteria. One of the most serious forms of meningitis is caused by bacteria known as meningococci.
Meningococcal Disease and Meningitis
An infection with meningococcal bacteria causes a serious, potentially fatal infection called meningococcal disease1. You may have heard it referred to as bacterial meningitis. This Web site will focus on meningococcal disease, including meningitis.
Meningococcal disease can affect the meninges, causing meningitis. It can also cause a very serious condition called sepsis (also known as blood poisoning).
Each year, about 3000 people in the United States become infected with the bacteria, and as many as 1 in 10 of those people die2.
As deadly as meningococcal disease can be, most cases in the United States (up to 83 percent of cases in adolescents and young adults) could potentially be prevented by a single vaccination.3,4

Viral Meningitis
Another form of meningitis is caused by a virus. Viral meningitis is serious, but usually not life-threatening. Most patients with viral meningitis get better on their own in 7 to 10 days.

Who gets meningitis?
Even people who are usually healthy can get meningitis. However, data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have shown that the risk of getting meningitis increases in teens and young adults.1,3

How does a person catch meningitis?
Although meningitis is uncommon, a person can catch it by having close personal contact with a person who is sick with the disease. There are also people who can carry the bacteria in their nose and throat but never become sick. Contact with these carriers can also cause someone to become infected with meningitis.2

Experts believe that some behaviors can put people at greater risk for getting meningitis. These include:2,4,5,22
Living in close quarters, such as college dormitories

Being in crowded situations for prolonged periods of time

Sharing drinking glasses, water bottles, or eating utensils

Kissing

Smoking or being exposed to smoke

Activities that make people run-down and may weaken the immune system, such as staying out late and having irregular sleeping patterns

How can a person prevent meningitis?
While there isn’t a way to be 100 percent protected, you can help reduce the risk of getting meningitis by avoiding the behaviors that spread it. There is also a vaccination that can help prevent it. Ask your child’s health-care provider about how to protect your child.

How is meningitis treated?

A person with meningitis needs to be seen by a health-care provider immediately. If you think that someone you know has meningitis, get that person in for emergency care right away. If doctors suspect a patient has meningitis, they will give that person strong antibiotic medicine through an intravenous (IV) tube straight into their bloodstream.

How can meningococcal disease affect a person?
Even with treatment, meningococcal disease can kill an otherwise healthy young person in 48 hours or less.2,6,7 The severe swelling in the brain and spinal cord, and sepsis (also known as blood poisoning) can lead to:2,6
Amputation of limbs, fingers, or toes

Severe scarring

Brain damage

Hearing loss

Kidney damage

Emotional and psychological problems including anxiety, depression, difficulty working, and more
The lasting effects of meningococcal disease can change a person’s life forever. That’s why it’s so important to protect people from this illness.

RE: Question about my problem today...

if you are not hospitalized.. you need to press charges immediately.

also.. the cops can arrest her and hold her for 48 hours in most states without charges. then if charges are pressed she will go to court,
You will also have to testify in court when she gos to trial. unless she pleas guilty.

she should already be in jail,

DO NOT wait to press charges yourself!
