from a nice hot bubble bath, to setting my hair, and putting on make up and getting dressed and trying everything on until im happy
it can take me 3 hours to get ready for a night out if its a special occasion .......lol........ not cos im putting on lots of make up and smellies, more cos i just enjoy the whole experience
if im getting ready for work, its a shower, hair tied back, and quick change of clothes, i can be ready in 20 mins
karma for me is like energy .................if you put your energy into doing something positive and kind......... you will receive back positive benefits
if you do something wrong........ you will have to deal with the results until a lesson learned
if we are talking about rejection from a dating perspective .... then to me a no means that person wasnt interested and therefore no was the best answer for me to get
in another situation..... i went for a job interview once and got told at the interview ... that i was exactly what they were looking for, and to expect a call that week
well ...... i got the call .... but they said, someone more qualified got interviewed that same day, so they were sorry, but it was a no, and they would keep me on file
i took that pretty bad, it was a job for big equestrian society and my heart was set on that job
but after a bit of wallowing in self pity and feeling glum, i carried on with my search and got a job i love doing
i dont need you to bow out speedy ..... if you want to reply and make a point i dont have a problem with that at all .....honestly i merely wanted to make a point that ppl are here for all kinds of reasons .. make all kinds of posts,
self esteem issues is a big problem for a lot of ppl tho, and something that many of them cannot overcome
i suppose for many ppl it takes an awful lot of courage to break the ice, and then when they get a knock back ......its like a condemnation of themselves
my profile clearly states i am looking for freinds, and as thats an option in the sign up process, im not breaking any rules or TOS and im asking a valid forum question, that i cant see any harm in also what has "why im here" got to do with my forum posts?
maybe i should do a thread called " why are ppl here" huh? lol
im not in the habit of disecting and putting any forum post under a microscope to the whys and wherefores
im not that much of a pedant
if i did that ........ id be here all day and nuffink would ever get done !
