when one of mine was in her first year of school, she had to tell the rest of the class what she did at the weekend
she said .......... we all went to new zealand to look at the old stuff
we went to a museum
and somehow MUSEUM and NEW ZEALAND sounded the same to her
another time we were on a train and passing lots of farms, she wanted the names what were the mummy sheep (ewe) called?? and what were the baby pigs(piglets) called??
so what are daddy cows called?? and we said bulls or bullocks
next field .........she shouts out ( crowded train)
i dont like those put the blame on someone type of threads, i know ppl get hurt, but i dont like ti when its shouted from the rooftops, cos there is always several sides to a story
over here (UK) if you are not married the mother is the only person allowed to register the birth
and you can put john smith or donald duck as the fathers name if you wish
or simply write father unknown
i know someone who put an imaginary name down as the dad, and when her son was old enough, she told him the truth, she said, it was because she didnt want his birth cert to have father unknown on it
