Happiness isn't a state of mind in my opinion.

A happy outlook is...seeing the positive in any situation, that I gan agree with.

But try being happy in the midst of a family tragedy!

So, such happiness can, and always will be compromised.

And this is leaving out all those who are chemically depressed and have no say in the matter of when they are 'allowed' to feel happines.

No, it is as Airliner once said, 'There are no happy people, just happy moments'.
