Canadian figures:"Canadian police services reported just over 8,100 victims of violent gun crime, ranging from assault to robbery and homicide, accounting for 2.4% of all victims of violence. Handguns made up nearly two-thirds of all firearms used."
Sorry about that.
Huge difference though... That's ok and yeah but probably not per capita population wise...It's still bad when you can't walk down the streets of Toronto and be an innocent bystandard and not know if you will make it home or be caught in the cross-fire of some gang shoot-out!!!!!!!!
Every year it gets more violent in the larger cities...
8100 victims TOTAL! Canada has a population of around 33 million...9 times smaller than the US.
The maths is simple...even multiplying the Canadian total gun crimes figure to equate with the US population, it's minute in comparison!

Do people bore you? Not totally of course, kinda 'slighty' generally though...more often than not?
Does it take a special sort to capture and hold your attention, and even then, you sometimes feel aloof here and there?
Or is it just me?
I love people, but don't like too many...meaning I feel the need to show civility when able, to all I come across, but would be very unlikely to have more than a couple of close friends at any one time.
People
I see your point...you're very kind to her as she's obviously very fond of you.I couldn't do that...done it in the past, but found it draining and fruitless.
Keep up the good work!
