Sorry, I can't say I miss it. It was unsettling to say the least, as it was supposed to ask if you would accept an incoming IM. My experience was that it just opened up and someone was yammering at me. || Once, I was in a conversation with someone and 5 IM's popped open @ once while I was already in an IM. let's just say, trying to explain and shut down some, with a promise to get back to them later, was not a nice experience. || IMO, they have much work to do on it before they spring it back on us.

Erm, I have to disagree with you on what I have read here. Swissblue eyes is from further North than I, and it is ok where she is from. || The girl that caused Ccincy to create this thread is from Texas, if I recall correctly. Now, that is pretty far South, IMO. || I think all of us are very capable of being elegant, if we were taught to be so regardless of weither North or South.
How is this tragedy related to the embargo and the ordinary people? || Was this plane carrying supplies to your country? || I, like many, feel for all peoples hurt by embargo policies. However, it is also a mixed feeling when it comes to Governments of the world, whom have voted, in unison to implement such measures b/c as a small cog in the world, I know the embargo will not effect the powers that be, causing the problems but the little cogs, like myself. || I think the reasoning is to make the powers that be face up to it is a World Decision and that any actions percieved to be a danger to the World, will be sanctioned against, to have those in power, re-evaluate their actions. Sadly, IMO, it does not work that way. || My Prayers, thoughts and condolences to all involved in this tragedy
|| You are correct. || It is all senseless in light of this. || Thank-you for the needed reminder for many of us. || In these uncertain times, I know some animals are in shelters not b/c their humans did not want them, but b/c with the economy many lost their homes and unlike for us, temporary homless shelters do not accept pets as family. || So sad that there is not a temporary animal shelter to help until the people get on their feet and can be reunited with their FurBabies. || We are all of us so much closer to losing all than we think and it is scary, to say the least.

|| Our first big storm of the season was well over a week ago. We got more than 24 inches the first day with additional accumulations each of the 3 days following. || Lots of clean-up. Then after the clean up, we went up to over 50 degrees and it all went away. || Then got more. || Though is just a coating from the storm you have. Such odd weather these past few years. || YES!! I, too, love it! Winter is and has always been my favorite season! The cleanup of it is a hassle, but I still Love it!

I guess, I should add that this is a ~ 3 million mile wide Country and it is going to vary from State to State even within some of the same States or areas. That and it is Cultural. What is ok in one area may not be Ok in another. Even within the same area. || For me, being called "Dear" by an older relative either Male or Female or by a Teacher or by a woman of the same age is acceptable. However, it is not acceptable by a Guy whom wants to get to know me seriously, before we are infact at the point of being serious- that is considered an insult where I am from. Someone whom is trying to get priviledges or use endearments before they are properly "earned" for lack of a better word. || Likewise for a younger person or relative to use the term is disrespectful.
Um, with all due respect, I think I can help you to see something here. || Mnowsa, IS being respectful. || You see, this is an international forum, and what we all need to keep in mind is, that what is respectful in one Culture, may not be respectful in another and like wise the opposite. || It took me awhile to not take it personally. Even now, my first inclination is to go "Ohhhhh, not again!" However, there ARE worse salutations than Dear, which cross the line far more in taking Liberties and being presumptuous, in my book. || So, I would rather read the Dear than anything else, as that one IS considered a proper, respectful Salutation in many parts of the world. || We all have to lighten up on somethings alien to us.
Z, your poetry and all you write is often very, very excellent. You are quite often very moving in either spirit, heart and mind or all three. I am always moved to read what you write in some way. You do have a wonderful way with words and a wisdom that makes others stop and think. Thank-you for sharing.
Erm, Ray, to me your last line says it all. You are not sure, as you are separated for more than a year. *+*+*+* I am a person that feels strongly one relationship must be finished completely before starting another. To do anything else is not fair and can lead to heartbreak and resentment then other problems. *+*+*+* I think if one is any kind of friend, they will sit the other down and say what you have said here, including your need to finalize something before starting anew. *-*+-*+-* If it is meant to be, it will be in the right time and would be worth waiting for. *+*+*+* To go in prematurely, could ruin something that might be special. *+*+*+* (I am online via my cell phone. My thoughts are that, Science is often based on discovery via observation which in turn leads to "What if____ Statements. These lead to further experimentation wqhich eventually leads to Invention. So my feeling is the firest person whom figured out to take a burning ember from a lightning strike, thereby harnessing fire was before the wheel.

It can be frustrating to get emails from guys that claim they read and love my profile and they agree with it, then to turn right around and say let's go to Yahoo,etc so we can talk more privately, there - Helloooo, CS is plenty private enough for me. ?????? How am I angry????? I have stated I am not looking b/c I am focused on finishing my schooling. I have said I am here for friends and forums. I have also followed a pattern of a few others, here on CS by using IF followed by THEN statements, like a computer flow chart,, in describing myself and in describing my future LifeMate. The only lines, I think you might feel as being angry are the ones where I state I will not reply if a person gets pushy despite my polite refusal and offer of friendship only nor will I reply to emails begging me to go offsite or that declare love and proposals of Marriage in the first emails. Other than that, I cannot understand why nor how you feel I am a very angry Woman b/c I am so far away from being angry. My personality is extremely laid back and ultra respectful.
