Now find out I can not even be a bone marrow donor.
If you have given blood you can give until 71 years of age
so here I would fly just under the radar.
If, however you have not been allowed to give blood, the cut off date
is 60+
One thing left is stem cells.

Boy sounds I am good for not much until I die lol.
Who knows what all can be used and needed in 30 years eh?
Maybe limps?
Hope and plan to be around to find out.

If, If I had been a blood donor I could be a bone marrow donor until 71 years of age.
If not allowed to be a blood donor because of HBP the cut off date is 60 + so there goes that plan now too.

I am now checking into donating bone marrow.
Do you think/know if the same applies? No, if having high BP?

I chose to donate a kidney as it seemed less painfull as having
bone marrow extracted as I have read this is very very painful.
I am no hero when it comes to pain.

It really is done a lot these days, donating to a stranger. Not just done by a very few.
I do know some who donated to someone they did know, but this is not always the case.

Now checking about donating bone marrow, but what I know about this is that it is very very painful.
I am no hero to pain for sure.
So will need to check this one out more before I would commit myself.

Yes that had been the plan. Found on Googles a phone number to call in my own province and got the call just this morning.
It was not my age but the fact I have high blood presure, that made me not a goo candidate.
They were pleased that I offered to tell others about this donor thing as this may give someone else an idea.
Bummer that I can not be a donor.

Drui I got to find it in myself first, so a lot is about attitude and I have plenty of it
I can laugh at myself and do so a lot.

This is soooo funny!
The last few months have not been the easiest for me.
So in talking to a friend in New York, someone I talk to daily, I told her, you know my face is showing more wrinkles etc.

The main reason for the much improved eyesight is that special lenses have been put in my eyes.
Toric lenses they are called.
I had a lot of stigmatism and in the worsed eye it is reduced by 75% and it the other it is totally gone.

It was funny when uncle doctor told me; you may only need reading glasses now. I laughed and told him no problema doc, as I have used them as such most of my life.
