Sorry guys we were talking about Chronic late commers, those who have no excuse. People who make you ruin dinner while waiting etc. time and time again. They simply can not get organized.
Now what is wrong with your memory, do you have a medical problem? If not, then start writing things down girl. Use alarm clocks and plan ahead what to wear etc. Know before hand how long it takes to get to a certain place. Or if you don't know allow for extra time. You can do it!
Vulpin you can be late all you want but Not when other people have gone out of their way to be on time. So they sit there wondering if you are okay, not in an accident etc.
The way Jan is discribing is that Everybody is late. This makes it different.
Ten minustes is not too bad but a lot of people are 1/2 hour or longer late. So it is Not about You, but being considerate of Others. Place yourself waiting alone in a restaurant. Your waiting and waiting. Telling the server you are waithing for someone. You are Not feeling sooo comfortable are you?
Is someone "UP there" taking notes all day and night? Ohhh I saw that Jenny, that was bad! It will go in My books. OMG He must be very busy. Number one, God is Spirit so is Not writing down anything! We human beings carry it all in our Own head. On judgement day the "computer" in our head brings it all to the survice. It will roll off like a film. Everything we have Ever seen, heard, said, experienced, it is all in our subconcious for ever! Neatly filled away. Remember some people have told that when they fell of a high place, that their whole life flashed by in split seconds? Same thing, when our own "computer" starts to roll off, it will show it all in a matter of a split second. What brought this thought on was this; When a loved one dies, how often we hear people, saying/thinking things like; I am so thankful he/she still saw his grandbabies. So happy he'/she still got to go on that vacation. Glad he/she never........etc.etc. Even non-believers do this. Why do we people do this? Is part of this driven by regrets, guilts and things we are very grateful for? I believe the body returns to dust, but the spirit can Not die. Where ever it is going to spend eternity, will this spirit have memories of things happening during its life, possitive's or negative's, sometimes later? The Good Book says that all who have already passed from this planet, are asleep, so for now there are no memories in their memory banks.
Hey I am an "import" so have a bit of an excuse. Lol Okay translated I meant. When you know the habits of your friends and you say let's meet at 4 o'clock you know, none will show up until 4.30 so you all come at 4.30
I know some people knowing how their friends are, book a 1/2 hour or hour later than planned. I wait about 15 like in a restaurant, not there? Bye bye, see you! This applies of course only to the people who's bad habits you know. The chronic late commers.

To me, it is showing basic courtesy and respect to the person you're meeting up with.
More often than not, these late comers or no showers are usually the same few people. Have you ever thought, the person waiting for you, could also have spent the time doing more meaningful things than waiting for you?
Actually it shows a lot about the person's character when he is CONSTANTLY late (once or twice is ok one)
so for that matter his image suffers. guys will lose points with the girls when he is late and vice versa... i mean... if i were interested in a girl and she's ALWAYS late.. its kinda a turn off for me... imagine IF next time get together then all the time late... i will die lah!
but what is saddening is when you have a close friend turn out to be a latecomer... very sian feeling one... like disappointed but still...
Oh about time someone actually thinks the same way I do about being early. Will you educate my friends for me haha, I'm so tempted to give names here :)
YES! I don't like waiting for friends. :mad: It just gives me a feeling that her time is more precious than mine and i can afford to waste that few minutes (okz, maybe not few minutes.. its like half hour?) to wait for her since my time is not as precious?!
