Yes the English have a dry sense of humour llke the Dutch have. Corny as hell. My family could be expected to say things like; "I went with my leg to the doctor" Someone will pipe up with: "Oh it would have been difficult to leave it behind eh"

I am getting a education here. Yes the humidity makes a lot of differents. When I first came to Ottawa it was so very hot and humid. I walked very slow as it was difficult to breathe.

If you want to work in Canada, then you MUST get a work visa. You cannot work on a visitor visa.
Really too bad as you would have liked Canada. I have seen people turned back when they had no money or not enough. Are you allowed back into the country?
