Please come again when it is snowing. You may love it! It is not cold when it snows and of course we are dressed for it. I had friends that came from Indonesia. The woman never complained about cold but it took the husband many years to climatize.

I sew some but due to the taking to a school years back,that part of me was lost but not completely,like my language. How come the elders do not teach or no one is interested? I stil have a lot to learn about my culture but,I'm getting there;I guess we all have a lot to learn about others lives and lifestyles,IMO. That is for sure. The nearest community to me is just over 200 miles away and,the only means of getting there is to fly and,that's where the fear comes in; it's such a vast and isolated area.

Sure is Boban. Handsome in those uniforms eh? I am on a picture with 8 of the Mounties. We had a restaurant close to the airport. 21 one of the Mounties where at the airport on Canada day. We invited them all to the restaurant, 8 did. We set the tables with white linnen. Today we will serve you, we said! These 8 then posed for pictures with us. The idea came from their own Chief.
I am laughng at your decriptions, but it really was not funny for you. The hight of summer here would be July and August. May, June and September can also be very nice. People must be able to climatize as we have many from tropical places. Your friends in Toronto too are from the tropics?

You must be a close knit community as that is all you have, each other. Is global warming effecting you? Like the perma frost is slowly disappearing so trucks can no drive over it in some places. How do you adjust, feel, when going to a big city? Can't wait to get back home or..........?

Before I became a Canadian I had to study about this country. I ended up knowing more then a lot of Canadians. Unfortunately I have forgotten a lot now.
Newfoundland alone is a two day drive. We thought it to be smart to go when the kids where still in school. Big mistake as now the ferry did not go to the other side, so it was a two day drive for us. Some road back
Yep Canada is the second largest country in the world. It takes days to cross, a week by train? My ex mother in law told her friends that the train must be standing still at night as no country could be that large.
Ireland and for me Holland, is soooo small in comparison. Next year I will pick up my little sister from Seattle. 13 hour drive. Had I started in the North of Holland I would in 13 hours, be in Spain. We now think nothing of going to visit friends 2-3 hours away. You can cross Holland in 3 hours. I don't know how small Ireland is compared to Holland.

We stayed in moncton one night on our way to Newfoundland. We were surprised to see so many signs in the front yard showing; we are Arcadians. Also so many French speaking people.

Welome! Everything is correct except the dimonds mines. Google it and you see there are several places in Canada. A little icebear shows the diamonds are Canadian.

You need to repeat your stay in Canada it is a large country, and has so much to offer you. I have not done so myself but plan too, is too take a trip on a cruiseship to Alaska.
