THE STRATEGIST AT THE PEARLY GATES


A Republican strategist assumes room temperature and finds himself at the Pearly Gates. The strategist is taken inside Heaven by St. Peter and given a guided tour. He's led into one huge room that is full of millions of clocks, and he notices a clock with his name on it that has stopped.
St. Peter explains that everyone has a clock that counts down the seconds of their life, and when someone dies, their clock stops. All this fascinates the strategist but when he examines all of the other clocks, he notices that some of the clocks' second hands are moving faster than others.

St. Peter explains that every time someone tells a lie, which is a sin, they lose part of their life, so their clock's second hand ends up moving faster.

The Republican strategist looks around but doesn't see John McCain's clock, so he asks St. Peter where it is.

"Oh," answers St. Peter, "that's being used as a ceiling fan."

Every month the social club in my community puts out a nice dinner.
While people were filling their plates at the banquet table, I started to jodel.
The lady with the microphone heard it too and is now telling the people that Jenny is going to jodel for us.
Jennny just smiled and did nothing.
The next thing was that over a hundred people are shanting; Jenny, Jenny, Jenny.
She did not budge!
Later the people asked me how could you refuse to jodel when so many asked you too?
Well good people I can't/won't do it on commando.
At times my jodeling is good at other times it is not.
So not willing to take the chance of making a fool of myself, I did nothing, no matter how long and no matter how many people were shouting for "Jenny"

I tried to learn guitar as I so love to sing.
When living at home I would start to sing the minute I came home.
My dad would tell me to pleazzzzz go upstairs and do your singen there as we have enough nightingales here, already.
After I sang my little heart out for about an hour I felt good it was my release.

It sucks indeed, but having lost a husband, then a fiance, you grieve and next have to re-adjust being alone again.
Lucky for me I am able to entertain myself and have lot's of cyber friends.
But no one to warm my cold feet in real life.

I don't enjoy this whole dating game. Having to adjust to yet another person again.

I am still not set in my ways and am very flexable, anymore flexable and I could be called a pretzel.

Having had to stay in the hospital, the night nurse came to say good bye in the morning.
