As I didnt want to disrupt the thread of the the guys on the other thread, discussing politics - which I find very interesting by the way, I thought I would open a new one here on a slightly different, but related topic.
How do people think about the "Keeping up with the Jones'" Culture?
So many people and families have got into trouble by buying, and borrowing too much. Why is that? I myself have done it, got into trouble in the past, thankfully, got out of it.
Just would be interested to know people's thoughts..
Also, there's a really good, simple site called "Before you Know It". Its an online language site and Im currently improving my (very rusty" Gaelic on it.
I have mixed feelings about guys that dont have pics. Wonder, in one instance, what they have to hide, and then, Ireland particularly, being a small place, understand. Difficult one.
Ha, why thanks! To cut a very long story short, I got so fed up with eejits, that decided to stay single for a while. Sure you knew the feeling!! Miss the closeness now tho, so back in the "search", as they say!
I guess so, yep. I suppose the only thing you can do is put up honest, and varied photos. I do wonder about people who actually say that their photo was taken "x" many years ago. A current one would be better, in my opinion. JMO

Im so glad for you that youve found another job. You are one of the lucky ones. Especially with 3 kids.
All the agencies, and everyone else, has gone very quiet, and it doesnt matter how experienced you are.
Guess Im lucky in a way. I have no mortgage, no children, and can move to find a job if necessary. I just wondered how and what people think that are being directly affected by all this?
I may be shot for this, but there's alot about Communism that I actually agree with! All equal, and all that. Unfortunately, human nature makes that difficult. Everyone, myself included, have wanted "things", that improve my social standing.
