As an owner of 2 canoes (1 in Florida & 1 in NJ), I just thought this was rather interesting; a kayak made of clear acrylic.

I suppose that if you use it in muddy waters, it won't make much of a difference, but where waters are clear, it could allow some interesting views - both for the kayaker and the sharks or alligators below.
