I think it has a lot to do with how your parents behaved... if they were happy together... you don't fear the possibility, if you saw constant strife... you fear it might happen to you. Our reality is based on our personal experiences... whether wrong or right, you either grow beyond it or you can't.
You wouldn't know the joys if you hadn't endured the sorrows and tribulations.
That's the difference between an optimist and a pessimist I suppose... if some pain makes you retreat from living your life to the fullest possible, you get stuck in fear. I guess I simply refuse to be fearful of things that won't kill me and have the added benefit of bringing those delicious moments of bliss that make living all worthwhile.
I've always been curious about why the Brits have all this negative fuss about redheads.... could someone explain it? No souls??? That's just weird... and silly.
Italian, French, understand most of Spanish, some Romanian... and some English/Scots/Irish accents (depending on where they're from ). Then again lived in Wales for 6 months... and couldn't learn a word of Welsh.
Sure, if there is a real interest.. I do a control cam on a messenger in real time.... some folks have high profile jobs etc, so it's not necessarily a lying frog issue. Better than endless typing with no visual connect.
Hey it ain't real til it's in real time, with real people.
Just came back from dinner with friends... and am really happy to see the direction the thread has taken... good on ya guys !
Yeah I believe that too .. after watching years of friends go thru the hot and cold of all that madness ... but they do grow up and get over it eventually... well most of em.
Which is why I thought the guy needed some acknowledgement, as he was on the hot seat for voicing real concerns about his place up to now on the planet, honesty does not deserve to be flamed.
I personally don't think you are depressive or a whinger... just voicing the facts of your life as you know them... and I think you have every right to do that here without a bunch of people, who don't even know you.. pouncing thoughtlessly.
Darlin'... you're 22, you will be rewriting yourself many times before your boat comes home to shore... but keep pondering and reflecting, makes for much more interesting people who actually learn to know themselves. Good job.
RE: Love at first sight - Is there such a thing?
