I think that many people who have been hurt in the past automatically go through some stages before there really ready for anything serious again.
At the end of a bad relationship while reflecting on it they often go for mr/mrs wrong and instead opt for mr/mrs right now. Be it a fling with someone thats never going to go anywhere or a number of one night stands. During that period there more likely to either turn down flat mr/mrs right or hurt them simply because there not ready yet.
Its up to use to work out if there ready to get involved with.
I am a mixed bag of old fashioned values and moder attitudes. Marriage is something i do still believe in. But maturity and experienc makes most people shy away from the notion of marrying after a few heavy falls. imo

It is not the mistakes people make in spelling that makes that person its the content of what they say thats acts and does that is. But pointing out other peoples errors or abilities in writing is pedantic.
Pedant... 1.A person who is overly concerned with formal rules and trivial points of learning.
2.A person who emphasizes his/her knowledge through the use of vocabulary.
I am sorry to hear about your loss and I have no wish to make light of that. But.. You would tell a 22 year old beautifull strumpet that smokes to jog on even if she implored you to take her on?
What is the one thing that will put you off a potencial partner? They could float your boat in every way exept one. But that one thing is enough. Bad teeth,breath,children,body odore,does not drive,liers,bullies Whatever.
Then do yourself a favour op... Stop analyzing your op on analyzing because if you analyze it you will see that your being too analitical about this subject. HTH.
From my experiences in the last forum I was in you can not bank on what you read from the posts of formites alone either!!
Some of the most agreeable and eliquant posters can turn out to be much more avoidable that those who are none pc or dont give much thought to what they say!!
