A man who did so much for hockey especially in Vancouver and the rest of Canada. We're still feeling the effects of what he did for the Canucks and those who learned from him . What a legacy.
We have a lot of good comedians in Canada. We need the humour to get through the bad winters. My favourites are Jim Carrey, Mike Myers and Martin Short.
I like British humour. I remember staying up late at night to watch Benny Hill. Got a kick out of him. Then use to watch On the Buses with my Grandparents. Had a few good laughs watching that.
Lots of good American ones too. Too many to mention except Robin Williams was probably one of the best.
@Robbie That's great you saved and adopted them! And esp since they are black cats which as you know don't get adopted as much!
I'm sure you'll be making sure they get the shots they need. Some people don't bother and it's sad to see so many cats suffering from very contagious and deadly diseases like feline leukemia and FIVS (Aids).
A few good names are Panther, 8 Ball and Ninja. I like Ninja a lot. I think that name really suits a cat!
You could at least include the Montreal Canadiens! They will do better then some of those teams! Even the Vancouver Canucks or Toronto Maple Leafs!
As for who will win? That's always tough to predict. LA, Chicago, Boston? I'm getting pretty tired of those teams though. I hope for a team that has never won before or in a long time (but not in a lame hockey market area!)
Easy, ditch him. Don't know why you'd want a boyfriend who still lives with his ex? He's probably still sleeping with her. Are you sure she's really an ex?
In Canada Ecigs with nicotine are banned but I'm sure there's probably some sold underground. If you try to import it yourself there's a good chance it will get caught and seized at the border.
Locally they are even trying to ban the ones without nicotine. They aren't regulated and don't like how they're being sold to minors esp with the candy flavours. And some say it could lead them to using real smokes. Also people smoke them indoors so they are worried about 2nd hand smoke and said they contained chemicals such as propylene glycol, nitrosamines and even heavy metals such as lead.
I have seen guys smoke them on the skytrain and bus. The first time on the skytrain I was a bit surprised and found it odd since normally regular smoking indoors/enclosed area isn't allowed. I thought it was a bit forward of the person to do it. When it happened on the bus the guy was right near me and I smelled it and inhaled it. I thought it was rude. I think if you're vaping you should respect the people around you and still smoke outdoors. In saying that I don't really care if they smoke them around me it's just the lack of respect that bothers me more.
Women get a heck of a lot more emails than men. I use to answer each and every one but it took many hours every day to answer them all. It was too time consuming. There's not enough time in the day. I didn't want to put filters on my email then as I thought it was a bit rude to block people but now I do as it's easier but now I don't get any mail! Probably helps what I put on my profile as well.
@Soonergal If a guy doesn't call/text you just move on. I wouldn't wait around. For a lot of guys the easiest way out is just to walk with no explanation. Cold, but that's the way it is. They don't want to deal with it.
But now you say he has contacted you again? I think if you have known him for a year and he constantly does this then sorry to say I don't think he's that interested in you. If he was he would make more of an effort to keep in touch and not leave you hanging. I would stop communication/delete him from FB etc. or still remain a friend but just don't be there as much, stop initiating contact. Gradually you'll both drift apart.
He's well known in Canada and to US hockey fans. A lot of Europeans know him too because of the Olympics and if any follow the New Jersey Devils since there are Europeans on the team.
Ah, we know about soccer but we're more crazy for hockey. Soccer is growing here though. Women's soccer is doing quite well. Canada is one of the top teams. We are hosting the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2015. And I heard the other day we are going to bid for the 2026 men's cup which would be cool. Hopefully by then we'll have a better team. I think we don't have a strong team because most guys play hockey and some of the good soccer players play for other teams internationally which is funny cause guys abroad play here as well.
