RE: What is the ideal way to date long distance

I think your wrong maybe your comment fits a small percentage of people but I think most people enjoy being who they are
I always try to be myself and people can like me or not I`m happy being me and have nothing to hide

as for a ldr never had one but if I met someone and we were both attracted I don't think I`d rule it out[/quote

Daniel, I agree with you. I am who I am, reflects every fiber of my true self what you see and hear here.

I met the truest love of my life on the Poetry Corner three years ago. And yes what a beautiful world and life. I went there 5 times (NSW, 13 hours straight flight) in the duration of our 17 months love. He came to the US three times. We decided to both retire buy house in Greece (I already have mine in PI), he did as soon as he met me, and I needed one more year for my plans. While we both ended our love so pure and so divine for better calling on each of us, it was the most beautiful love of my life.

It is very expensive yet the adventure you experience with such a great love, to me is remarkable and beautiful. In the Poetry corner alone, we have 7 couples who until today are still happily married. Our friends with whom still communicate. Ireland and Ohio, India and NZ, NZ and Australia, England and Philippines. Now the latest is NSW and Spain.

It works for anybody who are both committed and do anything to make it so.

Injustice and destruction

I was in the gym and the show on television was all about man's injustice and destruction against one another.

I don't normally listen to this talk, so full of negative energy specially on such a beautiful early breaking of the dawn but can't help putting my "Stairway to Heaven" music on my Pandora just to give it a thought.

Question: when do you think others have done injustice to you and when we do to them?

Why is man more drawn to all these negative forces instead of let's say; love, kindness and generosity?

Thanks all for your participation.

Should have been "of" instead of "if".

Epirb, I can't laugh at you enough and it's not sarcasm. Pretense is one quality I have no use if. Hit me with any reason other than semantics and I'll offer you my whole heart and soul to be shredded but until then your claims are hollow.

My respects.

I can upload more of the reason why Hillary is a good choice but like I said there will always be pundits as well as supporters, whoever would stand among the crowds, there will always be those that are never happy.

I believe this will conclude our discussion why we should have a woman leader.

Thanks all for your participation.handshake cheers

All, may I direct you to the 5 pages on Google which will enumerate in detail about the outstanding accomplishments and experience of our woman. I copy pasted on the last page of my thread woman leader which I can upload here.

Sandra, my friend, copy paste it, will you?

Obama's success as president?

I think if you read the whole thread you'd find out majority of us, do say as you do. With the exceptions of a couple, we're agreeing him to be defective and incompetent.

Obama's success as president?

Exactly, that's what I meant. Meaning he's not supposed to be a president. Sorry for my over enthused sarcasm.

He's a big failure. frustrated

If we can believe Hillary Clinton sworn Congressional testimony. When Benghazi was occurring......she was on a small south sea Island....attending a festival and dancing with the locals.

Now Madileine Albright...another sect of state....did not seem to attend many of these kinds of functions. Nor did Condelezza Rice. Powell, Baker, Schultz, Kissinger, or today's John Kerry have much time for such festivities. But on the night of the Benghazi attack, someone in her office has found a little known island festival and arranged for Hillary Clinton to attend.

In other words, they had taken her out of Washington...to put her on a island while one of her Ambassador was being attacked and killed. Had they solid intelligence on the coming attack.....do you think Hillary Clinton would be dancing at a island festival? No. So clearly again they had no intelligence to the coming threats to Ambassador Stevens.
Who had requested multiple time in the recent past for additional security. So he knew the situation.

So I suggest that Hillary Clinton on the night of Benghazi was out of the command loop of the State Department. She could not make a decision to send in the rescue unit or not. She was busy dancing the night away. That is not being competent.

So it looks like you answered your question very much in her favor.

She was always under some orders, you know that, I know that. Had she been put to some pow wow so this conniving no good president can carry his own agenda of selling us out to the enemy, you should account them for this specific failure.

I will get back.

You'd be surprised at what her pundits can throw in. No one is perfect, as smart as you are we both know what are the plus and minus asset or defect of anyone.

In all her flaws I stand behind her.

On the earlier part there's a mention of Rice, who to me is quite good but given her compassion coupled with her leadership ability, she's the best I can think of.

Obama's success as president?

What a joke indeed.

Leadership Qualities:

VISION -  As a young woman at Wellesley College and later at Yale, Hillary Clinton was always running for positions in leadership or getting involved in political clubs.  Ironically, she started college as an active Republican and campaigned for Barry Goldwater in 1964.  Her switch in party affiliation came in 1968 when her class was taken to attend a sermon by Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. a resonating and revolutionary Democrat.  She was introduced to King after the sermon, later reflecting that her encounter with him became a defining moment of party conversion for her.  After his assassination of 1968 took a toll on her she made the full switch to a Democrat.  By this time she was a senior at Wellesley College with a “new” political vision.   She was elected class president and was able to communicate her liberal platform of women’s issues and racial equality to her peers.  Hillary’s new vision remained a Democratic vision.

Her Democratic status resonated during her serve as First Lady.  She shared her vision for the concern of social issues by supporting the Children’s Health Insurance Program as well as women’s rights through the means of The Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women.  She gave a women’s rights speech March 4th, 1999 which displayed her true stance on women liberal issues.  Hillary talks about the issues women faced in the United States as well as other countries and about how she as first lady had seen so many upsetting situations.  In this speech, she voices her desire to change these situations and the vision she has of a world where women are equally respected among men.  Through her self reflection and an unexpected Democratic influence, Hillary formed a powerful and unwavering visionwhich has been carrying through her political journey ever since.

POLITICAL SKILL – Within the 21st century, Hillary Clinton has been on a rise on the political spectrum.  She has come a long way from being a college student with a mere vision.  Now she holds experience, power, and a purpose for what she stands for and has demonstrated an upward mobility in political skill.  In recent years she has had to overcome obstacles within her political career which in turn has enhanced and strengthened her skills in politics.  Being a respected woman in politics has not been an easy feat but Hillary has learned the tricks and turns around her gender prejudices.   Within the last five years Hillary has had to learn to overcome political obstacles, such as media scrutiny, to redefine her skill set.  During the 2008 presidential campaign she lead a competitive campaign all the way to the end.  She learned how to react to harsh media and political criticism from the public for being a woman running for president.  Although she took a campaign approach that displayed too strong of an image and ended up failing to claim the Democratic nomination, she accepted and evolved her skills as a result.  By the end of her race in 2008, Hillary delivered a moving and heartfelt speech in Portsmouth, demonstrating the growth she achieved from beginning to end of her campaign.   This speech became a defining moment for her as she showed a  “change in voice” – a more charismatic leader.  Her campaign showed great adaption in the way that she changed her image in order to appeal to the public, even though it proved to be too late.  This presidential running was an example of how Hillary showed mastery of political skill.
