I'm a conservative...
It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. I grew up in a conservative household. Toothpaste? Yeah, we pulled the tube against the edge of a desk to squeeze out every bit. I remember once (or twice) having to completely flatten it for a family member! It wasn't that we didn't have another tube to open, conservatism was our lifestyle.
Getting ready to go out and the a/c was turned off way before we made it to the front door.
My mom used to walk around and see if a light was on... someone had better be using it.
Food in my house didn't go to waste. Salad dressing... much the same. If a few teaspoonfuls were left at the bottom of your bowl... you were wasting it.
My dad had a pretty good memory too. He could tell you what he had for dinner on the first Monday in September 1967... Sunday's leftovers!
Conservative... I am.

I have been raised in a family who believe that those who are wasteful are brothers of the devils.
I only have light on in the room I'm in, have practically no food waste, etc. What l do have either goes to the wormery, birds or dogs, zero to landfill.
I still would find it hard to describe myself as a conservative though
jb, I'd be wary of toothpaste from Dollar Tree, especially if it's off-brand. Who knows what personality altering chemicals could be in the formula!
