If 'Crats perceive The Don to be unbeatable (quite likely) they'd be better off sending in a sacrificial lamb amenable to corporate donors.
It'll keep the cash cows milking to fund candidates further down the ballot & maybe keep 'Publicans from running the table (Prez, Senate & House) like they did in the bloodbath of '16.

JimNastics,I've always had respect for you and I still don't support either political party but I have my doubts about Trump being impeached.
Like you, I don't support any political party either.
However, since the formation of the Tea Party within the Republican party,
the Republican party has gotten much worse.
Also, Trump has ALREADY been impeached.
Perhaps you mean doubts about him being removed from office.
It may take some changes in the senate after November.
But time will tell. The senators did swear to uphold the Constitution.
Lets give them the chance to fulfill that promise to America.
If they don't, they should also be removed from office.
We don't need senators ignoring their sworn duty in favor maintaining their political party.
However, that doesn't mean it won't eventually happen, as it should. It should be a level playing field for all candidates and they should be telling the truth. Do you have a problem with either of those ?

It's just a matter of WHICH changes will take place and this is not yet determined.
However, those changes should be beneficial to the public.
Instead, lets make it fairer for future candidates.
The funding should not be viewed as theirs. It should be a pool that the public allows equal access for ALL candidates to equally disseminate HOW they would improve the future. There should be no funds provided for bashing other candidates.
The Bern might be jiggy with the concept. He's gotten used to it.
