Political Interference

Need I say more?

Oh, but I will...

A disgruntled judge going after Trump for Biden and the democrats. Be hard to prove that Trump knew he lost. Another dumbest charge added on to all these other dumbest charges.

It's all politics. They're bringing it onto Trump now all because he's the frontrunner. The demo are scared, that's why they're using their two tier justice system.

What goes around comes around!.

The best defense is not to get involve with the judicial system.
We have seen how innocent people are criminally charge, the perpetrators get non or short punishments, and some judges get monetary kickbacks.

The liars (lawyers) are stories in it selves.
Trump is a proven criminal, so the fact he is facing a multitude of court appearances should be no surprise.
He faces 34 felony charges of falsifying New York business records “to conceal damaging information and unlawful activity, this alone should make people think, 34 is an unprecedented amount of charges, 10 would be bad, 34 is disgraceful for someone who purports to represent an entire country.
Anyone thinking the charges are unreal needs to wake up and smell the coffee.
Try waking up. Those charges came out of N.Y. which is heavily democrat with the people and the democrat forces that runs it. Same as D.C.

You and others like you fear Trump.
BTW, Trump's poll numbers are higher than what they were when he first ran.

A lot of people can see what's going on. The democrat party trying to take out their big rival with their tei bit tier justice system. What a joke!
Having heard the charges, I'm not sure Trump knowing he had lost is relevant.

Even if he whole-heartedly believed that he had won, insurrection wasn't the legal protocol for challenging the election outcome.

If someone thinks they've paid too much tax, robbing the Inland Revenue rather than applying for a rebate will lead to prosecution.

I'd be very surprised if the case against Trump is based on superfical evidence, or flippant reasoning. The more high profile a case, the more confident the prosecution will want to be before indicting.

Of course there is a political element because no one in their right mind would think a perfidious person with minimal self-restraint a reasonable candidate for the presidency. It's lazy, or delusional, however, to think that politics is the only basis for the various charges.
If Trump thought he won, which I believe he did think that, then he has a right to his opinion under the first amendment, and is protected with the presidents position he held to challenge the election results the way he did in calling into question with some of the toss up states that were close.
Pot calling the kettle black..how many crimes and near crimes have half the politicians in DC committed. Think an honest congress person becomes a millionaire due to their salary? Biden is a big crook and flim flam artist. Now he is a senile puppet.
I am so sick of this crap over Trump, I will vote for him if he serves his POTUS from jail!
ENOUGH ALREADY you scared Dem rabbits!very mad frustrated
Trump wrote:

This is merely an attempt to stop a man that is leading in every poll, against both Republicans and Democrats by wide margins, from running again for the Presidency. The reason I am leading in the polls is because Democrats have caused record inflation, sky high gas prices, energy dependence on our adversaries, the education system is in crisis, illegal aliens are invading our border, the supply chain has crippled our way of life, parents can’t get baby formula, mandates have crippled businesses, and our way of life has been crushed by government regulations. The United States is being destroyed.
The Democrats know that I would correct all of this, and they are doing everything in their power to stop me – but we can’t be stopped. We have to Save America.

Trump is known for his grandiose statements...and what a stretch it is to say Trump is popular...

Too bad for both parties that they decided on the oldies and did not think about backing bright youthful people that are willing to work together no matter what party they are in...
Build an island for the Christian extremists and others who are backwards and dangerous ...let them deal with their own shit...

The First Amendment isn't an excuse for a free-for-all with no consequences. The right to freedom of speech doesn't include speech which violates other laws, or result in illegal actions. For example, you can't pubicly call for, nor plan a murder, regardless of your personal opinions about that murder, or murder in general. It never ceases to amaze me how many US citizens can't grasp that concept.

As for the protections of the presidential position, you might find this interesting:

Any practical protections Trump might have had as a sitting president no longer apply now he's an ex-president.
yes Trump won by a long country mile, I got a copy of the votes that were cast. Times I've posted them on here they have been removed but I got them
Trump was stabbed in the back by Pence and then Biden announce he was the winning candidate even though he got lot less votes than Donald Trump Trump lost in his own party when he was stabbed in the back by Pence who left the Catholic Church and became an evangelical, born-again Christian.

Pence Said to Have Told Trump He Lacks Power to Change Election Result
A day before he presides over a joint session of Congress to ratify Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory, the vice president tried to lower the president’s expectations while seeking ways to mollify him.
“The Vice President has the power to reject fraudulently chosen electors,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter on Tuesday morning, an inaccurate assertion that mischaracterized Mr. Pence’s largely formal and constitutionally prescribed role of presiding over the House and Senate as they receive and certify the electoral votes conveyed by the states and announcing the outcome.

Mr. Pence does not have the unilateral power to alter the results sent by the states to Congress. etc etc

Key Points

Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday refused President Donald Trump's demand that he try to block the confirmation of Joe Biden's election as the next president of the United States by Congress.
Pence said in a letter that he did not believe, as Trump has claimed, that a vice president has the unilateral power to reject Electoral College votes for a candidate.
As Pence released his statement, Trump was speaking at a rally outside of the White House, where he reiterated his call that the vice president undo Biden's election.
PS I have copied copy of the vote count to an Australian Minister

Wrong , wrong , wrong

In your imaginary view of USA you are right.

But when blm says - we want dead cops and five cops in Dallas were murdered what charges were brought?
There is contradictory information in this comment, so I'm guessing some of it is a quote and some of it is your opinion.

Without appropriate punctuation, or spacing I'm confused, Rob.
Trump didn't avacate the violence that took place.
Could you explain the charges to me, please, and how your opinion above relates to them?
Exactly. Deeply corrupted, but Trump they go after.
Paint him as the villain. The ones who buy that must be having blinders on.
When you talk like this Jac, are you naive or stupid? A friend wants to know.

Listen, J6 was arranged. The election 2020 was stolen.
That was done by the Democrats. The same ones who claimed
he had peed on hookers in Moscow janury 2017 via the Steel dossier.
FBI work for them too. Anything esle you need to know. I could draw you a map.
January, else.

Have a good one. tip hat
then you might research it yourself
More Dirt revealed in Congress on the Bidens, and BLAM,another Indictment on Trump! Seems Alinsky is alive and well!

How should I go about researching your opinion, Rob?
The sooner Trump is re-elected the sooner he can start cleaning up the absolute mess of Biden the criminal.cheers applause
People like these will never 'wake up'. They are too brainwashed to even know their a$$ from their head, thats what the system wants.
The word 'fear' is under-rated cos they realize its only a matter of time before the shit hits the fan and their evils get laid bare..laugh
Be hard to prove that Trump knew he lost.

How do you figure? confused Everyone close to him was telling him he lost including his attorney general.
Tell your friend the answer is BOTH.laugh
thumbs up thumbs up handshake
I watched his speech that day. He was charged with a lot of crap simply because of who he is and the threat to the democrats. All this is now playing out instead a year ago since he's running and is the leading candidate in the race and is polling even with Biden.
Easy, they were quick to believe a farce and were jumping off what they thought was a sinking ship and wanted to start aligning with who they thought the winning side was. Some of them knew the fix was in in my opinion.
Bill "Bagpipe" Barr, the Guy who covered for the Bidens?
He had those protections up until the moment Congress "pronounced" Biden the "Winner",and he still has all the protection the 1st Amendment affords every US-Citizen!
Firstly as it stands it's an accusation and he is innocent. Secondly the majority of the jury need to find him guilty beyond any reasonable doubt. Therefore if there are three or more Trump loyals on the jury he will not be convicted, assuming a 10/2 verdict is acceptable to the court.

The point here is how can one be absolutely sure that the election was valid and how can one overturn an election which may not have been valid. (I'm sure an attorney could word this better).

Is there anything in this case that could allow the judge to direct the jury to a particular verdict?

If he is convicted can't he still run?

But the main problem is this is only one of five upcoming cases?

Finally if he is convicted and Republicans win '24 he will be pardoned.
Or if Democrats win he may still be pardoned or released because their objective will have been achieved.
The judge assigned to the case is an Obama appointee and complete Democrat partisan. She ordered Fusion GPS' financial records sealed in 2017 - that's the firm that Democrats used to manufacture the fraudulent Steele Dossier that was used to try and falsely portray Trump as an agent of Russia (how ironic that this week it's fully confirmed that Hunter Biden received $3.5m from a Russian Oligarch who his dad then chose to leave off the sanctions list after Russia invaded Ukraine!)

This has every indication of being a Stalinist show trial. Assuming the trial takes place in DC and isn't moved, the judge will likely abuse her power to stack the deck against Trump and his defense, and in any case Washington DC is the last place that Trump or anyone aligned with him can get a fair trial (DC voted for Biden over Trump by a factor of 17 to 1!). That's not a jury of your peers. That's a jury of people who absolutely hate your guts.

Attacks by Trump on Judges appointed to hear his cases - he commonly makes claims of Clinton appointment bias and so on. Interesting tactic to claim the justice system is so politically biased, perhaps he is doing so planning to lodge time-wasting appeals based on unfairness.

@op Your words or a quote? To be verbally attacked by Trump as all have been and have no recourse except tp maintain integrity must of course rankle, but that is the Trump intention perhaps, hoping thereby to push them to exceed judicial impartiality.

@chancer That is an absurd and libellous assertion. Judges do not make such partisan decisions. You are swallowing Trump's claims of bias and letting them colour your thinking.
Lulz it was Mike Pence. Pence turned over plenty of notes to the special council.
Thus Trump was hit with,
-Conspiracy to defraud the United States
-Conspiracy to obstruct
-Obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding
-Conspiracy against rights(This one is nice as its roots are in the Civil War era).

J6 was a result of planning. Plenty of people have already been convicted to negate the "spontaneous" argument. (One could argue that the J6ers smearing their feces on the capitol walls was spontaneous but not the event itself).
.
Trump can always take the stand at his trial and present his voter fraud evidence in his defense.

Kudos! These pro-Trump soggy biscuit blogs are always a humorous read.
