Natural to Women

I was talking to a customer today about children. She mentioned that her daughter aged 3 years preferred shopping to going to the park and I jokingly said that she obviously likes spending money to which the customer replied as she left---'Yes it comes natural to us women.' Must admit retail therapy is great from time to time especially when I pick up a bargain or two.rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Yeah, at age 3 it's GREAT to spend money, when you don't have to work for it. laugh

I remember when i was 6 i once swapped one matchbox car (u know the metal ones 7cm / 2 inches long) for two less desirable ones. Afterwords i regretted the deal.
To buy it again was out of reach.
Great video morgan. My daughter didn't get into shopping until she reached her teens and I must admit I didn't get into shopping until I started earning my own money, like my daughter in my teens. My daughter says that when it comes to money I'm pretty careful and she's right. When I buy anything other than food I actually have to like the item and it has to be at a price I consider reasonable otherwise I simply won't buy the item. I've been known to walk in a shop, look around, not see anything I like and walk right back out again without buying anything. Thank you for your comments.
I never got into shopping. wink laugh
Sweet kitten, i know it sounds hars but this is one of the reasons i don't want children. I see how much my brother and friends and family have given he's two children of toys and any possible sporting equipment. It overflows in a way. Glad though he's two boys (my nephew's) now 11 and 15 got avalebilety to partisipate in sports. But its very fancy now, u can't just wear anything.
@sweetkitten4: doh It is amazing how fast we can spend money laugh grin >> Of course that's not good scold uh oh ..

But come one 3 years old!! wow confused I don't envy her parents laugh ..
Hi Sweetkitten:
I have two girls and neither one of them are ever eager to go to the shops unless there is something specific that they need or if the trio is planned for them (as in getting them stationery supplies, clothes, or shoes)

I taught them a long time ago that we get what we need first, and only after that do we consider what we want.
It doesn't sound harsh at all Morgan. With my two as coffeeminx says what's needed came first. Neither of my two ever asked for the named brands. With my son the most he ever asks for is money for a hair cut and to go and play football with the team that he plays for---gym membership. He is currently looking for a part time job and has so far gone to two interviews for jobs. Children learn about money from their parents. I saw the way my parents struggled in the days before we had Working Tax and Child Tax credits to help those of us with families on low incomes. When my son and daughter were 3 they were attending Nursery and in the holidays Mother and toddler groups.
