Todays buzz

As promised, here is the picture that
overwhelmingly won the vote to show yesterday. applause
As usual, you will likely have to click on it
to see the whole photo
.
It is a closeup of a bumblebee on a flower.
Don't worry, he won't sting you. grin

Since Thursday is the 22nd, I will be posting
a new photoalbum on another site with many more photos then.
I post new ones on the first, 8th, 15th & 22nd each month.

Jim you are a truely talented photographer.
Thanks C. I'm glad you enjoy the photos.
You are quite welcome my dear tip hat

I added that line in bold each time
since someone else missed it, when it wasn't bold.
Jim i am still going with the Chipmunk he.s so cute
He was a cutie, but you're the only one who voted for him. laugh
really i guess it.s the odd man out
Well, ironicly, the vote is to see which photo next.
You got your wish without a vote. peace
Great sounds good to me
I like all of them...They all are nice..
will there be more photos? what one will be next?
whats going on??????
Swiss - Yes, tomorrow I will probably post the Dragonfly on the wheat. peace

Murt - Just posting some photos that I took during the first week of July this year. Yesterday I posted a chipmunk eating
a magnola flower.
i think tat a wasp jim .. maybe i wrong ...
It's possible that in Ireland there is a different term
for this insect. However, here in the USA we call them
bumblebees.

Wasps look more like this (not my photo)

ha ha ha, u r true
Jim i have a question can i ask?
Where is another site that u always talk about.
with or without answer thanks, he he he
peace , joy and happiness to world
Good photo Jim. This is a bee. On that butterfly walk I mentioned in another blog of yours we came across some of these bees and the Park Warden pointed them out to us. I used to be terrified of them but I've overcome my fear of them. I am cautious of the wasps like the one in your other photo though because a few years ago one somehow found it's way into my bed and stung me on my big toe during the night when I turned over. Anyway I'm on close tonight, I finish at 2 am tomorrow so I wish you all a good evening.
thanks jim u learn something new every day interesting....
Finally, the long and awaited bumblebee....so beautiful and radiant.
You are welcome Murt. We can all learn something from each other, as we all have different experiences and fields of interests.

SK - ouch a bite by a bumblebee while you slept is definitely a rude awakening. I remember as a young boy that the boy across the street from me used to stomp on these bees in his bare feet while they were on clover. He did that UNTIL the inevitable happened. He got stung and went hopping into his house crying
He never did that again ! laugh

GL - Oh man, if I told you that site on my blog, the trolls would have an absolute fit. laugh
You KNOW how 10 fold jealous he is. crying
Jim, that's cool! But you should put your name above on the corner to us see it complete. But it is nice anyway!
Thanks for the suggestion E.
However, that placement would be too easy to
cut off or color over.
Unfortunately, there ARE some low lifes out there,
who have done this in the past.
I apologize that I have to do it this way instead.
Beautiful pic!... amazing clarity and detail!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. peace
I can see SB has a definite preference. laugh
You are quite welcome and I plan to post the
dragonfly picture tmorrow. tip hat
The only thing I can find on vinegar & stingers is
that it seems to be effective for stingers of box jellyfish and is often left at stations on the beach in the Phillipines & Australia. dunno
YEAH!!!!!!!....tomorrow is dragonfly pic, tomorrow is dragonfly pic, tomorrow is dragonfly pic!!!!....Thanx Jim!!...you're the bestest ever!!!!
It looks a cute bee too
You are quite welcome SB tip hat
