Whats the reason?
I honestly don't understand why men post their photos next to a supper new Ferrari or on a Harley Davidson bike, on supper shiny yacht. All that can be lie or borrowed!Why not to take their photo with their bank account statement on the background with name and $ amount, that would bring more clarity!

Once at a party some friend pointed out a guy to me. He said that fella will work his car into the conversation within one minute. I would not believe him so he introduced me to the guy and told me to time him.

It is a turn-off for me, because I think most if it is BS anyway and I'm allergic to that. Someone with some sort of character doesn't need to come out with stuff like that.
I refuse to do selfies or bathroom mirror pics... What? No friends? Makes one wonder.
I don't really care about what people think and I'm not out to impress anyone with my ride, but it does give folks some possible insight to my personality. Maybe. Perhaps. If they don't give into stereotypes.
But generally speaking, many guys do the photo thing to attempt to impress a lady. You can usually tell these guys by the scant written section of their profile. Same with women's profiles. It seems that the vast majorty of people do the photo impression thing and lack on the write-up. However, that is where you can learn the most about a person.

How are you? Like KN said, it is a turn off because it is not the exact motive of what they do, not for you or me, or for anyone else but THEM AND THEIR LOADS OF EGO...
