you worry me
This was a letter written by a Christian pilot to a Muslim doctor, who thought was being profiled while boarding a plane.Sent to me by a friend.
YOU WORRY ME!
I've been trying to say this since 911, but you worry me. I wishyou didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your color and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend in anymore. I notice you, and it worries me.
I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate, but I know that nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks.
On September 11, ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings, killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers.
The Palestinians celebrated, the Iraqis were overjoyed as was most of the Arab world. So, I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage, hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists. But I need your help. As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you, and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.

This letter is not mine but I agree with the points. If you don't state your reasons.
Your post yesterday is very disgusting and I can exercise what the rules are by deleting your comments as you're out of line.
This site allows us to post anything that is on our mind.
For your information Ian you're so base, obnoxious on your comments yesterday. I need a man? You're kidding me aren't you? I don't know you but if you know my man, you'd be so shamed with your remarks yesterday. You're so out of his league. His the greatest man kn earth as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't want to post his life on here nor my personal. He let's me do what I do because it's who I am. I fight for what's right. Killing is wrong. I don't hate peaceful people but like the letter says, today in my country, we're living in a very difficult way because the people we think who're peaceful are the very traitors when we're pinned against the wall.
Yes peace is what we all seek.
I am for peace. Lost 3 uncles in WW2 and my brother in preservation of peace.
THANKS. If what you say is true then I feel we should really examine what is our position and role on these teachings.
We know what is happening. We want peace, I do.
Now people claiming I'm not for it are wrong.
But talking about it gives me the freedom to express what I feel and think. Hoping we can avert Z disaster which is worse.
Here in my country, major political players are supporting nuking the whole muslim country.
Do I like it? Of course not, will it happen? I am not sure, but I DON'T SUPPORT IT. THIS WILL BE THE END OF THIS WORLD.
My sentiments are legitimate and valid just like most of us Americans feel.
And just like what the letter says, address the issue. You don't have to worry about me. Spreading hate is not my goal. Nor would I remain silent.
We're all affected one way or another on these issues.
You should really look at the problem rather than attacking me personally. After all the power and the strength of the rest of my fellow citizens in promoting a solution by nuking them is serious. And it's not from me nor will I contribute it. Talking about it is better than being silent.
