you worry me

This was a letter written by a Christian pilot to a Muslim doctor, who thought was being profiled while boarding a plane.

Sent to me by a friend.

YOU WORRY ME!

I've been trying to say this since 911, but you worry me. I wishyou didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your color and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend in anymore. I notice you, and it worries me.

I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate, but I know that nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks.

On September 11, ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings, killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers.

The Palestinians celebrated, the Iraqis were overjoyed as was most of the Arab world. So, I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage, hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists. But I need your help. As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you, and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.

Study: U.S. regime has killed 20-30 million people since World War Twocheers
After the catastrophic attacks of September 11 2001 monumental sorrow and a feeling of desperate and understandable anger began to permeate the American psyche. A few people at that time attempted to promote a balanced perspective by pointing out that the United States had also been responsible for causing those same feelings in people in other nations, but they produced hardly a ripple. Although Americans understand in the abstract the wisdom of people around the world empathizing with the suffering of one another, such a reminder of wrongs committed by our nation got little hearing and was soon overshadowed by an accelerated "war on terrorism."

But we must continue our efforts to develop understanding and compassion in the world. Hopefully, this article will assist in doing that by addressing the question "How many September 11ths has the United States caused in other nations since WWII?" This theme is developed in this report which contains an estimated numbers of such deaths in 37 nations as well as brief explanations of why the U.S. is considered culpable.

The causes of wars are complex. In some instances nations other than the U.S. may have been responsible for more deaths, but if the involvement of our nation appeared to have been a necessary cause of a war or conflict it was considered responsible for the deaths in it. In other words they probably would not have taken place if the U.S. had not used the heavy hand of its power. The military and economic power of the United States was crucial. This study reveals that U.S. military forces were directly responsible for about 10 to 15 million deaths during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and the two Iraq Wars. The Korean War also includes Chinese deaths while the Vietnam War also includes fatalities in Cambodia and Laos.

The American public probably is not aware of these numbers and knows even less about the proxy wars for which the United States is also responsible. In the latter wars there were between nine and 14 million deaths in Afghanistan, Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, East Timor, Guatemala, Indonesia, Pakistan and Sudan.

But the victims are not just from big nations or one part of the world. The remaining deaths were in smaller ones which constitute over half the total number of nations. Virtually all parts of the world have been the target of U.S. intervention.

The overall conclusion reached is that the United States most likely has been responsible since WWII for the deaths of between 20 and 30 million people in wars and conflicts scattered over the world.

"On Sept. 11, ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four planes in my country."

That's the FIRST - and foundational - misconception.
We cannot be sure what, exactly, was done. Nor by whom.
But that statement is uncontestibly untrue.

5 Planes Miclee

There was one that was going to take off from Newark Hew Jersey
Upon hearing of the Crashes..the Pilot decided not to Take off

All Passengers Disembarked
And four Arab looking men Ran as fast As they could upon disembarking the Plane...leaving their "Luggage behind

It was either going to be Crashed into the Capitol Bldg Od the White House................detective
Exactly Mic, and whoever think that these do called peaceful Muslims? There was a post on my thread who mentioned that the peaceful Muslims celebrated when this happened.
I can go and paste it here but it's okay Mic, how I feel differs from the rest of the world. But I stand with this letter.
All I know is I am not comfortable with the rest of those who think they are peaceful. If they were why respond with so much hostility?

How would they react if we did to their buildings and people and worse we would teach our children to kill all of them?
Mic were you on some other planet when 9/11 occurred?confused
When will people realise a posted video is proof of nothing. So a video shows people celebrating, so easy to fake what its for, or for them to be forced to celebrate while guns are pointed at them...
I am overcome with the same sentiments as this pilot.
Good morning Jim, I will respond to the mails later.

Thanks Jim.

Believe it or not I was in England during that time Jim.

Twazzle I am aware of your dealings with that part of the world. You are right in many ways with the sentiments shared by most. If only we can be sure as to who they side with when it comes down to the last breath. But of course, just like what the pilot wrote we never know.

In Australia where I lived couple of years ago, they don't associate themselves with any other cultures, just themselves and their first mark of terrorism was thwarted. They're now in jail.
Nam nahhh, let him banter, remember he's a figment of my imagination.
He's probably one of them. ..confused dunno

I think Nam has to make a steel one for this piece of work Jim.
He's kapal Muks, Jim.
Well Nam, sometimes I am not so "gentle". Especially when I am dealing with an agitator! grrrrrrrrr!
LJ,

I agree with you!thumbs up
There will be more of them to come Lindsy
So my Advice to you?

He's good at what he does Jim, agitator. Doesn't look at the original issue.

He could say: oh yes I feel how you feel based on the letter which is not true. He could say that and state his reasons.

Now all the points brought out by the pilot iz very true.
And I truly want to hear from those so called Peaceful Muslims, whom this letter is directed to?

Without being hostile, name calling or instigating bad feelings.
Gotta go now.motorcycle Things to do i.e. wash windows so I can see out.laugh
I'm ready Nam. Up to my last breath. I will not be silenced.

But like you said, peaceful, diplomatic, civil and calm.

No name calling, no disrespectful towards anyone.

Remember Serendipity? And Simmo? And Hans?

Where are they?
I just want for once what this letter means to anyone, that's all.

Come back later Jim.

Flying back today and back to California again next week.

My last specialist appointment before my trip to England and France.

Once AGAIN...None of this explains, nor implies, WHO did WHAT or WHY...
It DOES point out that the commonly held concept of what occurred is NOT what happened.

cowboy
How many casualties in those buildings Mic, and the people who really saw it happened?

Now these videos I've looked later, are not the same as when it was happening?

Now granting without admitting that it's true, how on earth did they pull it? And remained silent?

Mic, I would stay on the first version. Reason: then it makes the whole world stupid and crazy for not making any statements to question who's order it was?
guess, nothing worries u.....tongue
So I stick with the original story tgen.
What people know to be true doesn't matter, Lindsy.
What matters, is what they can be induced to BELIEVE...
even if it conflicts with what they know to be true.

Or violates physical laws.

The reaction described in the OP is a response to what occurred on 9/11.
So what happened on 9/11 would be relevant.
