Astronauts back on earth again today

Today astronaut Scott Kelly retuned safely to earth after 340 days in space.

Can you imagine spending a whole year off the planet ? Would you do it ?

Kelly said that what he missed most,
was being with the people he cared the most for. What would you miss most ?

I think I would miss family & NATURE.....the greenery, the animals, the bird songs,water in the form of lakes, ocean and rain, the seasons and sunrises,sunsets.Just so much that we take for granted!

The long term health effects of flying to Mars are very similar to those he experienced after a year in orbit. Hence the experiment. Now we need to find a healthy female volunteer so we can check for the side effects on females. Obviously if females can't take a year in space, then establishing future flourishing colonies on other places becomes a no=go,
We will also need to know the effects on children and also about child birth in space, Muuch more research is needed.
