911 victims to sue Saudi Arabia

Congress passes bill letting 9/11 victims sue Saudi Arabia, in face of veto threat.

Why would a president veto a very legitimate claim if we can prove that the respondent is guilty of this massive terror inflicted upon us?

Any ideas?

I believe there's 50 sons of the king, it's believed that not all of them are pro American.
Track and Non that's an honor. wave
I'm more curious really than anything Bon, although I can assure you if I were one of the many widows then I'd sure demand justice and won't stop until it's resolved.
Chaudri my friend, I get it that your perception is a compliment.wave
Chaudri it's not really if the objective is first to establish the innocence of my country that it's not an inside job, second to demand justice is a well worth fighting for.
John who's manipulating who is the question. If Saudi is doing that to their subjects and we, in return by our government, then it's as pathetic as a dead monkey and we're the stupid ones who allow it to happen.
Two things Mic, someone us guilty of this despicable act. Second, truth has to be established. Not yours, nor freemind, nor mine. The truth for the sake of truth.
In doing this I'm sure along the line we'll really know who's truth is it?
You joined us in killing millions in the war, how many you kill in vietnam and pearl harbour your war with Japan? Even your own countries history shows how many of your own people you killed,...
Phyllis,
The truth for the sake of truth.
That's the real issue. Who needs it, you, the masses of your great nation or the inhabitants of your planet? Who? doh
The unpleasant answer is none, than the insignificant minority of each region or country. Now-a-days a region or a country, have come to be synonymous.
Once upon a time, there was a country called 'America'.

We do will for the truth my friend.
Consider me also an open admirer of her virtues.
Women admire her strength, and she is also one helluva a poetress.
Scott, you are either delusional like most people do nowadays, including me, and or simply sold out with the idea that our governments are truly not serving the needs of the citizens. They lie and we are made to be fools believing them. Or even worst, we are resigned to fight for what is right and simply take and take what they do to us.sad flower

I am still hanging onto the last strength of hope that it is the other way around.
Ash, I am humbled by your admiration and I am thankful.teddybear

My dear Kaet, how nice of you to be here. wave yes Obama the worst person I have ever voted. I am dissatisfied and disappointed. frustrated
Well now that this opens the door, it works both ways. Parents of children deformed by Agent Orange in their drinking water in Vietnam can now soon sue the US. Relatives of those killed at wedding parties by US Hellfire missiles in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq can now sue the US. I see so many lawsuits coming from Syria and Libya I llose count. Yes, opening this door was a brilliant idea, not.
Wow that would make a lot of international lawyers busy.

Hmmmm, I can't wait to see how it fans out frustrated
Yep Z, who knows what's on his sleeves, we never know. sad flower
