on the topic of renewing relationships, long seemingly dead. Then there are those we sometimes hear of, whereby one partner is gravely ill, with little time left. The other team member gets re-involved. The reasons could be many. As with making timely total amends, a la AA. Guilt---always a big player. Getting in line of inheritance, and sometimes the motivation here comes from the dying person herself. Lessons/messages to children or family. Knowing that no hired help could ever do a better job assisting in death. And so on it goes. Human behaviors. WOW!

On March 30, blue did a nothing blog about a fermented drink called Kombucha.
He mentioned the name, said he put down his first batch and asked if anyone tried making some. The drink was unknown to me, so I did some research to see how it was made and decided it was not worth my time to do some experimental brewing.

To my surprise, I found some Kombucha locally on the refrigerated drink display at the grocery store. Some people claim about it's health benefits, so I decided to try it. Nearly $3 a bottle, I only bought 2. It was the 4th of April when I blogged about my findings giving blue full credit for his blog that inspired me to try Kombucha.

As a slap in the face, on April 5th, I was falsely accused of copying his blog.

No... in my blog I 'filled in the blanks' explaining what Kombucha actually was.
(yes, thank you blue for not explaining what Kombucha is, your commenters had to do that)

A week later it's reported that "Kombucha is so old hat Switchel is where it's at" Notice the quotation marks? I didn't say that. The original Kombucha author did. In an attempt to 'sour grapes' the Kombucha blog, he claims that Switchel is the sought after drink.

I won't be outdone with this exotic drink BS and have secured a small amount of nitro-methane that mixed with lemon juice, battery acid, eye of newt and clam shells creates a drink that will 'knock your socks off' but I have to do this at my home in Miami as the condo association rules forbid any volatile compounds on the premises.

Being a stubborn and independent old woman I need advice
Can somebody please tell me what's happened. I have laid 5 terraces all using the same method and composite decking, so it matches, yes I'm fussy like that. However the last one I've done has problems. The composite decking has decided to split length ways, not just one plank but at least 14 about 50% of it.
Any ideas would be good. yes i have asked my male friends, all i get is head scratching and yes one built his own house and the other a master carpenter.

I'm calling it Bootgate and you can quote me on that! Soon to go viral, people are wondering how tall Florida Governor Ron DeSantis really is. He's out on the campaign trail with hopes to be the 'chosen one' for the Republican party at the 2024 election. A man who's body shape and stature being shorter... he played baseball, so there should be some statistics on that. I think some stories claim he's are around 5'-7" or 5'-8" but mister 'boots' may be hiding something inside... lifts to make him taller. But, how much taller?

I've read that DeSantis has claimed he's 5'-11" and that would mean the lifts would bring him up at least 3 inches. Why the suspicion? One photo showed the toes of his boots are flattened... as if his toes aren't there. 3" lifts would do that as his heels get propped up, his toes wouldn't reach the front of his boots. Simple geometry.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

...Because they somehow see it will benefit their addiction to power, as with rank choice voting, the lefties are all behind this set up for typical Democrat Chicago style, voter fraud. The Kitty mentioned below,, peace be upon her, serves as one cautionary tale, ---when incompetent, jobs for life, paper pushing, non-essential, fat benies/pension, corrupt state employees have a hand in things.
Don't take my words for it. Ever watched a municipal road crew on the job, for sewer or road work, or such? A half dozen "workers" on site, one using a shovel, another operating the back hoe, and the rest smoking, laughing, and leaning on their tools.
Check out the government office mega-buildings in DC, or any state capitol. Be sure to have good binoculars to see the extent of most. The founding FATHERS would be rolling in their graves.
But wait, there's more. We all know how lotteries are run by the state. Only less than half is paid back to players. Most is for administration, and the general fund, to be pissed away, as above.
Next time you are lucky enough to win, especially if a lot, don't cash out where you purchased the ticket. Just write a grateful note, include your address, and say you trust them to receive the request and winning ticket, and to send you back the money. Don't sign the ticket.

You exchanged emails and photos with someone, one day you recognized that the person you are taking with actually is a scammer! He is NOT real! The photos he sent you are totally fake from someone he picked online while you sent him many photos of real your and your family, your life and your real photos!! :(
