I think we grew accustomed through the years to see blogs from time to time wherein people complain about abrasive blogs and/or comments.
Yes, sure; sometimes it has merit. Some people are rather nasty with the stuff they post, but I cannot help to have very little sympathy when the complaints come from people who made it their mission in the past to ridicule visitors to their blogs.
And then he cries wolf because he or somebody else is being ridiculed, complaining about true colors while his own true colors showed a long time ago. It appears that what goes around comes around and apparently some people don’t like the taste of their own medicine.
To sum it up, in a nutshell:
practice what you preach. You cannot expect a lot of sympathy from bystanders when you are beaten with your own whip. If you get a kick out of insulting people, then fine, it is your choice.
Carry on cowboy; by all means. I think most of us have learned to handle it. But don’t complain when you get your own back.
Cowboys don’t cry or, to put it more bluntly:
If you don’t like the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
Have a great day out there. Yes, you too!
Do any of you get a message or something in the flower box. And you answer with a polite thank you. And ask how there day is going. Then you never hear back. Does this happen to a lot of people here.
The slow elimination of American voters rights.....and no one is aware except maybe the conservatives...its like a frog in boiling water...wake up america.....Read the Haggerty News letters
I won't be on here much-so busy but will catch up when I can!!
Nothing new, same old ‘
stuff’
? Just a bit older and a bit closer to death? Another year of man-made and natural diseases and disasters? Another opportunity to begin again, to try to do better, to make new friends and meet someone that could be extra special?
Of course, it would mean different things to different people based on one’s hopes, and fears, too. The thing is, I think that this new year would probably be a mix of all of that and more, sadly with more of the negatives than the positives.
But… dwelling on the negatives is no way to start with anything that’s new. If I got a new house, car, job or boyfriend tomorrow I’d only be imagining the possibilities, not the unforeseen problems that could arise. I’d have a smile on my face and a skip in my step, in anticipation of the ‘what’s next’.
“New” usually means ‘better’, so… just maybe… this coming year will be better. If not as it relates to the current global situations, then at least for each one of us in our personal life. Fingers and toes crossed
.
Have a fantastic New Year, everyone. Blessings!
If so how?
Some think wars are made to promote greed. Some say it is done to resolve conflict. I say, it's because evil and good exist.
Meantime many innocent lives are lost.
Question is, when it's going to end?
Anyone?
A very sad world we live in. I wish all is peaceful and calm.
Do you?
If Socialism is all about sharing then why won't Bernie share his fries?
I need perspective...and I am therefore open to different opinions.
Background:
I'm a trained Industrial Psychologist and left a good job in Johannesburg to move closer to my folks last year December. My dad is bed bounded for the past 15 years and my mom had polio as a little girl. Most of my family is in Germany, I'm the only child, couldn't find a life partner as yet and do not have any children. Just as I arrived in the Northern Cape, my mom fell and I have two bed bounded folks I have to take care of.
Question:
Now, I need to know if there are any other people who also sometimes wonder as to why bad things happen to good People?
I'm not Miss Perfect, but I try to be good and do good where ever I go. So, tell me why does life have to be like This? Am I the only one who are maybe too critical when it gets to why things happen the way it Does?
PS: Remember to give the people you know who are caregivers a special hug this Christmas, as it could be very much needed.
