Ninth Circuit Court Rules Border Wall Must Be Short Enough That A Pregnant Woman Could Scale It

Ninth Circuit Court Rules Border Wall Must Be 'Short Enough That A Pregnant Woman Carrying A Child In Each Arm Could Be Expected To Scale It Without Difficulty'

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Amid heated debate in Washington over President Trump's border wall, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has weighed in, ruling that construction on the U.S.-Mexico border wall can proceed, so long as it is "short enough that a pregnant woman carrying a child in each arm could be expected to scale it without difficulty."

While that definition may seem vague to some, the Ninth Circuit's judges further clarified in their decision that "two or three feet high ought to suffice." Contractors working on the wall have been ordered to have a pregnant woman and several children on hand. Each family will be asked to stress-test climbing over the wall every ten feet to ensure all portions of the barrier are equally easy to scale. Should the sample woman have to exert herself too much, construction workers will have to lower that part of the wall.

"We are in full support of President Trump's right to secure our nation's borders, so long as his actions do not cause undue burden on those trying to get into our country illegally," the court wrote in its decision.

The Court further assured Americans that is decision is in keeping with the Constitution, claiming that they googled "What is the Constitution?" and "Constitutional Law for Dummies" several times during deliberations.

What Happened To Waterbeds?

Of course, the great selling point was sex. One ad said the waterbed is very good for two things; one of them is sleeping. Another ad claimed that she’ll admire you for your car, respect you for your position, and love you for your waterbed. devil

But then waterbeds were nothing new. The Persians had them in 3600 BC when they filled goatskin bags with water. During the 1800s medical doctors used something similar for patients with bedsores and/or TB. They were reinvented during the late 60s and became popular during the 70s. During the late 80s, nearly one in four mattresses sold were water bed mattresses, and in the 90s they quietly went out of fashion leaving thousands of water mattresses in warehouses. Most dealers will tell you that it is years since they last sold one. mumbling

By the 80s, at the height of its popularity, waterbeds were available in a variety of styles, from four-post Colonials to Victorian beds with carved headboards to simple, sturdy box frames. Allergy sufferers liked having a dust-free mattress, while back pain sufferers were drawn to the beds’ free-floating quality. sleep

So what happened? How did our enthusiasm for sleeping on liters of pure H2O go down the drain so quickly?confused

These beds were probably just too cumbersome. Apart from the constant possibility of a flooded bedroom, they were prohibitively heavy; not just the mattress but also the supporting framework. It was a problem filling or draining the mattress. doh

During the early 90s when I decided to buy a new bed, a salesman tried very hard to sell a waterbed to me but he had to settle for the sale of a normal bed. I was not going to risk a woman getting seasick on my bed.grin

Why global warming is good for us - Climate change is creating a greener, safer planet

Global warming is real. It is also – so far – mostly beneficial. This startling fact is kept from the public by a determined effort on the part of alarmists and their media allies who are determined to use the language of crisis and emergency. The goal of Net Zero emissions in the UK by 2050 is controversial enough as a policy because of the pain it is causing. But what if that pain is all to prevent something that is not doing net harm?

The biggest benefit of emissions is global greening, the increase year after year of green vegetation on the land surface of the planet. Forests grow more thickly, grasslands more richly and scrub more rapidly. This has been measured using satellites and on-the-ground recording of plant-growth rates. It is happening in all habitats, from tundra to rainforest. In the four decades since 1982, as Bjorn Lomborg points out, NASA data show that global greening has added 618,000 square kilometers of extra green leaves each year, equivalent to three Great Britains. You read that right: every year there’s more greenery on the planet to the extent of three Britains. I bet Greta Thunberg did not tell you that.

The cause of this greening? Although tree planting, natural reforestation, slightly longer growing seasons and a bit more rain all contribute, the big cause is something else. All studies agree that by far the largest contributor to global greening – responsible for roughly half the effect – is the extra carbon dioxide in the air. In 40 years, the proportion of the atmosphere that is CO2 has gone from 0.034 per cent to 0.041 per cent. That may seem a small change but, with more ‘food’ in the air, plants don’t need to lose as much water through their pores (‘stomata’) to acquire a given amount of carbon. So dry areas, like the Sahel region of Africa, are seeing some of the biggest improvements in greenery. Since this is one of the poorest places on the planet, it is good news that there is more food for people, goats and wildlife.

But because good news is no news, green pressure groups and environmental correspondents in the media prefer to ignore global greening. Astonishingly, it merited no mentions on the BBC’s recent Green Planet series, despite the name. Or, if it is mentioned, the media point to studies suggesting greening may soon cease. These studies are based on questionable models, not data (because data show the effect continuing at the same pace). On the very few occasions when the BBC has mentioned global greening it is always accompanied by a health warning in case any viewer might glimpse a silver lining to climate change – for example, ‘extra foliage helps slow climate change, but researchers warn this will be offset by rising temperatures’.

DECLINE OF UNIONS IN AMERICA

The Trump economy.

Jobs for America caused by the boost in workforce and a booming economy is cause for the decline in unions in America. No more union dues. More take home pay for workers. Who needs unions when we have a president like Donald Trump. Trump's speech in Orlando and the following he got proves America is behind him 100%.

Foreign auto makers in the US are all non union. The latest being Volkswagen in Tennessee. Who needs them? This is a trend. Bye bye union thugs. Nice knowin' ya.

Jobs flourishing. Unemployment lowest in years. No more need for unions.

Greed

This world is driven by greed. People are greedy creatures and the only way to keep them happy is to give them what they want. Failing that, you get an unhappy world like we have today. thumbs down

By definition greed is a selfish and insatiable desire for material gain, be it food, money, status, power or whatever. professor

Embedded image from another site

Greed is often confused with ambition. Some people will tell you that if not for greed, we’d still be living in caves but that’s not true. It is ambition that got us here; greed only works in the short term. When a sickly and insatiable desire to possess more than what one really needs leads to a condition where 10% of the population possesses 90% of the wealth while the bulk of the planet live in poverty, then something very wrong. The problem with greed is that you never get enough. You always want more; even at the expense of others. sigh

Exactly what people want, is not always easily discernible. Some may yearn for material things like money, real estate, jewellery, fancy cars and so forth while others may have more abstract desires like fame, popularity, status, attention, and the likes of it. And then there is another category whose greed is spurred by what other people possess. Greed and envy is an unholy combination.uh oh

There is nothing wrong with being prosperous – or rich if you prefer – we need rich people on the planet. They provide employment to the masses but when somebody ignores needy people when they can afford to help, or even worse, when somebody who can afford to buy his own bread, takes the bread out of the hands of somebody less privileged, we need to look at our system.help

The sadness of it is that the greedy – with all their possessions – are not happy. You cannot be happy while there is still something that you crave for.doh

Are the old CS posters on Strike? I welcome some new people

Seems to be very quiet on CS lately and wondered if the old posters are on strike or maybe they have met another and too busy now having sex to post on here?

Regarding new members: Maybe new members just won’t post on the blogs, because they don’t have much to say, so they just sit back and read what others say?

I say to these people to start posting your views, writing a blog and joining in on here.

You could write about yourself, write about things going on in society, write a poem, talk about the things you enjoy, post music videos or share important information like I have.

I wrote a menopausal blog to help women, who suffer with it and also educate men on the menopause, so they know what to expect, when dating a woman suffering with it and understanding the problems that may arise in the bedroom, so check it out and read.

Just to be clear: When I say I welcome new CS members, I do mean new CS members and not trolls with fake male or female, profiles returning and pretending to be new.

I only have this one profile and have always been affective enough with this profile, so I say to anyone else, who posts on here to stick to the one profile and let's see how you get on.

Enclosing: you can learn many things from blogging and some information might even make your life better
wink

Hope to see some new and interesting people join the blogs soon

The "Affluenza Teen"

Good morning everyone.wave

I am not here to bring bad news but trust me on this one, it is for all of us to learn. Both as parents and the (In)Justice applied in the case.

The title of the news is: "Will the Affluenza Teen's Mom be charged Now That Her Son is Detained in Mexico"?

Anyone who has been following on the story would know that first of all, it was wrong to create a term like Affluenza just to make an excuse of the accountability of killing four people. Second, that being rich and think wealth can make you get away with all the wrong things done, don't always work.

I would love to hear everyone's opinion on this one.

Affluenza: "a psychological malaise supposedly affecting wealthy young people, symptoms of which include a lack of motivation, feelings of guilt, and a sense of isolation" from Dictionary.

Thank you all for your reads and comments.

Note: I absolutely believe that there was a great injustice done to humanity on this one.
