Musk backed OUT on the Twitter deal

JUSTIFIED? He's being sued.

Counter sue is the name of the game.

Disclosing all of the current practices on this company, Musk is vehemently proposing changes such as transparency.

He's scrutinizing all the management criteria to make sure he's able to control everything specifically eliminating fraudulent practices such as fake accounts.

Obviously there's a lot of anomalous parts in the real number of accounts presented.

44 billion is the number. The latest today, 4/25/2022

Yipeeeee Freedom of speech guaranteed.

Quite honestly? I'd have preferred that he'd start one similar from ground up and that'd be better.
Well from Offer to rejection to finally closing it.

I couldn't be happier. teddybear

Yep that's the latest Today.dunno

When Will America Reach Peak Insanity?

Our American sensibilities are assaulted on a daily basis with claims that are widely accepted to be true and righteous even though they’re demonstrably false and malign. The falsehoods, exaggerations, and prevarications by omission are tearing at the fabric of the great American experiment in liberty. Which is exactly what they are designed to do.

Consider the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, acquitted (justly) last week of the homicide and reckless endangerment charges that should have never been brought against him. Not only was the prosecution malicious (for which the prosecutors should be sued), the web of lies that corrupted the entire case were in service of a nefarious political agenda.

Rittenhouse did not kill two black men and wound another, as some media outlets claimed. The men he shot in self-defense were white. Nor could it be said the men were mere protesters, as so many asserted.

Rittenhouse was also called a white supremacist, even by I’ll-bring-the-country-together candidate Joe Biden, though there’s no evidence that he is. It simply fit the narrative and that was good enough.

These examples are but surface coverage of the untruths politicians, the media and half-wit celebrities spread about Rittenhouse, because they saw the episode, from the self-defense shootings to the trial, as an opportunity to further demonize firearms and to make the streets safe for the “right” kind of protesting, which to the sane and decent among us is known as rioting by the left.

Meanwhile, the global warming lunacy continues to run free. No longer are the green shirts satisfied with replacing gasoline and diesel automobiles with electric cars, they want to get rid of cars altogether.

It might be an easy task, given that Democrats, aided by the media, want to financially break as many Americans as possible by passing asinine legislation such as the Build Back Better bill. If we follow the hard left that is now the center of the Democratic Party, we’ll have no choice but to use public transportation, because we won’t be able to afford cars after the law, if passed, has wrecked the economy.

Or so the left hopes. Either that or the Democrats will push us into crowded buses and subways because they’ve pushed the price of oil to unaffordable heights for most Americans.

Two years of pandemic have contributed as well to the outbreak of madness. The unvaccinated, whether they have natural immunity from a coronavirus infection or have been medically advised to forgo the shot, are treated like modern lepers, as are mask opponents, by politicians, “journalists,” and celebrities – the troika of knavery again – who cannot discipline their urges to control others nor their neurotic need to feel superior. All are to comply with their demand, or else.

We’re just getting started. The country is plagued with unhealthy racial and gender fixations; daily attacks on free speech; crime sprees where prosecution and incarceration are considered lamentable anachronisms; a vicious cancel culture; demands to defund the police; continued attempts to keep the Russia, Russia, Russia lie alive; Soviet-style purges of opinions and information from those the left wants silenced; and riotous Antifa and Black Lives Matter thugs. Readers, please feel free to add whatever comes to mind, because our list is merely a starting point.

It could be that what we’re calling insanity is actually a campaign of ill intent. But a degree of derangement has to be present. Otherwise, the movement would have been overwhelmingly rejected rather than embraced by a large enough portion of the public to give it traction. Unless we reach peak insanity soon, and begin a return to normalcy, the future will be a far harder ride than the ugly moment we live in.

SKY News Australia: Joe Biden “Cannot Survive” Fallout Over historic Afghanistan Disaster

Sky News Australia:

Joe Biden's presidency is finished and it can't survive the fallout over his administration's "messy" withdrawal from Afghanistan, according to Curtin University Professor Joe Siracusa.

Mr Siracusa said Joe Biden had an opportunity to withdraw from Afghanistan as "gracefully as he could" but it turned out to be quite "messy".

"And now he's angered 60 per cent of the American people for not doing it properly, Mr Siracusa told Sky News Australia.

"At the end of all this is that I think Biden has lost his credibility and I think the Biden presidency is finished – he can't survive this."

If

If the 2020 election wasn’t stolen:

-The 13 Marines in the botched #Afghanistan withdrawal would still be alive.
-The Taliban wouldn’t have billions of dollars of weapons.
-The wall would be completed.
-Americans wouldn’t be living paycheck to paycheck.
-Inflation wouldn’t be out of control.
-Russia would not have invaded Ukraine.
-North Korea would not have tested an ICBM missile.
-America would still be great. ????

Why the Jan. 6 hearing is a sham

Dershowitz: 'Never Believe Anyone Who Is Not Cross-Examined'

Retired constitutional law professor Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax on Tuesday that to be credible, witnesses must always be cross-examined, and that none of the Jan. 6 committee hearing witnesses has been.

''As a professor of criminal law for many years, and as one of the most experienced litigators, never believe anyone who is not cross-examined,'' Dershowitz said on ''The Chris Salcedo Show.''

''And none of these [Jan. 6 committee] witnesses are cross-examined.''

'It's as if a basketball team was sent out on the court, and the other team is held back and not allowed to present its defense of the players,'' he continued. ''It's one-sided. Don't believe it.''

Dershowitz said that the House select committee tasked with investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol building breach would have been much more credible had it accepted the Republicans initially selected to serve on the committee.

''They would have asked hard questions, they would have cross-examined, they would have presented contrary evidence and then the American public could make a decision,'' he said.

Instead, the hearings are being conducted in an entirely partisan way, Dershowitz said, much as the House Un-American Activities Committee hearings were.

He said that the goal of the Jan. 6 committee is to ensure that former President Donald Trump cannot run for president again.

''Although I voted against President Trump twice, I want to see a fair process,'' said Dershowitz, a self-proclaimed liberal Democrat. ''I want to see a fair election. I want to see no partisan misuse of House committees.''

Earlier in the show, Dershowitz said that when he watched the Jan. 6 committee hearings, the discussion revolved around threats that were made to people during the events of the day.

In light of the threats to conservative Supreme Court justices and their families over the potential overturning of the landmark 1973 abortion case Roe v. Wade, Dershowitz said that ''it’s so hypocritical.''

''Threats only seem to matter to Democrat politicians if they're directed against them, not if they're directed against people that they oppose,'' he said. ''We shouldn’t tolerate a double standard: A threat is a threat, violence is violence, no matter who it is directed against.''

An Eye For An Eye

I don’t believe that somebody who willfully deprived another person of his life, deserves to live. I’m not talking about killing somebody in self defense. Providing that minimum force is applied, anybody should have the right to protect his own life and property as well as that of another person or persons.professor

If anybody is killed while in the process of committing a crime (say a robbery or a burglary), all those participating in the crime, even the planners of the crime sitting at home, should be tried for murder. They should have foreseen that something of that nature could have happened.scold

And if a person caused the death of somebody else due to negligence or recklessness, he should be severely punished. If somebody failed to do something when he could have prevented the death of another person without endangering his own or other lives, he should be held accountable.sigh

Attempted murder should carry the same punishment as murder. Doing a bad job is no reason for mitigation. It is the intent that matters, not the outcome. If he intended to kill somebody, he should be punished to the same extend had he succeeded. What is to stop him or her from trying again?confused

Neither can politics or passion be offered as mitigation. You don’t kill somebody if you don’t agree with his political views. Inexcusable to say the least! shock

And love does not inspire murder. That is vengeance, caused by obsession, possessiveness, jealousy, or something else in that line. If the intent was to kill, it is murder.talk to hand

A Short Apology

Sometimes when I write blogs I never go back and comment. I apologize in advance if and when I do that lol. Not trying to offend anyone. I just get busy or I’m not even interested in what I wrote anymore lol.

I also do not respond to everyone that comments but I do read every comment.

Thank you!
