FLAGS.

What would happen if countries didn't have a flag? Would they suffer in anyway as a result? On major occasions like sporting events, why display a flag or wave it about? Would the athletes not perform as well if they couldn't see a flag? At protests, people turn up with their countries flags. Would they feel unrecognisable or inadequate without the item?
What would life be like without the material on a pole? Would countries still survive?

Parable of the Blind and Deaf.

Once upon a time there were two men.

One was blind and the other was deaf and dumb.

( I am fully aware of my political incorrectness. I spare the terms visually impaired and speech and hearing impaired for real disable people with all due respect. )

Getting back to the story..

The deaf and the blind meet at a pub called CS on a daily basis for socializing.

Politics is their main topic of discussion, but their disabilities have limited them in many ways to understand the true nature of politics.

The blind man shouts from one side about the stuff he read only available with braille language made available to him by Fox.

The deaf and dumb can't hear what he says. He knows only things that had sign language translations by CNN. He vigorously argues with sign language from another corner. But the blind can't see.

Rest of the pub watch and watch and watch. ( SICK AND TIRED)

Some call for the bartender to throw them out.

Some ask them to shut up.

Most have avoided the pub altogether. (This is the sad part)

The moral of this story is.... who cares.

In honour of Biff and Harbal. I hope they will be free to blog again.

If I offended anyone I am sorry to say I am not sorry. grin

REPORT: Biden “Not Sleeping Well,” Says He Wants to Go Home to Delaware to Sleep

According to a new report from journalist Jack Posobeic, President Joe Biden is not sleeping well and wants to go home to Delaware after taking a separate vacation last weekend.

Biden telling staff he wants to go back to Delaware. Hasn’t been sleeping well all this week. Thinks he will be more functional if he stays over at home in Wilmington,” Posobeic reported.

Just an hour after Posobiec dropped this tweet, WMAL News reported that Biden would in fact be going home to Wilmington, Delaware for a long weekend.

“President Biden, who has spent the last few days traveling between the White House and Camp David, is scheduled to head to Delaware for a long weekend,” WMAL News tweeted. “That’s according to the FAA’s website.”

When America needs him most, Biden is going home to sleep in Delaware.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Biden State Department delivered devastating news when they announced that they “cannot ensure safe passage” to the Kabul airport for Americans trapped in Afghanistan.

Procrastination

I shouldn't be here.
But I am.

I should be shooting photos, writing descriptions, taking measurements, weighing things.

But my kid is just down for the night, and the house finally quiet. And all I want to do is sit and enjoy it.

I don't want to think about the counter full, and boxes of, inventory that needs listed.

Or the grass and weeds that need attending to.

Trying to set up a decent place to take photos... since there is currently no room in a 4200 square foot warehouse. And won't be until the weather cools off enough I can go in and battle mud daubers and red wasps, so that room can be cleared.

Right now, I have to go through so much to set up to actually get work done, that I am tired before I even start.

And I know I should suck it up. The quicker I get this place taken care of, the quicker I can get out of here. Delta life is not my first choice. I've got mountains calling me 70 miles further west.

I'm slightly more motivated than the last few weeks. I've decided my reward for all this will be a vacation. 7 days away. By myself. Doesn't sound like much until you realize I've not had 24 hours by myself in well over 4 years. And it will be the first time I'll be away from my kid. I'd like to be greedy and say a month vacation, but I know 7 days the first time away is going to be about my limit. As it is I'm wondering if I'll be able to relax enough to enjoy it!

It'll be a moot point if I don't get busy!

The right to bear arms

Our Constitution allows any responsible citizen to own a gun for protection.

Our founders of this country had in mind that our protection is as important as our lives.

Some people think it should be changed because it's causing criminals to make killing faster and easier.

Really?

My question is, are these criminals not able to access these guns if this law is changed?
I don't think so.

What about you?

#Pink is the new Black

Today we are in the process of making the English language gender-neutral, and manliness, the quality of one gender, or rather, of one sex, seems to describe the essence of the enemy we are attacking, the evil we are eradicating.
Harvey Mansfield

We think being a woman is hard.

But I honestly think being a man is harder.

In a world, political correctness gone mad, men have to think more than twice not to be accused of sexism, racism, misogyny, prejudism, violence or some other thing when dealing with women.

With the rise of feminism, manliness was denigrated and abhorred. Most men had to adjust or were forced to be gentle - men instead of gentlemen. They lost their identity and evolved into something else.

Even here in the virtual world, I see it's men who publicly whine mostly about other blog topics, scammers and bloggers. It's not manly to whine. Men have to be assertive. Have control over themselves and fight or defend and protect themselves and the vulnerable only when threatened.

(Sorry, not trying to teach anyone to be men. Just my opinion and I rightfully like to have it. Thank you)

Women stood up, fought and got to a place where they deemed was right for them. ( Whether women got it right is another topic for another blog.)

Will I die without finding a knight in rustic armour?

I don't mind actually dying without a knight if the Knights came in pink.

Will men fight back to get to their rightful right to be men, manly men with honour and valour ? dunno

Or will they shape their eyebrows, start painting their lips and nails, look pretty and start a hashtag #pink is the new black ?
uh oh

( P.S. Not really looking for a knight. just wanted to add this picture to my blog and couldn't think of a better way.)
