The popol vuh kills the Bering strait theory Part 1

The popol vuh kills the Bering strait theory
Popol Vuh: The Sacred Book of the Maya: The Great Classic of Central American Spirituality, Translated from the Original Maya Text Paperback – March 1, 2007. The Popol Vuh is the most important example of Maya literature to have survived the Spanish conquest.

Quichés in that area had, of course, seen documents and books like the Bible written in
Spanish but had little conception at that time that it was possible to use phonetic letters to
record their own language. This is a great tragedy, because until about five hundred years ago
the Maya were the most literate people in the Americas, preserving their history and culture
with a sophisticated hieroglyphic script in hundreds of folded screen books. The Spanish
conquest in the early sixteenth century was a devastating blow to Maya literacy in Mexico
and Guatemala. Christian missionaries burned great numbers of hieroglyphic texts in an
attempt to eradicate indigenous religious practices. Native scribes were singled out for
persecution to such an extent that within one hundred years, the art of hieroglyphic writing
had virtually disappeared from among the Maya people.
They Came From the East...
In Stephen's Incidents of Travel in Central America, the author quotes what Fuentes (chronicler of the ancient kingdom of Guatemala and of the Toltecan Indians) said of the origin of the leaders of the Quiche Maya. Fuentes said that, according to the grandson of the last king of the Quiches, the TOLTECS WERE ISRAELITES, released by Moses from the tyranny of Pharaoh. After crossing the Red Sea they became idolators. To escape the reproofs of Moses, they strayed away and, under the leadership of a man named Tanub, drifted from continent to continent until they came to a place they called the SEVEN CAVERNS -- a part of the kingdom of Mexico. Here they founded the city of TULA. The story recounts that from Tanub, their leader, sprang the ruling families of the Toltec and the Quiche Maya.
Of these Toltecs, who were in 1519 only a distant memory, Don Fernando writes --
...And the Tultecs...came to these parts, having first passed over great lands and seas, LIVING IN CAVES and passing through great hardships, until getting to this land. -- Primera Relacion.
The record of this voyage is found in The Popul Vuh -- the Quiche Mayan book of creation. Originally written in MAYAN hieroglyphs, it was transcribed in the Spanish alphabet in the sixteenth century. This book is considered the most important text in the native languages of the Americas, and begins with the deeds of MAYAN gods in the darkness of a primeval sea and ends with the radiant splendor of the MAYAN LORDS who founded the QUICHE KINGDOM in the GUATEMALAN HIGHLANDS.
Who were these MAYAN LORDS who founded the Quiche kingdom? Where did they come from?
In The Popul Vuh are recorded the migrations and wanderings of their ancestors. Notes Herman L. Hoeh: "It traces their origin EASTWARD ACROSS THE ATLANTIC OCEAN to the OLD WORLD. Other Indians had similar origins of having to cross A GREAT BODY OF WATER FROM THE NORTHEAST to reach their present land" (Compendium of World History, Vol. II, p. 88).
The author of The Popul Vuh records it this way: "They also multiplied there IN THE EAST....All lived together, they existed in GREAT NUMBERS and walked there in the EAST....There they were then, in great numbers, the black man and the white man, many of many classes, men of many tongues....The speech of all was the same. They did not invoke wood nor stone, and they REMEMBERED THE WORD OF THE CREATOR AND THE MAKER..." (English version by Goetz and Morley, pp. 171-172).
The MAYA record continues: "...THEY CAME FROM THE EAST...they left there, from that great distance....THEY CROSSED THE SEA" (pp. 181, 183).

Loyalty...

Before, during and after his presidency, Donald J. Trump demanded loyalty from everyone surrounding him. He still does. I've seen a few videos of his former attorney Michael Cohen, who described it and made reference to loyalty like the mafia. Former deputy press secretary Sarah Matthews gave testimony on the January 6th hearing and said it was expected from all the White House staff.

Earlier this year, Trump's valet, Walt Nauta, was charged in the stolen documents case. His legal team is paid for from monies collected by Trump's reelection campaign funds.
Last week, the Mar-a-Lago head of maintenance, Carlos De Oliveira is now facing a possible prison sentence for allegedly assisting Nauta, on Trump's orders, to hide documents and destroy evidence. He's scheduled to turn himself in today to be formally charged with a crime. The same as Walt, his legal fees will be paid for by Trump.

What cost is the loyalty for these two?

I give them a 98% chance they will see prison. How long? Some legal advisers estimate as much as 10 to 20 years. Walt, could get more than Carlos as he lied to investigators. Carlos, was only acting on instructions from the boss and would probably receive a lesser sentence. The question is did they cut deals with Trump not to flip and turn in information on Trump that would get them lesser sentences?
We have no way f knowing this.

What guarantee do either of these guys have that their silence will get them and their families financial protection for loyalty? There is ALWAYS the possibility that Trump could renege should he feel they didn't do enough to support him.

We've seen a handful of lawyers defending Trump decide to leave the team. Were they not paid? Trump has a history of complaining and not paying his legal counsel. The smart ones want money up front. Now it's not (so much) the money, it's career suicide to (attempt to) defend Trump without risk for the clients they've already been paid to defend. Touch subject for that matter.

Michael Cohen stated it's best for Walt to to 'flip on Trump' and take a plea deal for a lesser sentence. After Carlos appears in court today, Cohen may give the same advice.
You will know where you stand with the court and... maybe not with Trump.

My opinion based on historical events. Possibly you may have a different perspective.

What feeds us the most?

Many have their perceptions and ideas of what feeds them emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
Yet, by simple observation we see so many here seemingly lost and alone and have come to embrace that loneliness as their only trusted friend. Many seem to share that "drink of loneliness for its better than drinking alone" to quote Billy Joel and here like any other place is just as good as any. After awhile nobody feels so alone
because they all have something in common to share in their plight.

I find it unique the things many discuss and the crazy questions with the serious and the mundane.
Perhaps within the chaos we see in the news and things of the world to have a place to come and let it out and seek some sense of hope for some who have nothing else. I have learned that in our search for love from
anyone we perceive has greater value over another its all about a search for self.

Hence, we tend to give to that which feeds us and the quality of receiving is measured by the quality of giving.
True its nothing new with this idea but, when I see so many seeming to throw up their hands in surrender vs in praise for the things or people they do have in their life. We write profiles that are not probably the real truth of ourselves to make an impression to anyone out there who may be interested. Yet, if we told the truth how many would be knocking on our door wanting to shag us? We write our declarations of what we are willing to put up with and we place in most cases unrealistic expectations in our search for a friend.

Then of course since this is a international site the chances of meeting up close and personal is slim to none. The locals around the corner are more baffling because they have a chance to meet up close but choose to think the grass is greener elsewhere. Nevertheless, if we follow the natural order of things we find what truly feeds us is our instincts and since life and love is about connections we only will connect to that which we can identify with as truth as we understand it.

Nobody was put here to live and die alone. We know that people who live alone are generally miserable and have various health problems mental, emotional and physical. They also do not live long. I know for myself I am one of those types.

Overall many will think how dark and sad this blog may be but, to live in denial and pretend things are fine
or put up a shield, a barrier to avoid the drama of people who may be suffering but do not want to blab it to the world that basically don't give a damn.
Many would suggest tell it to a therapist who gets paid to listen to drama.

Nevertheless, it boils down to finding what feeds us and gives us hope meaning and purpose other than writing blogs or seeking social approval online. Soon Christmas will be here and we will be shopping and giving things to people who are found to be ungrateful all year or treated us like crap or did something to lessen the feeling and meaning of Christmas.

We will have to discern then and reflect upon what and who fed us and measure our value with each other.
Because once the new year begins in about 37 days we will make our resolutions our hopes for the future
and decide who we will be spending it with.

Why do people associate the Caribbean with African nations, scammers and gold-diggers? Please people...educate yourselves...the Caribbean is thousands of miles away from Africa. Secondly, as with UK or America there are different social strata......so not everyone is poor and seeking a free ticket to these countries. I can only speak for myself....but i would rather stay in my beloved Trinidad and Tobago and maintain my lifestyle than migrate to live a sub- standard life.
P.s Im seeking a sexy young male to migrate to my country to father my five (5).....yes 5......unborn babies.grin grin

America is great, is there any place better?

For me, Switzerland is the only place I can think of. Opportunity, economic, social and health services considered.

So many people were wondering what makes America great and I think this information will give a good answer.

Having said that, I am sure there's more personal thoughts or ideas that wouldn't necessarily be reflected on this article.

Feel free to share what makes you think our one and only US Of A is great (or not). I know that it is the most sought country in the world or we'd have no illegal immigration problems.

"The United States is a highly developed country, and its economy accounts for approximately a quarter of global GDP and is the world's largest by GDP at market exchange rates. By value, the United States is the world's largest importer and second-largest exporter of goods. Although its population is only 4.2% of the world's total, it holds over 30% of the total wealth in the world, the largest share held by any country. Making up more than a third of global military spending, the United States is the foremost military power in the world and a leading political, cultural, and scientific force."

From Wiki.

If you value freedom, you'd better like America.
