I’m Leaving! I Quit! I’m Done Here!

I have been with CS for about a year and a half now and I have never seen so many people leaving as of late; almost as if it has become the latest fashion to leave. Luckily most of them are back within hours; at the most a few days.confused

And every time we have such a mass exodus I am a very worried man. At the rate of departure, CS might be forced to invite some banned members back; just to maintain a respectable member count and that won’t do.frustrated

Come on guys and dolls; make up your mind whether you want to be here or not. If you feel that you need an extended break then say so and take your break. If you want to quit CS altogether then say your good byes and go! Don’t make a funeral of it. You are undermining your own credibility by playing yo-yo. If you don’t like the site, don’t poison the others; let them form their own opinion.scold

On the other hand, if you don’t really want to leave and are just pissed off with somebody, just retire quietly, think about it for a day or two and come back when you feel better. You don’t sell your house because some guy, four houses down the road, is irritating you. No matter where you go, you will always get somebody to irritate you and undoubtedly you too will work on somebody’s tits. Stick around; this is a nice a place.thumbs up

The “I’m leaving” theme must have been one of the most popular blog topics during the last month or three and it is getting hollow now. I’m sure we can find something better to blog about.doh

I’m sorry if my blog topic got some people all excited for nothing, but I’m not quite ready to leave. If and when I do, nobody will want me back. I shall burn all bridges behind me to make sure I don’t make a fool of myself.grin

A Complete Circle

Life makes a complete circle and in most cases, several of them; almost like a wheel. The closer you are to the center of the wheel the smoother is your ride.motorcycle

However, you cannot win if you do not dare. When you live near the rim of the wheel, life is more interesting. Your ups will be more exciting and your downs more spectacular. When on top, the view will be great but when you go down, you will be dragged through the dust. And when it rains, it will be mud.stuck

On your journey through life, you will overtake some people and some will overtake you. While coming down, you will seldom have much control. It is much like parachuting. You can pull a few strings here and there to choose the best landing spot but down you will go. Some people have the knack to run to the center of the wheel when it starts going down. Others try to stay on top by running on the rim; like a monkey riding a barrel. While it works, it is fine but when you lose your footing, down you go.help

Going up is trickier. You have to be careful whom you walk over on your way up for those very people may overtake you again. What goes up, must come down… eventually. A helping hand to somebody going down may (or may not) be remembered later but a kick in the face will certainly not be forgotten.doh

And when you’re down, get up quickly. Life will not wait for you. Afterwards the people will not remember you for how far you fell. The circumstances that led to your fall will soon be forgotten. You will be remembered for how fast you got up again.cheering

Gearing Up.

The conflict in Ukraine is far from over or resolved but it seems the next planned proxy war is already in the making.

The Pentagon said on Wednesday that the United States has approved the potential sale of $619 million in new weapons to Taiwan, including missiles for its F-16 fleet.

Why can't there be peace internationally? confused

If this is true....

'Eyes are the windows to the soul.' It means, mostly, people can see through someone else by eye contact in seven seconds....

It would explain why so many people have no success here...

As a child I was taught respect
And one of the lessons was :

Look people in the eye !!!

Save your breath

Political issues are part of the blog section. Why complain as though you own this site?

Create your own site and completely block politics.

But you know that already. Don't you?cheers cheering

I think the complaint department is closed. tongue rolling on the floor laughing dancing

Serial swatter off to jail for "at least 20 years"

Tyler Barriss, a serial swatter lowlife from California, was recently arrested and charged with 51 felonies. If you are not familiar with the term swatting, it is the harassment tactic of deceiving an emergency service into sending a police and emergency service response team to another person's address.

A part of this particular lowlifes threats were aimed at:

Shopping centers
Schools
Movie theaters
Video game tournaments
Apartment complexes
Museums
TV stations
Universities

The latest incident that this lowlife created, was the death of a 28-year-old Wichita, Kansas father of two, named Andrew Finch. He was killed by local police in 2017 after Barriss called the cops on him. The reason Finch was shot, was because at some point during his initial contact with the police, he lowered his hands and went for his waistband. One police officer thought he was reaching for a gun, so the officer fired a shot, wounding Finch. He was taken to the hospital, where he died from the gunshot.

The officer was not charged with murder.

The reason for the swatting is absurd, to say the least! Apparently, two gamers were feuding on a game of Call of Duty. The reason for the feud? A $1.50 wager in one of the games. At some point, gamer A reached out to Bariss and asked him to swat gamer B. Gamer B then gave Bariss his former address, where Andrew Finch just happened to live. A horrible end to a stupid and pointless argument.

After the swatting, the whole thing came on the news, and Bariss took to Twitter to cement his innocence, writing "I didn't kill anyone, because I wasn't shooting the weapon".

Tyler is not the only one who enjoys swatting people. Just take a look at this compilation video of people getting swatted.

Swatting is pointless and stupid, not to mention dangerous. For his stupid actions, Tyler Bariss could now end up facing 25 years in prison. Particularly since he has done it before. So now he can look forward to a few years behind bars! At least he will not be able to swat anyone ever again!

I want to include you in this story, and I would love to hear your thoughts on this, and specifically the jail time that Tyler now faces. Do you think 20 years is enough? Does he deserve a longer sentence?

Please keep it civil, guys!
