We are the same...but different.

I like food. When I eat a meal, I savour what I'm eating, yet I don't always feel like eating food, as I get bored with 'everyday' type dishes (e.g. rice, beans & chicken, and fast food menus). Some people wolf down/guzzle their food, not even 'tasting' it; as though the taste buds that God blessed them with, are just there for decorative purposes.

What's strange about it, is that we all have basically the same body mechanisms, but don't all make the same use of them. Our taste buds is only one example, but our brain is another. Science once stated that many of us under-utilize our brain (by 90%), but that information has been deemed incorrect. Still, how and what we use our brain for is the real point. Some use their brain to think of positive things, whilst others use theirs for negative things.

Based upon the vast number of evils that are prevalent in our world today, I could understand why so many seem to not take time to savour life, and instead under-utilize or overlook the good that's in the world. But filling our minds and or the mind of others with negative thoughts, instead of positive ones, only exacerbates that 'prevalence'.

It's not the same as 'burying one's head in the sand' by avoiding the negativity. No, it's just a case of avoiding the negativity so that we don't overwhelm our minds. When that happens, it causes depression and some persons can become mentally unstable, and or suicidal. We are the same, but deal with things differently.

Something to remember...heart1

Musk backed OUT on the Twitter deal

JUSTIFIED? He's being sued.

Counter sue is the name of the game.

Disclosing all of the current practices on this company, Musk is vehemently proposing changes such as transparency.

He's scrutinizing all the management criteria to make sure he's able to control everything specifically eliminating fraudulent practices such as fake accounts.

Obviously there's a lot of anomalous parts in the real number of accounts presented.

44 billion is the number. The latest today, 4/25/2022

Yipeeeee Freedom of speech guaranteed.

Quite honestly? I'd have preferred that he'd start one similar from ground up and that'd be better.
Well from Offer to rejection to finally closing it.

I couldn't be happier. teddybear

Yep that's the latest Today.dunno

Who would win in a fight, Pelosi or Trump?

“I’ve been waiting for this,” House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says in a newly-released video, in which she says claims “punch him out,” if then-President Donald Trump comes to the U.S. Capitol during the January 6, 2021 riot.

“I’m going to punch him out,” House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said of Trump as the Capitol riot unfolded, according to video obtained from Pelosi’s daughter and aired by CNN Thursday.

When the Going Gets Weird!

"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro."

A rather famous quote by Gonzo author and founder H. S. Thompson taken to imply that in times of change and upheaval, every weirdo can make an often very good living from his or her personal ideas and views, no matter how inaccurate and stupid they are.

I suppose that's what Alex Jones, the far-right and alt-right, crazy conspiracy theorist host of the 'The Alex Jones Show' and founder of the Infowars website must have thought when he claimed that the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting was orchestrated by the government to eventually introduce gun control.

Oh well, at least a judge apparently disagrees. Alex Jones has just been ordered to pay USD965m in damages to the Sandy Hook victims' families.

What do you think of this verdict? Should conspiracy theorists be held to account for their claims and the ensuing consequences of those claims?

As for myself, I cannae deny that I'm loving it to bits!

Why POLITICAL, CURRENTS EVENTS AND RELIGIOUS BLOGS will never go away

It doesn't take an iota of intelligence to know why this site is free.

What is it to the owners and the mods? Exactly. Think.

The more views a topic gets, the more participants it has, the more advertisers.

Simple.

Complain all you want, these topics will stay. And on the front lines.

Yes. You didn't say it should go away, you want it isolated or hidden. Good luck.

Kanye West Was Tucker Carlson’s Ultimate Grievance Interview

Though you might not think so at first, the musical artist Kanye West and the Fox News host Tucker Carlson actually have a lot in common. Both men are very famous, and also very irritating. Both are sometimes remembered, sartorially speaking, for their preppier periods. Both have reached the peaks of success in their respective spheres within American mass media; both have chosen to use their platforms to pretend loudly and often that their platforms—and your freedoms—are actually in imminent jeopardy, thanks to the thought plague known as cancel culture. Did I mention that both men are very irritating?

It was only a matter of time before West and Carlson combined forces in a maelstrom of risible nonsense. That long-awaited moment finally came to pass on Thursday’s episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight, which was wholly devoted to a pretaped interview with West, who made a lot of people angry this week when he wore a dumb T-shirt to a fashion show. On Monday, both West and conservative commentator Candace Owens wore shirts reading “White Lives Matter” to West’s fashion show in Paris. The shirt, which also featured a large photograph of Pope John Paul II for some reason, was part of West’s latest collection—which, according to the New York Times, he introduced with a “rambling speech about critics who complained about his shows being late; … the pain of being called ‘crazy’; critics who complained that his clothes might not be well made,” and many other things. Classic Fashion Week drama!

Tucker Carlson, of course, lives for Fashion Week drama, and so he had West on his show to discuss how unfair it was that nobody liked his ugly, antagonistic shirt. “The response from the fashion industry and the international media was instantaneous and uniform: shock, horror, rage,” said Carlson at the outset of the hour-long discussion. In it, West rambled about his parents, announced that he chose to wear a “White Lives Matter” shirt “because they do ,” and spoke about how political forces had attempted to manipulate him back when he was married to Kim Kardashian. “We’ve rarely heard a man speak so honestly and so movingly about what he believes,” Carlson said. I skipped the first quarter of Thursday Night Football to watch this.

A Short Apology

Sometimes when I write blogs I never go back and comment. I apologize in advance if and when I do that lol. Not trying to offend anyone. I just get busy or I’m not even interested in what I wrote anymore lol.

I also do not respond to everyone that comments but I do read every comment.

Thank you!

DeSantis and the Migrant Flights to Martha's Vineyard...

Different versions of this story keep popping up and the reader reactions are wildly opposites.
As a Florida resident, I see lots of media about our governor Ron DeSantis. That too has wildly opposite opinions about him. Months ago, I predicted he was being groomed to run for the 2024 presidential election and it appears he does lots of attention getting schemes to be seen and heard.
The most direct effect I've seen from him was being instrumental in getting vaccine distribution to many of the 55 and over communities. People around here still bring that topic up and as far as I see, he's liked for support of the elderly.

Recently, he's part of convincing Venezuelan asylum seeker undocumented immigrants from Texas to sign up and they will be transported to Boston in the Northeast where they will be offered housing, food and cash assistance. Pamphlets were printed in English and Spanish explaining the benefits and what was in store for them.
The plan was misrepresented as the immigrants ended up not where they were told, they would be relocated, instead they were placed (dumped) on the resort island of Martha's Vineyard in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

DeSantis claims responsibility for this. He also had the help of a former U.S. Army combat medic and counterintelligence officer Perla Huerta. Both of them are in the news.
Why? It would appear he's forcing an issue that nothing is being done about illegal immigration in the United States. The migrants became political props for his actions.

Ron... I think your point was made. One fatal part of your plan was to use funding from a different budget and transport/traffic asylum seekers across state lines.
I'm reading that lawsuit against you could cast a shadow while you wrangle out of this.

Sure they filled out consent forms before boarding on a plane. I think the word is duped.

Good vs Bad

Never in my lifetime did I ever expect to see the leaders of democracy, founders of 'Human rights' and everything that is 'Fair and Just' for all of mankind embrace the likes of the most evil present day Nazi regime in Ukraine.
