To watch this orderly process under magnification is nearly enough to side with the wide eyed and ignorant, ie, with the antievolutionists. More digression. In recent years, it's been found that certain primitive (pluripotential) cell lines, help out here, at least by providing cellular raw material. At first thought only to remain, for harvesting, in supporting tissues, such as the placenta, these are now found in various places, even in adults. But these early beliefs did provide a big money making incentive for the supporters of clinical fetus murder, allowing these criminals at Planned Parenthood to cash in. "Dr. Goodman, just toss the baby into this trash bin, but save the placenta on ice". Subsequent lab bench science saw the importance in the capacity for these stem cells to develop, with help, into many tissues, and even parts of functioning organs. Therapeutic applications have been few, such as restoring Dopamine secreting cells to parts of the brain (substantia nigra, etc.), in short supply in patients with Parkinsonian syndromes. And a few other applications, all based on lots of solid science, and careful clinical trials. Repeat the last phrases several times. Enter the business scammers. Cash only clinics are now springing up in shady tolerant countries, to attempt to use this idea of Stem cells in "regenerative therapies, for, among other afflictions, joint disorders, Multiple sclerosis and even Autism, with scant supporting evidence. And no shortage of devastating side effects. What do these crooks understand? For starters, little science. But lots about human nature. As with all scammers, the ability to read near panic in the faces of their marks. Not unlike the fake, VERY fake, profiles of Hottie tarts right cheer on our own beloved CS. Pain, especially for loved ones, has a way of opening the wallets and purses. As with Gypsy Travelers, who see you could soon use a new roof, and vastly undercut true craftsMEN, only never to return after taking your down payment. Stretching knowledge (scientific, or otherwise), gauging panicky need, and hiting victims with the age old line, "do we ever have SUCH a deal for you?" Sociopathy--- in business.

Biggest drop for two years. Likely to drop much more if fears continue. But it is up a tiny bit this AM. Investors refer to this phenomenon as a "Dead Cat Bounce". As when a dead cat, if dropped from on high, will bounce a little, even in it's lifeless state. Things could get interesting, in the sense of the Chinese curse.

There is one less key on my key ring today. The reason for this is two weeks ago I gave notice to leave a top management position that I've held for more than three years.

I'm finding more and more websites are restricting their services until you login. YouTube has a few nag screens offering TV service and movie subscriptions. Clear your cookies and cache and they ask you again. Google online translation will retain your history when you are signed in. Alexa remembers every comment you have asked. Many news stories are blocked unless you are logged in to their service.
My prediction: It's only a matter of time when free access becomes subscription access.
