Would you block someone you met on a dating site for wearing a bathrobe for a video chat?
I exchanged contact details with someone on here and we arrange to do a video chat last night.
I called her and after only a couple of minutes of chatting, she asked me to change my clothes. I don't see what was wrong with me wearing a bathrobe for a video chat. I always have a shower in the early evening after work and was just wearing what I normally would be wearing at the time we started chatting.

She asked me to change my clothes so I did then called her back but she didn't want to answer. I said I had changed my clothes but she said she didn't want to chat with me.

I don't know why she felt so uncomfortable about what I was wearing.
I don't know if she thought I was going to expose myself on our video chat or what or whether maybe her upbringing meant that is was highly inappropriate for someone to do a video chat with her and to always dress appropriately for the occasion.

I tried to explain but she was having none of it and just blocked me from messaging apps and on this dating site.

I just find the whole situation and her ridiculous and crazy.
Why couldn't she have just asked me to change my clothes and then call her back as if nothing had happened?
Or why couldn't she have just ignored what I was wearing?

It says she lives in London but I could tell from her accent, she was possibly Russian, Ukrainian, Moldovan or some other Eastern European country originally.

If anyone has their thoughts on this, I look forward to hearing from you.

"Leaving the toilet seat down"
There, I said it. No arguments when growing up. Respect for my mom, my dad, brother and I had the seat down when we exited the bathroom. Pretty simple... I cannot recall any discussions about it.

I did know a guy who said it wasn't an issue. He never raised the seat to pee!
That may have been a factor is why his marriage only lasted a few years.

I have a pretty good memory for photos I've seen before. Checking new members on another site, I came across one I thought was suspicious... just something about it that got my attention. It reminded me of the 10 members with the same dress, hairstyle and brick wall background.

That led me to a site called 'faceinahole' where you could superimpose an image into an existing surround. It's like 'Photoshop for dummies'

My suspicion was correct. While I don't know the origin, I was able to find other photos of 'different faces with the same background' and consider them to be fakes...
Why? Because they are.

Investigating more, I found a site that links to TikTok and a few short clips showing how someone stitches their face into a background:

I don’t purposely exercise like I used to, but living in a townhouse and tending to Sweetie gives me apt opportunity for daily physical activity, at home. However, I need to do other things to get my daily dose of happy hormones, so I’ve decided to return to an old habit of adding ‘dance’ to my daily activities. Nothing formal though, just me, fun music and fun movements – turn on the radio, find something upbeat and ‘shake what my momma gave me’. LOL! Sweetie probably needs some of that too...

On 08/29/2022, the Cuban human rights defender and peaceful opponent Yunior González Rosabal announced on his Facebook account, through a screenshot, the satellite view of the residence where Cuban dictator Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez lives. .

The social network used sanctioned the user for 24 hours without being able to make new publications or comments. After this period of time had passed, and in order for him to be able to use his account again, he had to accept that the publication be deleted because it was considered that it violated Facebook's community standards.

How violating could that post be? The answer lies with those who work in one of the social networks with the most users in the world while at the same time consenting to the violations of freedom of expression reflected in article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the Castro-communist tyranny , which says: "Every individual has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes the right not to be bothered because of their opinions, to investigate and receive information and opinions, and to disseminate them, without limitation of borders, by any means of expression."

What led Yunior to make the place where that residence is located visible to the public, adding the address and coordinates to the image? The dictator of Cuba, Díaz Canel, not only tyrannizes the Cuban people under the orders of the castros, since he is nothing more than a hand-picked president, but also manipulates the Cubans.

That man is used to asking the people to resist the painful situations faced by Cubans. He says it as someone who also participates in that resistance translated into sacrifice, to resist hunger, misery, the high cost of basic products, etc. but no, he asks her to resist while he lives as a rich capitalist, not to mention his family members.

Cubans suffer from internet censorship, the Cuban dictatorship ensures that the people do not have access to the necessary information and also represses those who dare to spread the news that others should know. We can take this case as an example.

Yunior was not only censored by the social network Facebook but also now faces charges for that publication. Although he has refused to sign and accept the fine that regime agents tried to impose on him, he has been threatened by them with going to prison.

What could have been so serious that Yunior's publication has resulted in his being arbitrarily arrested, threatened, fined and interrogated by state security officers, personal security officers and agents of the "Villa Marista" State Security Department, place of detention and torture of political prisoners in Cuba?

It would not be difficult to deduce that the human rights defender and peaceful opponent of all dictatorial and oppressive regimes, Yunior Glez. Rosabal, has had the audacity to show with that image, the double standard of Miguel Díaz Canel Bermudez, someone who asks a people to resist sacrifices while he and his family do not need to resist anything because they do not suffer the slightest need for more than trying to deceive the world through his cheeky speeches.

Yunior could go to prison for that post. All those people committed in one way or another to respect for Human Rights should show solidarity with him. He maintains a firm attitude, does not retract what he did and emphasizes that both the Cuban people and the world should know the lifestyle of the fraud who apparently acts as president of Cuba.

"I do not deny what I did nor do I regret it because I am sure I did what I had to despite knowing what I was exposing myself to with the bloody communist Castro dictatorship. Enough of the Cuban dictatorship deceiving the world. The truth is to be told And I, like all other human beings, have the right to freedom of expression."

There are some fervantly religious people here; who continually post blogs on Christianity/Catholicism, and general morality;- thereby setting themselves up as experts. I would ask them (or indeed, anybody else); this Question:

IF we are all "God's Children" (I don't believe this, but to go on); why would he make a good deal of Really Evil People? (I guess the classic example, would be Adolf Hitler). But I did not really start this blog, to discuss the Fuhrer;- instead, I would like readers to concentrate on the interesting case studies, which I have listed (below):

In the case of the Serial Killers; why does God, not only feel the need, to create Bad Eggs; but to also install (in many cases), phenomenally high IQ's into them?

Used in this sense ; it would appear that not only does the Very Funny Lord consider it necessary to Create "Bad Eggs" but (very often) also "selects" these "Bad Eggs" to Represent Him Personally!......

It may be early for some of us, but many other folks (including those where I live) have already begun preparing for Christmas. Yes, there’s Thanksgiving in the US, and Divali/Dewali in my homeland, India and other parts of the world that are way before Christmas, but the preparations for those seem to take second place.

In my country, October usually marks the start of preparations with shopping for curtains/drapes and other decorative household items, repairing or replacing old furniture and appliances, soaking fruits in wine and rum to make fruitcakes, cooking and baking of seasonal foods (and snacks), and the list goes on. When I was a child, Christmastime at my grandparents was a very fun-filled, family-filled and food-filled time (my grandmother was a great cook, and also a great baker).

There’s so much to like, and to do during this season that is really good. But I also know that there’s a bit of it that’s not-so-good. The year is quickly ending and Christmas is right around the corner. Whether you are a ‘Bible believer’ or not, almost everyone is affected by Christmas either directly, or indirectly. There aren't many other holiday seasons that have the kind of impact that it does; I know of many non-Christians that really enjoy what this season has to offer.

Some people believe that living alone is unhealthy. But ‘living alone’ and ‘being lonely’ are two different things, and the former state is very healthy. Living alone can help to bring about inner peace and contentment, whilst the latter can cause great unease and even depression.

Being at peace with God involves an intimacy that I believe can only come in the midst of physical and mental quiet. It has been my personal experience that living alone facilitates a greater connection with God, a clearer vision of His Greatness, and a better understanding of the extent of His Love towards me. Being alone in the still quite moments of one’s day, can help one to better develop one’s spiritual bond with God, and eventually, with others.

When I am not alone, I have to struggle to control my thoughts because of the many distractions that either vie for my attention or the attention of the others who may be occupying the space with me. When I am not alone, I have to remember the needs of others, temper my moods, exercise tolerance and patience, avoid causing offense, listen to sounds that may be disturbing my physical and mental peace and be a ‘good Christian’. When I am not alone, it can be difficult to maintain a gentle and quite spirit.

All of that distracts me from just being at Peace with myself, my space and God.

If you live alone, but don't appreciate how blessed you are, so think again. If you do, then continue to enjoy.
