That dearest spot women love more than their very lives....

since the 90's, in my limited but shocked experience, it must be good to invest in companies selling razors. I bet it's a generational thing. Certainly, not one of hygiene. Au contraire Vaginal births and many proceedures now mostly are razorless events. Up until the 70's or so, it was different. Can the not to modest girls here puleeze enlighten us all on this important and timely topic. I can talk with my teen twins on almost any topic. Almost. Probably my embarasssment, hardly theirs. Aa.

The Virgosign on the World Cup.

Hey people.
I am sure all England football supporters worldwide remember today in history 52 years ago.
Yes 30 July 1966 England bested West Germany 4-2 and lifted the Joules Rimet trophy in Wembley Stadium. It was the first World Cup televised live in the competition’s 36 years history. Many reading this weren’t even born at the time but I specifically remember watching it at home with my parents and half the street neighbours filling the room and spilling out of the wide open front door into the street, on a b&w Leowe Opta mahogany cased tv.
That day I sided with Germany, and have been a DFB fan since .
Seems so like it was only yesterday !
Peace cool

Enlish is a silly language that often makes no sense at all

There is no egg in the eggplant,
No ham in the hamburger
And neither pine nor apple in the pineapple.
English muffins were not invented in England,
French fries were not invented in France.

We sometimes take English for granted, but if we examine its paradoxes we find that:
Quicksand takes you down slowly,
Boxing rings are square,
And a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.

If writers write, how come fingers don't fing?
If the plural of tooth is teeth,
Shouldn't the plural of phone booth be phone beeth?
If the teacher taught,
Why hasn't the preacher praught?

If a vegetarian eats vegetables,
What the heck does a humanitarian eat?
Why do people recite at a play,
Yet play at a recital?
Park on driveways and
Drive on parkways?
How can the weather be as hot as hell on one day
And as cold as hell on another?

You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language where a house can burn up as it burns down,
And in which you fill in a form
By filling it out.....

English was invented by people, not computers,
And it reflects the creativity of the human race
(Which of course isn't a race at all.)

That is why:
When the stars are out they are visible,
But when the lights are out they are invisible.

I wanna try find out

how deep you are, folks. I wanna descuss why.
Why as a following to capt.Elmo's last blog about the boys on the island.

Only one step way from our own savage i heard.
Also heard six days of turning into prison/guard system. I also remember well the film "the wave" where a whole school in usa was transformed into followers of a nazi-like system. Went fast there too.

Now. Why?

As a side case i'd like to ask: why is A.B.Breivik
(the norwegian loonie who killed more then 80 ppl with a bomb and a firearm) getting a 10 week long tv broadcasted trial when we all know he should be thrown in high securety prison with no hope of release, after a 30min trail and that would be far more suitable for him and for our feeling of fairness. What is there to descuss in that courtroom. (?)

I will bed shortly, but i'll be up a short while longer to return in full force in the morning. Delta force, hehe.

Someone asked me this question just a few days ago, found this answer

Question: "How did people know about God before the Bible?"

Answer: Even though people did not have the Word of God, they were not without the ability to receive, understand and obey God before there was a Bible as we know it. In fact, there are many areas of the world today where Bibles are not available, yet people still can and do know about God. The issue is one of revelation—God’s revealing to man what He wants us to know and understand about Himself. While there has not always been a Bible, there have always been means for man to receive and understand God’s revelation. There are two categories of revelation, general and special.

General revelation deals with that revelation from God universally to all mankind. The external aspect of general revelation are those things which God must be the cause or source of. Because these things exist, God must also exist in order to have put them into existence. Romans 1:20 tells us “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.”
So all men and women everywhere can look at the creation and know that God exists. Psalm 19:1-4 further explains that the creation speaks clearly of God in a language that all understand. “There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard” (verse 3). The revelation from nature is clear. No one can excuse himself because of ignorance. There is no alibi for the atheist, and there is no excuse for the agnostic.

Another aspect of general revelation—that which God has revealed to everyone—is in the existence of our conscience. This is internal. “What may be known of God is manifest in them” (Romans 1:19). People today, because of what they have on the inside, are conscious that God exists. These two aspects of general revelation are clearly seen in the countless stories of missionaries coming upon native tribes who have never seen a Bible or heard of Jesus. Yet, when the plan of salvation is presented to them, they know that God exists because they see evidence of Him in nature, and they know they need a Savior because their consciences convict them of their sin and their need of Him.

Do you know that writing could heal any kind of heart aches???

Hi every one.... how are you? It has been long time I don't write in a blog... been busy in real life and enjoy it too much. laugh

it has been like almost 2 years I change my carrier from business to journalist. Especially with the political situation in Indonesia, there are so much things I could write. Lucky me that I got a background which support what I do. Almost every single day I write articles and I think it is more than 1000 articles have been published in local medias. From politic, economic, fiction, travels, culinary, religion, jokes, movies, and last year I published my first Novel title "Emily" with 600 pages thickness.

What I feel so far? An easy life... peaceful and happy.

I started my writing from a scratch by writing blogs. I believe, all of you who also write blogs in CS's blog will feel a common thing after finish writing your blogs. A kind of lighter feeling, released and burden free.

You are all lucky to have found a media where you could express your thoughts by writing it and people read it and even interact with you. By read what you wrote, people also could recognise your character, emotion, your inside state and situation where you are in.

By read what you wrote, people also could see how deep your logic works, how far your vision is, and in the same time the readers could judge you whether you are a narrow minded kind of person or wide minded or broad minded. And people will notice what is your political side as well. Every thing can be seen of who and how you are by reading your writing...

Especially for those who has a timid character, not talk active and even introvert person, writing could rely your thoughts.

The reason I write this blog is to congratulate all of you who are still continue writing your thoughts for ages in this blogs forum. This is the fact that writing your thought could heal any kind of heart aches and it could make you addicted to do it again and again and again.

Cheers every one and I wish you have a good week end.....

beer cheers

It's A Festivus - For The Rest Of Us! || From '14

gingerbread

'Tis the Season for old traditions & I'm resurrecting this from '14 - a nostalgic stroll down memory lane. Some here will remember commenters who've since moved on. And there's been at least one addition - Mimi'73 has morphed into MiMiArt hug ... Enjoy. cheers

Yep! December 23. That most sacrilegious devil and sarcastic tongue of all Holidays (anti-holiday dunno ) has rolled around once again!

This relative newcomer to the Holiday Season was sprung upon an unsuspecting public during a 1997 episode of Seinfeld. Since then, it has gained popularity among the jaded, those fed up with commercialization, seeking to ritualize family dysfunction...or simply looking for yet another reason to party. buddies

Or eat cupcakes. cake

So c'mon, y'all party animals! Set up your Bare Aluminum Festvus Pole (I find tinsel distracting)! Burn the hell out of the traditional Ketchup-Glazed Meatloaf! wink Gather friends & family near to you - for The Airing Of The Grievances very mad very mad very mad very mad Engage one another in the Feats of Strength flex And remember the Festivus Rule - IT AIN'T OVER 'TIL THE HEAD OF THE HOUSE IS PINNED TO THE GROUND! christmas sad

What sort of Festvus Miracles might we expect THIS year? daydream smile:
