Waiting to hear from the dog-sitter

Trouble with taking in a rescue dog, especially a neurotic older rescue dog, is that she hates kennels. She thinks she's been dumped again, she goes into a decline, she loses weight and fur, and for 3 days after I come home she leaps to her feet every time I move, won't let me out of her sight, and does the whole Camille bit when I go to work - paw to her forehead, sagging limply against the wall -

Drama queen of note. Don't know where she gets it from. I blame the French bulldog side of her breeding. The other half is English bulldog, which means she looks French but twice the size - weighs 40 lbs and has a chest like an all-in wrestler.

So no more kennels. I have a dog-sitter who comes to the house instead. Well, I have a few in my little black book. People don't queue up to take care of a sweet little dog with unexpected steel jaws who has been known to bite first and ask questions afterwards when they enter the house. I've sent texts to them all and am waiting patiently for replies. So far one has a wedding (not her own, but she still doesn't want to cancel, I asked) one would have LOVED to but is painting her nails all next weekend, and one said no, that I had a cheek asking, and talking of cheek, the spot still hurts in cold weather and had I noticed how cold it has been lately?

Still waiting to hear from my dog's personal favourite, a strapping young lass with a crewcut, booming voice and tattoos. My dog adores her, and is adored in turn. Well, who wouldn't love that face?

Salad- Its not just Salad

Salad is a common food item, but there is a lot more to salad than foliage in a bowl.

Salad was first eaten in the Byzantine Empire, It was a form of punishment for various crimes such speaking out of turn or riding bicycles without a high visibility robe.

The main ingredient is something called lettuce; lettuce was invented by John Deere who later moved to America and made tractors. The original lettuce was white or red until genetically modified to make it look better.

Tomatoes are often the second most common ingredient, these are in fact fruits and a chef high on drugs accidently put them in a salad bowl instead of a bowl containing peaches and other stuff, This happened at one of Elvis Presley’s after show bacon picnics and became all rage in the 1960s along with free love.

Salad dressing became law in Ireland by Evangelicals who saw naked salad as wanton and would make people think impure thoughts and later this law was used around the world, so next time you dress your salad remember those who were punished to death breaking the law.

The have been some momentous times for salad, did you know that the Apollo Moon landing module had a salad bar? And that during the Crimean war salad was used as bandages by Florence Nightingale, the lettuce went soggy and left a mushy pulp that later she called Penicillin.

Salad, glorious salad, how we thank thee for thine crunchy goodness (Map 32 verse 6)

One year older...

When I'm young I feel delight for my birthday.. When getting old.. I feel sad still single keep searching love for every web site in vain...

I can't understand why it's so difficult to meet someone who is willing to share life together to love me in real...

Should I feel guilty to a man who call me darling for years but I keep searching love here and there?

One is good enough to me indeed... I hate keep on searching... But this one never willing to spend a holiday Sat Sun Public holiday with me together... Never a trip together.. Never a festival together.. Never a social functioning together for the past ten years...can I believe I have a darling in real or just in dream?...

I really doubt I should think "better than none" or "none is better"?..

I feel very painful whenever I think about why I cannot enjoy the kind of love and attention from a normal kind of darling... should I have the right to find a real love to enjoy real companionship or should feel guilty to my existing so call "darling" whom I cannot feel his existence at all in every holiday sun sat festivals social function.. Never his show up anywhere.. Any times in my hopes.. Where is HE I always ask.. Why I have to be so lonely all the times....

Time flies..One year older again... I'm still so lonely here... Sailing in the endless sea... When and where can I park the shore to settle down? I make a same wish every year... When can it comes true???....

Wine & Journey (3)---Honey

Honey is too sweet, so perhaps it tastes better to mix it with vinegar. A little sweet, a little sour. I quite like its taste.

One friend asked how love feels. I said: “Add some honey to the water, add some vinegar to the water, drink it and then you will know.”

So it is like this: Water---Honey---Vinegar---Wine---Tea.

While everybody asks whether he is rich, who will ask whether he is kind-hearted.

While everybody asks whether she is beautiful, who will ask whether she is pure-minded.

Love Actually

What is your favorite Christmas movie? Mine is Love Actually. I watched it every Christmas's eve every years, since it was release on 2003. As a writer I admire the chaotic plot it has (8 main characters with their own stories!), how it intertwine each story smoothly with the same proportional intensity. As a movie lover the great ensemble of A list actors/actresses is really a pleasure to watch. As a hopeless romantic who's been in love, out of love, believe in love, don't believe in love, then believe again, the don't believe again, this movie has it all. There love begins, love ends, you fall in love, sometimes with the right person, most of the time for the wrong one. It does not scream out whether love exist or not it just says love actually is all of these. it contains smile, laugh, tears, jealousy, doubt, anxious, happiness, all. You can't be in love and expect only happiness, love allows you to feel, from sad to happy. That's what love actually is. This movie is a great reminder of it. That's why I never get bored watching it every year.

Two down the leg tingle happenings....

---just yesterday.
In the Badger State, local ueber left courts tried to allow current election ballots to saunter in for counting whenever, well after election day. SCOTUS put an end to that little adventure in providing ways to steal elections. And to incite BLM/antifa violence. And it did so even before the Honorable Judge Any-Hottie is seated. How fitting.
And fitting also is that now Associate Justice of SCOTUS Barrett was confirmed, and sworn in, on criminal monster Hilary's birthday.
She'll be wearing a blue party cap, no doubt---VERY blue.

Hilary, that is.

And as an aside, listen to the fake forced cackle from monster commie Harris, whenever she's caught on the way to a lie. So much like that of another mendacious female creature, referred to above.

Hilary, that is.
