I AM GOING TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL I THINK, NOT SURE

I'm thinking that I am going to go back to school, I already went to JWU, in Providence, RI, for 5yrs but since I came home after I broke up w/the female that I was living with out there, I never got the degree that I wanted to get.professor The whole time I was going to school for accounting up there, I kept thinking that I like to do labor and I'm not a yuppie. I kept thinking about a school in Exton called ATC or Automotive Training Center. My younger brother went there at the same time I was in RI and I was thinking about going to be an auto body tech, not an automotive tech like him. I keep thinking about painting cars and I usually excel at whatever I put my mind to, so whatta ya think people should I do it? confused
Right now I am just helping my mom w/a flower shop that she just bought. I do stupid stuff like a delivery here and there or like making the shop nice, clean and organized. Nothing in accounting. She would like me to stay in the shop even if I do go back to school b/c some day it will be my shop, she says. comfort

Texas Motor Speedway

Texas Motor Speedway is a fascinating track because it has never had a repeat winner in 12 races so it's hard to say who will run well. The track doesn't lend itself to any driver's style Texas is a very fast track, and the drivers are carrying a lot of speed in the corners. When you carry those speeds, the car wants to roll over on the right front. It's kind of a "rob Peter to pay Paul" issue. You can adjust your front suspension to make the car turn better, but you may put too much load on the right front tire. It's a compromise, and you can't cross the line. You want the car to turn well, but it's also got to be stable. If you're loading up too much pressure on the right-side tire, it will definitely end your day. Being a rocket ship in the first couple of laps doesn't mean a thing at Texas. The teams that stay with it, adjust tire pressure and keep the car consistently fast will win.

Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon haven't won at Texas, but they're the class of the field right now. Either one of those guys could break into the win column for the first time at this track. Gordon was strong at Atlanta before he had a problem with a crush panel
Tony Stewart was strong at Atlanta, too, and had a great duel with Johnson.
Clint Bowyer is going to win eventually this year, and he ran up front at Atlanta, finishing sixth.
Jeff Burton has been consistent just about everywhere we've been. The No. 31 team has that championship look about it.
New Chevy engine: Six teams will be using the Chevy R07 engine, including all three Joe Gibbs Racing teams — Denny Hamlin, Tony Stewart and J.J. Yeley — plus Kyle Busch and Casey Mears at Hendrick Motorsports and Scott Wimmer from Richard Childress Racing. Either these teams are extremely confident in the engine, or they feel like they're going to take a shot with a power plan that has more horsepower. It's the engine of the future so you have to roll it out at some point, just like the Car of Tomorrow or a new tire. I don't know whether there's a good week to do it or not, but it's just part of the nature of the sport.

Nascar Shootout

Well this was the warm-up race for the start of Nascar season. First off Toyota Showed us nothing. They gave a very lackluster performance after a lot of hoopla. Time will tell and I Know they are the rookie team and I wish them well. As for my main man Kevin Harvick (29) well he started very strong but faded after the break (Hmmmm just like the Bears) I think I see a pattern emerging about teams I pick--LOL. (At least I don't have to say wait until next year). Well Sunday is Daytona and I cant wait. GENTLEMEN START YOU ENGINES. lets go racing.

New Camera :)

Well I just received my new toy today. It is a Canon XTI digital SLR camera. I also picked up Canons 17-85 and 75-300 lens with image stabilization. Sweet system. It is replacing my Olympus E300 (Evolt) Digital camera.I have about 100 cameras (film). Some are almost 100 years old. Strange to hold a camera that old and then these new digital cameras. Well so far the new one takes great photos.Cant wait to take it out to play.

frustration to tranquility

This morning, I had a call from my wife. Ever since we separated, those have usually meant some sort of emotional pain or stress. I fought so hard to do as much good for her during my own distress and it seemed like no matter how many times I thought we came to an agreement we could both live with, something would later be wrong with it in her mind. I'm so tired of covering old ground that I just couldn't handle it again. I actually broke down due to the absolute frustration of not being able to make any progress at all with her. She's the only one who has ever reduced me to tears. I'm so sick of that happening. Thankfully, she finally seems to have a sense of where I've stood all along. She just wanted me to tell her that I understood how hard things were for her now and why she got so upset prior times. I did. She said nothing whatsoever that has further added in any way to my understanding of her situation. Thankfully, I think she at last has a better grip on my situation and that despite its comparative physical an financial safety, I have other issues to deal with. I have fantastic parents and we get along very well. However, I'm just not a child anymore. Things just aren't the same. Due to my transportation difficulties, I find myself brought back full circle in many ways. There's no point in going to a bar or club unless I'm actually going with somebody. I would almost certainly get lost and my chances of meeting the more intelectual and thoughtful kind of person I'm interested in would be next to nothing. Somehow, I've got to connect with people who don't mind doing the navigating and/or driving. Memorizing bus routs is a very hard process for me and keeping them in my hed is impossible unless I regularly use them. If I found somebody actually interested in a serious relationship, I'd certainly take the time to learn how to get to their place if it was at all possible for me. However, I'm not about to spend five or six weeks trying to learn a rout I might use two or three times.

I don't think Rebecca had any sense of just how thoroughly my social life has been reduced. Now, she does at last. I can dare to hope that from now on, she'll leave the past behind us and just be as happy as she can in her circumstances. I tried to make those happier for her for five years but given the communication trouble we've had, it's just obvious my efforts would have been much better spent elsewere.

I got to see Stranger Thn Fiction again this afternoon. I got hold of the descriptive audio and that was a real treet. It was a great movy even without description and was even more moving with the missing details. I guess I needed that sense of things turning out for the best and so many other truths that movy brings into focus. Any serious reader hould catch Stranger than Fiction if they can. It's not my usual cup of tea at all but I occasionally find completely unexpected things to be very enjoyable. Each ime a treasure like that comes along, it restores hope in me for no real explicable reason at all. It certainly doesn't change my current social situation. Perhaps though, my words here today will prompt others to benefit from this somewhat off-the-main-path film. I like to think some good comes out of all this extra typing I'm doing here.
