But you always look so good, and smell so neat. And watching the changes made so amazing.

And NO we can't watch. And then we get told off for not showing her any attention.

you could always work together in a business where both the husband and wife have to be all dolled up to look like Ken and Barbie every day. But wouldn't you get bored of this and then want the tradie with the bike stand shorts and bonds singlet?

I will go the opposite and when my daughter (and her husband and managery) moved out, my dog was happy as he had free range of the house again.

Now my dog has gone, it is a very empty home. One of my daughter's dogs has never been a man person is now all over me. Animals have a strong sense of 'being.' Not propriety, more that what others feel and need.

It's a terrible thing, losing our pets - they are members of the family and sometimes our only companion so I can only imagine what it would be like to come home to an empty house sad flower

My friend's dog died yesterday morning. He was only six but was diagnosed with cancer earlier in the year.

He soldiered on, she kept him comfortable, well-cared for and loved the whole time but yesterday morning her other little dog's barking woke her and he led her out to Lucky, who was lying in the garden, close to the end.

He died peacefully but, of course, she is distraught and I feel so sad for her crying
