I am definitely not OCD when it comes to housework - that was my mother and I rebelled when I left home.. as long as the place is clean and tidy and guests can sit down comfortably that's all that matters...

can do stuff whenever ya! feel like it don't have to please anyone whoohoo! Mind u my sisters are coming over in July from the east one of them is a fantastic cook and such the little mother figure
I will be soooo spoilt no house work no cooking I can handle that for a week

Apart from some responsibilities (work and children) life is great...I love it...

We all say that, but deep down we all would love to have someone to wake up to or with. I bet Daggy got coffee in bed this morning but bein single I had to get out of a nice warm bed into the freezin cold and make my ownI love it...

Tony I do have someone in my life.. but I love the fact that Monday to Thursday ... my time is my own... I answer to no one, do what I want when I want.. On the weekends I have someone to share it with...but as for being in a full time committed relationship 7/7 365 days a year... No thank you... Whether that feeling may change down the track, who knows what lies around the corner.. I live for today, tomorrow will come soon enough without my help...

Maybe it's different, because we are at different stages of single lives.. you were recently in a relationship, whereas I was still getting used to the idea I no longer had a partner in marriage, and now venturing into a world that I hadn't seen since I was in my 20's...
I must admit there was some positive aspects to marriage, it certainly beats the unsurity of being single, looking for that special person..but at this stage, I am still taking baby steps

I have just met my next door neighbour she has just moved in a lady about my age it was a relief to know I have her as my neighbour so far have met heaps of peeps in my street and nice peeps at that just lovin my new street and home

Good for you that you have a neighbor that you may get along with... I hope it continues all wonderful for you...
as for the house warming, go for it... its always safer to know the people near you, should you need help, or observation when you are working, at least the neighbors can keep an eye out for your home.
